Are those two things Touhou music? Because if they are, you know it's probably going to be pretty grade A material music. Speaking of grade A music, TWEWY final remix. View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PM4eZQ5cA7A
I'm not very familiar with this series or its music, but this certainly sounds like a theme that's fitting of the game's apparently extremely dark premise. 7/10.
Now for something cheerier... someone took the time to create re-arrangements of several songs from the Kirby series — including the most recent one, Kirby Star Allies — using instruments from Kirby's Dream Land 3, an SNES game with a highly recognizable sound style. This is one of them:
8/10 it's a romance theme but also sounds more sad. I get a feeling like two lovers are reunited but have to depart from each other so soon, and something foreboding might happen to one of them.
Synth and electric guitar is an interesting combination here, but it works. I still only just like but not love the music from this series overall, though, and this song isn't quite an exception to that rule for me... but it is good music, certainly! 7/10.
7/10 Nice and relaxing, only ever played the demo for that game, but I liked it.
And as a segue on that, on the same demo disc I played this wonderful gem of a game, I never owned the full one but it easily fits in my list of favourite games.
2/10 I'm sorry, but the vocals are kinda obnoxious. Didn't bother listening to the rest after a minute, if it didn't have the vocals I would have given it a higher rating.
