I like turn-based and grid-based RPGs, plus puzzle games and whatever Legend of Zelda falls under, exploration or something (confession: I've only finished Minish Cap and came thiiiiiiis close in Ocarina of Time)
FPS's are too hard, as opposed to Third-person. I hate getting attacked from blind spots.
Dying happens though. But it doesn't happen as much if you have good situational awareness and prioritize taking cover over all else when you first get shot and also pay attention to the red directional hitmarkers that some games have when you get hit. -w-
I know about the markers. It even happens in Shin Megami Tensei. Demons can sneak up behind you and get a preemptive strike (Then it's first-person "Press-turn")
