I rate that a 9.5/10. The song is beautiful and suits the sequence very well. Also, the atmosphere of the song pulls me in and makes me curious of the series as a whole as far as the setting goes. Yep yep. The art is also very nice (but that's something I don't usually pay much attention to). Only downside to that intro is that I couldn't make out the Japanese for the singer or the title. I could only read one kanji in the title, and I read that one wrong since it's part of another kanji and not a stand-alone type set up. Well, at least I now know the name of the intro is Tabi no Tochuu (the "chuu" I would've read as "naka" since I recognized the kanji right off) and it's performed by Kiyoura Natsumi. I shall definitely look her up.

This is the intro from Lodoss Tou Senki: Eiyuu Kishi Den. Kiseki no Umi performed by Sakamoto Maaya but the compositions and arrangements, and such, I'm sure was done by the great Yoko Kanno. I should just read the credits. I see Yoko's name there.

Ironically, even though I've never seen any of Record of Lodoss War, I had heard the song way before I knew that that song was used for the series. Kiseki no Umi is what made me a big fan of Sakamoto Maaya and why I collect and own pretty much all of her studio albums to this day. Singles are a whole other story. That'd be too expensive to import. lol

Now, as for the opening there, I'd rate it an 8/10. The song suited it, just too sparkly for me. lol

The song is a little generic for my taste. I usually enjoy openings with great animation, but this one uses stills most of the time. I still like it because it sets the mood for the anime pretty well. 7/10


Rockman.Exe Beast

I couldn't find this opening anywhere where I could insert the video here,...I hope that's okay. Ironically this opening uses many stills as well. XD Certainly not the best season, but I'll let you decide.
