Do you have any obscure ideas for a Pokémon game/movie/manga/toy line/etc., not necessarily something you could see happening, not necessarily something that makes sense, but something that would at least be interesting to see or is at least fun to think about? I sure do. Here are some of my ideas:
Pokémon Doll Line a la Star Wars: Forces of Destiny
If you wanted to go for canon female characters only, you have a lot of options for dolls: protagonists, Gym Leaders, you get the idea. If you want new characters for, I don't know, Pokémon High, you could have a standard trainer, a type specialist, a bully who's secretly part of Team Rocket, a Coordinator, and so on and so forth.
A Pokémon cartoon a la Super Mario Brothers Super Show/Captain N/Legend of Zelda cartoon
We got the Pokémon anime, but why not a goofy 80s esque cartoon series? Maybe the character designs are off from their original designs (like Mega Man in Captain N), maybe it's animated by DIC Entertainment (...oh wait DIC Entertainment is no more)
