Hai everybody!
And practicing saying hai in front of a mirror isn't the worst thing that could happen. Nobody around here's going to think any less of you for it, so don't worry.![]()
I practice bullying people in the mirror.
Good evening RM!
Well, it's actually more like night here, being 9:30 PM, but "good night RM" sounds like I'm going to sleep, which I wasn't.Good evening, Flop, even though it's only 1:16 PM here.
I was thinking there would be something different, something surprising, something worthy of a season, or even series finale.I'd just assumed that the "expiration date" she was talking about just referred to the time when the Sun swells up and consumes Earth, which, while we as individuals will be long gone by then, it might come within a gem's lifetime.

I didn't think the writers would make a line like that without something important behind it...I was thinking there would be something different, something surprising, something worthy of a season, or even series finale.
Maybe, but it seems to me like while we've but effort into finding out how far along in its lifespan our own sun is, maybe Diamond Authority hasn't. Sure, I think gems would know that stars age, and they would've put effort into finding out how far along their own star is, but just as I couldn't tell you how far along other stars are, maybe gems don't know how far along ours is. Yeah, you could be right and it could be some as-yet-uknown plot point, but I think given what we know so far, this is just the simplest interpretation.
