Piper saw Maria waking up and went to say something but she was still choked up, she couldn't say anything but just watch as the girl that Umbreon practically sacrificed everything he knew started to wake up.
"I saved you... Umbreon sacrificed his own memories, his own life so I could save yours.. And now he's gone" Piper said her eyes swelling up with more water as she looked at Maria and tried to smile at her.
Piper stared at Maria some more before she got up and walked over to Maria hugging her, she buried her face on Maria's shoulder as she started crying more, although it wasn't much tears since her eyes were red and puffy, the tears were dried up. "She has to pay. She can't get away with what she did to you and him" Piper cried in her arms.
"I don't know how, Umbreon's entire memory has been wiped, he doesn't even seem to remember me and seems to hate me for some reason. He attacked me, his trainer and nothing would snap him out of it" PIper whispered her crying became small sobs.
"We'll fan a way, I'm sure," Maria encouraged, she knew that Piper must've been really sad but she also knew that she had to make her feel better about what had happened. "I'll help you out."
"Thanks.. but they all fought against her, they couldn't win because of her Mismagius" Piper sniffed "And then there's my Umbreon, coming from the parents that belong to my parents Umbreon is tough, we can't even win" Piper said softly looking like she had lost all hope.
"Now I don't want you to cry like that," Maria shook her head at Piper. "Next time I'll be there," she smirked. "So we'll get him back, I can assure you that."
Alma meanwhile sat next to James. "Man, everyone lunges for the throat." She said, taking out a small flask of saké and took a swig from it.
"Hey, no one has free access to your medical records, so don't expect everyone to be on the same page as you." Amelia said, squishing out the sliced off cigarettes.
"Don't worry about it. I'm just glad you're safe. As for your kidnapper..." Alma said before her face soured. "... She will pay with her limbs!" She hissed out, her eyes showing a fire of anger.
James just looked amused by how fiery Alma's temper was.
Ricky found himself on the other side of the city, specifically Slateport's skate park. He needed to blow off some steam and he didn't know any other way how.
"I think we can all agree that we can answer questions tomorrow," Adam sighed and leaned against the bed. He then looked towards Saeko. "Sorry I left you alone."
"I hope you are right, because I don't know what else to do" Piper replied, she looked back at her Pokemon who were equally sad as her including Ditto in Umbreon's form. "I just can't bare the thought of waiting but it's all I can do isn't it" Piper added.
"I'm going to be honest here." Calvin said, a stone expression his face. "All we know is that one second we were all fighting that guy together, then we must have blacked out, because the next thing we knew, he was gone, you guys were gone, our Pokémon were out cold, and there were sleeping police around us. We figured you guys showed yellow in a pinch, just as everyone else has, and ditched. Of, course, now we know it was a misunderstanding."
"Which is why we prefer being left alone." Camille said in a low tone. "So we can avoid problems such as these."
Imogen had had enough with all the twerp, especially the oens that couldn't stand her perfumes. She had walked out of the room ages ago and was texting her mate on her phone of how shite the day was going.
