Lose the s in the https in your youtube links, @Flop; VB4 doesn't seem to recognize https links so they are badly linked.

Re: Rain Dance Messages 11: Swift Swim and Thunder Away

Idk, maybe because it quite literally is raining and thundering where I am.

You must not be all that far from where I am. Took me two hours to get in to work this morning due to rain, construction, and a shit ton of accidents, specifically a vehicle fire blocking the only non-construction path I had.

F*cking idiots who think they can drive...

It was raining so hard last night, that you could hear the rain because I was on the top floor. It sounded like rocks were falling onto the roof.

Ugh! Perth is full of those people!

In Australia, you only indicate right at a roundabout (the big circle thing) if you plan on going around to the right (remember, we go left around it first), or making a u-turn.... Had a car yesterday indicating right at every one he found even though he was going straight though >.< Why am i stuck behind idiots?!

Actually when you going straight, you technically indicate when you are exited even if you are going straight.

If you're going straight in a roundabout, you have to indicate right as you leave the roundabout to show that you are exiting. However no one really does do it but technically you are supposed to.

Or it is left. Either way you are supposed to indicate when you leave the roundabout when you go straight.

It's left in Australia. This guy was indicating right as he got to the roundabout and going straight though.

Re: Rain Dance Messages 11: Swift Swim and Thunder Away

I nearly got run over yesterday :3 someone went over on red on the pedestrian crossing my mum, dog and I was crossing on.

Since moving to the city I currently live in I have nearly been run over 5 times (I've lived here for nearly 2 years) but I have never had it happen with me before. None of these instances have been my fault, the driver has always been breaking the law... I've also seen a cyclist nearly get hit off his bike and a near crash between a lorry and impatient van in the past 2 months. The people here are mad.

Maybe I should stop walking around with a target sign...

Re: Rain Dance Messages 11: Swift Swim and Thunder Away

I once got on my bike instead of running across the street, and let's just say, I didn't accelerate fast enough. My face looked like Twoface after that and they ripped up my favorite shirt before they took me to the ambulance. But the worst part, was the cone they put around your neck, it itched like a bitch. Trying to stay still and not scratch when I went through the MRI was frickin' hard. Luckily, I only broke a wrist and my scars are pretty faded away.

Drivers are stupid idiots.

Same on boats, too.
If you see a speedboater, doesn't matter if your in an anchored sailboat that's on fire, get the hell out of the way because there is NO way that he/she will EVER stop for you. EVER.

I've actually had to leave the channel and run aground my boat because of these idiots. Did they stop? No.

Ugh. Impatience does seem to be the name of the game when it comes to driving. No one wants to be considerate of other road users or slow down.

Try pulling out of a car park here... You spend more time stopped as one after another, impatient cars speed on past you.

My next car that i buy is going to have parking assist sensors and reversing camera for that very reason. I just wish cars could have radar...

Honestly I'm ecstatic when one of the people (people who usually speed past school buses on the right side, the one with the kids coming out of it, going 50mph), actually stops at a stop sign or lets me walk across the street from my stop to my house

Well, there was a lawyer, but it was me being the idiot. If I ever jaywalk, I make sure to run across and not try to kill myself trying to start accelerating in the middle of the street.

Impatience and selfishness seems to be the primary cause of road accidents. Late for work? Leave home earlier!

Well, that day I discovered inertia is a property of matter not to be messed with. I learn something new every day!
