Re: Random Messages Thread: TM 12 - Water Gun

It was a dark and stormy night. That should have been my first clue. After a long day of driving, I came to a secluded, old and somewhat dilapidated and creepy hotel in the middle of the woods. Against my better judgement, I decided to stop in to see if they had any rooms open. I parked my car in front and got out. The rain was coming down hard, and I could hear the loud crack of thunder and the low, mournful howl of the wind through half-bare trees as the sky flashed every so often, giving me enough of a view of the building I meant to spend the night in so that a heavy sense of dread and foreboding welled up from the depths of my soul. I walked cautiously up the front steps until I came to the door, a large double door which showed its age in the peeled paint and every pit and scratch in its wooden surface. With great effort, I opened the heavy door, which gave a loud, slow creak.

I stepped inside, where at least it was dry, if not warm. The only light in the room was that of the moon that shone in through the door behind me and two windows to either side of it as it peeked out from behind the clouds. I thought I saw a shadow dart across the spot where the moonlight shone on the floor, but when I looked at the window, I saw nothing, just the sheet of rain flowing down the other side.

I let out a weak "hello," more of a question than a greeting. A dim orange light flickered into existence through what looked like a doorway in the opposite wall. From behind the wall calm a gnarled, hunched man carrying a candle. He flashed me a crooked smile and rasped, "I've been expecting you."

It was then that I bolted out the door, headed straight for my car, opened its door, jumped inside, and closed and locked the door behind me. I hurriedly tried turning on the car. It tried to start, but failed. I lookd at the dashboard, the fuel level was dropping fast. I looked back up and saw a small, twisted, shadowy form scurry from beneah my car for the trees.

Re: Random Messages Thread: TM 12 - Water Gun

It was a dark night, no one in sight. I was sitting down in my room writing the last part of my essay, that's when I heard it. "knock, knock, knock" three knocks filled the hallway, and sent a chill down my spine. I got up not knowing what to expect, opened my room door, and saw nothing. I went back to work on my essay when I heard it again about an hour later, "knock, knock, knock" another three knocks. Frightened I called out to hear no response, "it must have come from the front door," I said as I walked down the hallway. Only the noises of the night could be heard. The trip was only 3 or 5 seconds but it seemed like an eternity, as the noises of the night had gotten to me. I held my ears as I kept walking reaching the front door. I looked, but could only make out a shadow, I looked again in what was less than a second, nothing was there. I looked through the window, not a thing in sight. I then opened the door to find...

It's what happened to me last year in third person, how can it not be random?

After I called my Mom and told her everything and she laughed at me for being afraid.

Sweet work the next day I was just chilling washing dishes and then I hear it again, I freaken got out the deli and didn't come back for a while.

@Shiny Metagross; - Light Rail is fun to ride, ours is being extended!
before it only was from SeaTac Airport to downtown Seattle (located in the middle of the city) - it's getting extended all the way to North Seattle - proposing building another extension to the nearby city of Bellevue.

what's the PSE?

Thanks too.
