The official Japanese Pokémon website has announced that Trainers shopping at Pokémon Center stores in Japan will be able to receive a free Happiny during the month of their birthday.

This distribution will begin November 1, 2021 and continue through to October 31, 2022. Eligible customers will receive a code card, which will then give Happiny when redeemed in-game. The code can only be redeemed once, and once used, the serial code cannot be used in other save data. To receive a code card, customers will have to show store staff their Nintendo Switch console with the game icon of either Pokémon Sword, Pokémon Shield, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, or Pokémon Legends: Arceus, along with any form of official identification confirming their birthdate.

Players with a birthday in October can still receive a code card to redeem a Milcery in Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield until October 31, 2021.
