Just beat Guardian Signs last night. Today I noticed one of the hinges on the DS broke, or something. It was only a piece of plastic; the thing still holds together.

Should I be worried?

Actually, yes. After a while, one of the hinges on my DS lite got loose (the side with the power light) and then the light broke off. After a while, it got even looser, and broke completely in half.

The DS Phat, anyway. My DSi works perfectly, it's just dirty.

Gonna have to take care of the 3DS, though...

It's a DSLite

Guess it's time to get the DSiXL. I don't like the lack of GBA port, but I like the bigger screens. Plus, I have the Game Boy Player hooked onto the Gamecube, so that first part doesn't matter that much.

i can see the wires im shure i culd snap it off if i tryed

That's what happened to mine. The wires were all over the place, and I could hardly see what was on the top screen anymore. So after that I just cut the last wire since it was unusable.

I have 2 other DS lites though, so I didn't really care when my first one broke.

I'll need to watch my 3DS though, because I know my Dad isn't buying those in quantities.

Yeah. My parents say I have to buy any new game systems/games from now on.

I'm going to wait until a 3DS 2.0 comes out to get one (sorta like DSlite)
