Like, people are saying "omg, they're too pixely! Why use chibi sprites in the overworld? Don't try to make excuses for Game Freak, this is probably the best they can do! Eww, the island and water look like a DS game, why can't they make the graphics super good like Dragon Quest?"
By gum, back in my day, not once did we ever worry about graphics. We thought the 3D games looked so cool, and we played them for their content. I was completely content with playing my PS1 and N64 all day, even after the PS2 and GC came out. Even now I frequently play my very old games, and enjoy half of them more than newer games. I'd rather have a blast playing something than staring at some pretty pixels. People these days, I swear...
