Re: Random Messages Thread: Chapter 12 - Remembur Baf? He's Back, in Banana Form!

I love Fiat cars.

Always wanted to drive one. I've driven a Jag, a Merc, a Beemer, an Audi, a Chrysler, Ford, Holden, Mazda, Toyota, a Peugeot and a Porsche but never a Fiat or a Ferrari plus many others.

However I'm totally out of here.

Re: Random Messages Thread: Chapter 12 - Remembur Baf? He's Back, in Banana Form!

Let's put the argument of 'best' cad from Italia. Are we looking at just Ferrari and not considering Fiat, Lancia and all the other? Then comes the next part? What makes Italy the best producer of cars when there all homogeneous qualities to most modern cars manufactured these days. Tfen we have to note that best is subjective. In terms of what being best?

There comes the problem. I'm not going to say that so and so make the best cars because I'm not qualified to do that and nor have I driven cars from the early 20th century to now, let alone driven several different brands and manufactures to make a bold and audacious claim that a certain country makes good and bad cars.

I have driven in a couple of brands and I currently live near a museum of a manufacture. However as I pointed out several times as there are several variables, hpit is difficult to even make a highly subjective claim with a limited sample size to suggest a country makes a good or bad car when there are several manufactures, micro manufacturers and brands that produce cars in a certain country. Then we reach the point of stereotyping giving characteristics that are outdated in terms of automobiles whcih in the modern era of automobile manufacturering is considered moot.

So the whole problem with saying that so and so make best cars ii highly subjective, unreliable with a small sample size and not valid without proper testing meeting several criteria in a balanced unbiased testing campaign.

Hey if I have to bring automobile manufacturers documents into this I will. Ahh the thrill of debating.

Are we arguing about performance? About confort?

If it's confort, Japanese cars tend to give out the best out there. They have high mileage and long life spans.

If we are talking performance, then we look no further than Italy having lambos as well as pagani. Those have been proven to have some of the best desing and have been proven to be the best at performance, with some cars only being able to be driven in special race tracks.

All of your arguing is invalid.

The Punstermobile is the best car ever. It runs on nuclear power and laughing gas.

Re: Random Messages Thread: Chapter 12 - Remembur Baf? He's Back, in Banana Form!

Best which is subjective. No one stated what best is before making a claim. I have experiences with a Japanese brand that didn't last long but that doesn't tell me that the brand or the country is terrible because I'm not perpetuating to the stereotype with a biased, limited sample size.

Now you note Pagani as a powerful cad well I assume powerful. Does that mean that Italy make the most powerful cars? Like a little V6 Alfa Romeo? Now can say that Pagani produces one of the most powerful cars and with stats that can be proven but you can not use that argument to say that Italian cars are the best/the most powerful which renders the argument that you made in trying to categorize criteria into something that had not worked.

Now you also said that Pagani and Lambos have the best performance. However the McLaren, Bugatti and the Koenigsegg Regera are considered faster. So since they are better performance is it safe to say that France, UK and Sweden make the best cars? At least in terms of your criteria.

This sounds like the most dangerous car ever. Not only does it produce radiation, but a gas leak can lead to many accidents.

That's precisely the point. :D

All the Diamondshipping

When I got rear-ended last year we got a Fiat for a rental car. But I wasn't on the insurance so I couldn't drive it. qq And no one else drove it either, it just sat in the driveway until we had to return it. What a waste, it looked so streamlined and comfy...

Appreciate it for the next 2.58s that he has it because now that you've made your opinion known he will change it just to spite us.

I've been in this situation before.
