And how did Lysandre get a Mega Ring? Or your rival, for that matter? Or Diantha?

Well, Diantha is the champion or was. She could have had it beforehand. Your rival, I dunno. xDD

Something that was probably relevant to the story but they couldn't be assed to explain.

This what I thought...or it might be his mega stone thing? He never really said what it was, though he did say he was going to use his mega ring.

Well, finally done with Team Flare again. Easily the most "meh"-worthy team yet.

All the evil teams are pretty meh to me, but yeah, Team Flare is probably the worst. xD

And what was the ultimate weapon running off of? Xerneas/Yveltal or the Pokemon on Route 10?

Hm ... slaughtering tons of innocent Pokémon to power a genocide superweapon that they intend to use to kill everyone who isn't Team Flare ...

I'd say that alone is a Nazi parallel.

Hmm....I never had this much of a problem with the XY story. There were the plot holes but I didn't bother to think much of them. Either I didn't notice or I didn't care xD

It honestly met my expectations. The minute Team Flare's purpose was revealed that it was for money (even though that wasn't true) way back when I knew there was no way this was going to be as good as B/W's and set my expectations waaay low.

It suffers from the same plot problems White 2/Black 2 did, shoving all the plot right between the 7th and 8th gyms. It's aggravating, because I felt that B/W plot was paced pretty consistently in comparison.

I've never really made a big fuss about story in Pokemon. It tends to meet my already extremely low expectations for story in this series. XD

I find the "hurr it's a kid's game" excuse to be a dumb one. So what, kids don't deserve quality storytelling?

In BW, I didn't really notice Team Plasma do much more than be all like "Ohh, we're Team Plaaaaaaasma!" until after the 7th Gym.

They might deserve it, but do you'd think they'd care that much?
