Axew had been confirmed by the very first SwSh Direct. It was shown outside of the trailer. The axew-line as well.
Yeah, my bad, I just noticed Serebii already had it on its list.Axew had been confirmed by the very first SwSh Direct. It was shown outside of the trailer.
Golisopod has already been confirmed.Whimsicott and Golisopod (not certain if it or Wimpod has already been seen) are also in.

Do you know where Whimsicott was shown? I can’t find it.Whimsicott is also in.
Edit: Golisopod line has already been confirmed.
200+ confirmed, it will definitely be at least as big as XY.How many confirmed pokemon does that make so far?
I feel it'll be more than that. Sun and Moon's regional dex had over 300, and USUM had over 400. The number increases each game, and I feel it'll be even bigger this game. At least 500200+ confirmed, it will definitely be at least as big as XY.
It's probably only like this because of the history between Britain and the United States IRL.I'm just glad up to this point we have more unova pokemon than kanto.
For the Eviolite problem, couldn't it just not work for Pokémon that have new evolutions like how a Marill can still be hatched when bred without the Sea Incense?
Not really. For the Eviolite problem, couldn't it just not work for Pokémon that have new evolutions like how a Marill can still be hatched when bred without the Sea Incense?
Well, Eviolite is just an item and GameFreak has been known to just copy-paste the item list every generation- as far as I am aware, there are still unused items from Gen 4 on there. Plus it would be even more useful now when facing off against Dynamax, since it raises an unevolved pokemon's defense stats by 50%... if you want your pokemon to survive a few Max Moves without Dynamaxing it, it would surely benefit from holding that Eviolite this gen.imagine getting rid of megas, z-moves and even pokemon and not getting rid of eviolite. i can't even,
