Is watching a show for kids as an adult that bad? I mean, we are all into Pokemon, which is "childish" :))

Of course not. I mean, I'm going to be 19 in 12 days and I still watch shows like Blue's Clues and The Backyardigans.

I'm just a big fan of the older children's programming in general. I'll watch it if it's an episode I really like. I grew up with that stuff. I see no reason to stop watching it if I like it. :p

Ι've stopped watching cartoons mostly because I stopped watching TV. I would have no problem otherwise.

I don't even engage in MLP's fandom. And I'm a huge fan of the show. I just don't want to deal with the nonsense.

And it's the bad part of the fandom that's the most vocal, sadly.

I think I understand :((
There are times where you should enjoy a series aside from its fandom.

This times a thousand. I think people shouldn't let the fandom deter them from something, experience it yourself and determine how you feel about it from there. You can always just ignore the fandom and still like what you like. Every fandom has its crazies.
