We do not have such large spiders.

We have large parrots and snails...

We also have whales!

Most of them are on beaches though...

Honestly though, I have NEVER seen a whale.

Oh wait, I saw one on Kaikoura, but it was in the water...

I have seen some Pilot whales (actually a kind of dolphin), and bottlenose dolphins just a few hundred metres from Devonport.

Yeah, but mostly if you live near the bushland. I live in suburbia, so it's okay. Only one about five years.
