Not my kind of thing at all but you can't say the design itself is not good. I would also add that it doesn't look a huge amount like a Pokemon...more like a creature from another franchise.

Honestly I've grown incredibly fond of Slowpoke's entire family over the years. They're all just such delightful doofuses. G-Slowbro in particular getting a fucking arm cannon is just absolute peak character design.
I would especially be remiss to not highlight the wonderful official artwork for the boy.
