MIAR THAT SOUNDS RIGHT!

I don't got the language installed, but i have 729 Kanji flashcards.

And line 4 is the same as the one in the other picture: "Do you still want to start?", I think (yet it won't let you)

My guess is you need 130 KB of empty space to--
Does the PS2 have-- No, it's new. Even if the PS2 had internal memory, a lack of it wouldn't be a problem.

My best guess:

"The Memory card (PS2) has to be fornatted in order to save this game's data. Do you wish to format now?"

and 2nd screen:

"Format now?/Continue?
Yes/No"

And that you need at least 130KB of empty space to create said file.

It's as good a guess as one can make with this little knowledge.

So if you do have to format it, be sure there"s nothing important on it.
As for why it takes you back when you choose an option, I'm not sure...

WAIT I THINK I KNOW!!

In most Japanese games, "X" is used to deny and "O" is used to accept. Try pressing O at the 2nd screen.

I've been trying to grow my hair back out, so I don't think it needs to be eaten. ^^; *gets hair out of his mouth*
