Good part: Final evo Pokemon can be caught

Sad part: They'll most likely end up weaker than normally-trained evos
Well, not quite. A caught pokemon has the same untrained EVs as any other wild caught pokemon at a lower level. You just have to fully train them before they hit lv. 100 and they'll be just as strong as a pokemon raised from a lower level of the same species (barring any IV differences).

No way. That's an awesome way to get EXP fast.
It also saves a lot of time in having to raise some slow-growing monster up to that point if you're just looking to fill your Dex like I do.

Fully Agree.

Again, good for those who want to catch'em all like I try to.
For those that don't like it, don't catch them. Beat them for EV points instead.

Odds of finding them are, like, 10% per shaking patch at best anyway. They're not everywhere.

I started raising an Altaria in my Sapphire, but it waned when raising the levels started getting harder. Then Diamond and Pearl came around and I just forgot about my Sapphire team completely. I think I had a nice Aggron on that team too.

My little brother 1-up'd me when he raised an Aggron.

His Aggron kicked my Rampardos' ass.

I tried growing Rampardos. I love it's superhigh ATK, but its other stats are so poor it can hardly fight properly.
