Sometimes I play an online game about running a country, and one of the issues they present you with lets you make clothing be either mandatory, optional or outlawed in your country. I made it optional.

Some browser games are good. The one I remember most fondly is this complete Flash recreation of Super Mario 64 (not saying the name because I don't want to get infracted for mentioning fangames). Ahh, that was a good game. I also liked the Achievement Unlocked and This Is The Only Level games a lot too. And then there was this thing called SketchStar or something on Miniclip that while not a game per se was still a fun flash program where you could create animations. I feel like all of these great games have disappeared, never to return thanks to the abundance of cheap mobile games and the death of Flash. Don't get me wrong, I hate Flash, it's slow and full of security holes. But some of my most fun internet experiences were playing Flash games and watching Flash movies.

I remember last time I went there, just about everyone's were.

I never played Neopets. I prefered WebKinz. When I was younger, kids were spreading a rumor that WebKinz and Neopets or WebKinz and Club Penguin started a war (?!) against each other. I think even then I knew that was a load of hooey, but I still wanted to believe.

I dunno, I used to question how such a war would be fought. It just sounded weird.

hehe... Honestly, the game just doesn't have a lot to hold me to it. And it overly relies on Flash.

I wish that HTML5 had easy-to-use software for game and animation creation like that which existed for Flash in the latter's heyday. If it did, then we'd probably be seeing an HTML5 renaissance reminiscent of the Golden Age of Flash.

I never really played the flash games too much. I got a high score an one of their tower defense games once, but never got the trophy for my profile from it.
It became mostly about the stock market game for me, just watching my numbers grow.

It does. I have seen some very powerful games that didn't include a third party technology.

Really? In that case I guess I should be checking out more websites. Could you give me some examples of those games?

In 5th grade I played the Stock Market Game with a couple of friends. We sucked and just picked companies based on which ones we liked. It was fun nevertheless.

Re: Random Messages Thread: TM 12 - Water Gun

Sorry I don't do dressing up :D
you're a nudist? too?

What does your usertitle mean? I neeeeed to know

Kind of meant fancy dress, nope not a nudist :D

My usertitle is a reference to Tikal's Prayer from Sonic Adventure:

The servers are the seven chaos,
chaos is power,
power is enriched by the heart,
the controller is the one that serves to unify the chaos

It refers to the Master Emeralds ability to control the Chaos Emeralds, both Tikal and Knuckles the Echidnas repeat this when they are using the Master Emerald to control the Chaos Emeralds in Sonic Adventures 1 and 2 respectively

Tikal's my current choice of avatar so my usertitle goes with my theme, apart from my sig anyway

I would have to google to find them.

But if you are interested in making them, Crafty - JavaScript Game Engine, HTML5 Game Engine crafty is a javascript/html5 game engine :p

There are some examples at the bottom there too.

Best flash game is The Legend of Zelda and the Lampshade of no Real Significance
(Yes it's a fan game but it's so loosely based on Zelda that I don't think I'll be infracted for mentioning it)
