Edit: Yes, this is the JP version of the soundtrack. I don't think the US soundtrack has ever been given an official release outside of a couple of tracks mixed in with those of Sonic Spinball in the 90's...
 
It definitely lives up to its name, especially with that lovely piano. 8.5/10.

There actually was! And although there are indeed some Sonic Spinball tracks in there, for the most part it's pretty much a near-definitive release of the US soundtrack, containing most - if not all - of the major songs from there... and they're all extended versions, too (with some noticeable musical changes in a few tracks as well, however).

Speaking of Sonic, here's something a bit unconventional for this thread so far:



It's kind of interesting to hear how certain songs sound at a lower speed... this is the original for reference.
