Ranked Battles Season 11 has begun in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, running through to October 31st - Regulation Set E comes into force from this season

Season 11
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's Ranked Battles Season 11 has begun, and will run through to October 31st, at 11:59pm (UTC). This season follows the new Regulation Set E, which expands the list of allowable Pokémon to include those found in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask.

Regulation Set E
Regulation Set E will run through to January 2nd, at 11:59pm (UTC). Under this Regulation Set, Trainers may use any Pokémon numbered 001-398 in the Paldea Pokédex or numbers 001-200 in the Kitakami Pokédex that have been are caught, hatched, and obtained as gifts in either Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet, as well as Pokémon and Regional Forms from the following list that have been brought from Pokémon HOME.

Apart from tthese changes to eligible Pokémon, Regulation Set E is otherwise unaltered from the previous Regulation Set. Pokémon may be entered at any level, but will be set to level 50 during matches. Pokémon may also be given Held Items, however no more than one copy of any item can be present on a player's team. All battles will be limited to 20 minutes total, including 7 minutes of time per player, with Turn Time and Preview Times of 45 and 90 seconds respectively.

Season 11 Rewards
Players will be matched up with other players of similar rank to ensure even competition. Players will need to finish at least one match with a win or loss season to be eligible for rewards at the end of the season. The Season 8 rewards include the following:

How to Start a Ranked Battle
To start a Ranked Battle in Pokémon Scarlet or Violet, follow these steps in-game:
  • Launch your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.
  • Open the X menu.
  • Select Poké Portal.
  • Select Battle Stadium.
  • Select Ranked Battles.
