Life is fairly boring. Day after day, it’s the same thing... you wake up, you work, you go home, and you sleep. You know, give or take. However, what would happen if each day was the exact same?

More specifically, what if you had to repeat the same day… over and over? Literally.

Everyone around you seems oblivious to this. And it’s only you locked in this time loop. You’re stuck, and you have no way out. There is no solution in sight. What would happen then? What would you do?

Hey guys, this is a RP. A Groundhog Day RP to be exact. For more info, look here. It is well worth the read for fully getting a grasp on how this all will work.

Anyways, the plot is simple. You have an OC. And that OC lives the same day over and over. Nothing they do that day will carry over; everything completely resets as if nothing happened. You can literally do anything. With no consequences. It will reset, and undo itself. The possibilities are endless.

However, good luck finding a solution to getting out of this time loop. And no, this is not a fantasy RP. There is no concrete, magical solution. It’s a slice of life. And the day just repeats itself. Very exciting.

Now how about some rules? And yes, there are still rules, despite the nature of the RP.

• No tennising, bunnying, all of that good stuff. The basics.
  
  
• No god-modding. You’re better than that. This one is pretty crucial, and a pet peeve of mine. Read more about it here.
  
  
• Keep things PG-13.

• A mod's word is rule. If a mod says something, listen to them.
  

And important notes about SUs:

• No super powers, strange species, etc. This is a slice of life RP. Humans only.
  
  
• Likewise, your OC must be believable within the setting. For example, no teenagers who are masters at five forms of fighting. I will take this on a case to case basis per SU. Essentially, be realistic with your OC.
  
  
• Speaking of fighting… there will be no big fights. Or battles. Or villian. There is no need for your OC to be a badass. Actually, your OC shouldn’t be a badass.
  
  
• Make your OC a fun age! Not just a snarky young adult. This isn’t a rule, but more of a slight nudge, I guess.

Name: Alex Kensrue

Age: 29

Occupation: Tattoo artist

Appearance: Alex is definitely below average in terms of stature, standing just below 5 feet tall. She has olive-colored skin and partially Asian attributes, with short, messy hair that is currently dyed in a lilac-silver hue. Her attire seems to be a mix of punk and hipster style, though she typically sticks with worn flannels, band tees and ripped jeans. Perhaps predictable given her job, she has an abundance of countless tattoos that sprawl all over her body, though mostly along her arms and her collarbone. She also wears a pair of Ray Bans and a necklace with three bullets strung in the middle.

Personality: Alex is quite amicable, and gets along rather well with other people in moderation. She doesn't purposely antagonize anyone without due cause, though she can be particularly passive-aggressive when in a bad mood, which tend to be rare in the first place for someone like her. Despite her friendliness, she easily gets fed up with jokes about her height. She also typically relies on deflective humor to defuse tense situations, though this isn't to say she can't be serious when it's needed.

Other: Alex is not good at math. She also tends to be really lazy at times, especially in the morning.

Name: James Dalton

Age: 30

Occupation: none. Cashed out a tech start up. Now spends his time acting important and giving interviews on tech culture and being smart.

Appearance: Given that James no longer has to work for a living, his appearance is polished as can be. His hair is light brown and medium length, carefully styled and maintained. His emerald green eyes shine brightly, showing that he's always well rested. His attire varies on the setting, but is always of the finest make. James has a toned, athletic physique, as he doesn't have anything better to do in the morning.

Personality: His brilliance has made him into a swaggering, swashbuckling sort. He has an air of easygoing confidence and his ego is more massive than his bank account. James is gregarious and the life of the party and he's always up for an adventure.

Other: favorite food is bacon.


Name: Melody St. Clair.

Age: 28

Occupation: James Dalton's personal assistant.

Appearance: Melody is slim and graceful, betraying her past as a ballerina. She has high cheekbones, pale porcelain skin, light grey eyes and light blonde hair. Unlike her boss, she's always dressed professionally and she rarely takes off her glasses.

Personality: She is everything that James isn't. The yin to his yang. Quiet, studious, efficient, and most importantly competent. She kept his company from crashing and burning and she does the same now that he's on his own.

Appearance: Robin has short, combed back black hair and brown eyes with olive skin. He stands at 5'9 and wears a pair of square-shaped glasses with black rimming. He has a thin but somewhat defined built and a light stubble.

Personality: Robin is somewhat quiet and shy around crowds. However, he has a lot of hidden thoughts, he's a lot more egotistic than it might seem at first glance and is somewhat entitled. He cares and tries to get along with others however and always worries about their well being and always keeps his sight on his responsabilities. He can, however, be lazy and a huge procrastinator, always trying to find a reason not to do something.

Other: Hates spicy food and is kind of intimidated by his sister.

Appearance:He has a tatoo on his right arm, and wears glasses. He stands at 5" 9', and other than that, he is basically some random 21 year old person
Personality:Chris has a high IQ, yet he doesn't use it. He is introverted, and like most introverts, he is quite hard to understand. He also likes to procastinate, and tries to find excuses, unless it involves doing something he likes

Occupationetective

Appearance:Long brown-blond hair and blue-green eyes. She's average height and usually dresses in comfortable clothing. Always carries her gun and always has on a golden cross around her neck.

Personality: Bella is kind and caring. She believes all can be redeemed, but also strongly believes that one should do the time for their actions. She is a christian and goes to church every Sunday. She believes in tolerance and thus never forces her beliefs on others. She does not actually like guns, and avoids using them at all costs.

Other: She is a hell of a shot. Outside of that though she does know how to fight hand to hand, and usually has pepper spray and a taser.

Name: Marissa Hayes

Age: 27

Occupation: Detective (Bella's Partner)

Appearance: Long black hair and a right blue eye. Her left eye is missing and thus she always has an eye patch over it. She is slightly taller than most. She wears whatever she feels like that day.

Personality: Marissa is a not BS kind of girl. She says what she wants, and does what she wants. She not a martyr but she cares. She tends to get a bit emotional over her twin sister Maizy as her sister is a highly wanted criminal. In her freetime she actually attempts to track her down. Outside of that though she can be quite friendly and at times flirty. She enjoys having fun and partying. She greatly enjoys swords and even has a pair of scimitars at her home.

Other: She like her partner knows how to fight hand to hand. She is also good with her swords and would use them if she could. She also attends church. Basically she is a detective with a little extra.

Appearance: Hair past her shoulders, wavy, choppy blonde. Light skin, few freckles. Green eyes. 6’0”, intimidating in heels. Tall but somehow a little thicker than slender. Almost never not clad in thrifted clothing, but always looking a little sleepy.

Personality: Aubrey lives intensely in the moment, at times verges on hedonistic but maintains a functional way of living. She is light-hearted, sharp and unabashed, eager to find the faults and the triumphs of everyone she meets. Has an affinity for the irreverent. Adaptable. Runs with change.

Other: Never stays in the same town for more than three months.

Occupation: UX Designer

Alana has dark brown hair, cut to medium length, with hazel eyes bearing slightly noticeable bags underneath. Her physique is more or less average, given the very few circumstances she has to actually get out and exercise. Her normal wardrobe consists of t-shirts and jeans, as per any software development lackey.

Personality
Calm with a sense of overwhelming exhaustion is the first thing one notices about her. Her work calls for all of her attention, and dominates her mind when even while she isn't in the office. Being a UX Designer, and a rather good one at that, she has an extremely fine attention to detail surrounding people's reactions to things around them. She takes pride in her ability to analyze, and is noticeably upset by any form of underestimation. Still, she's usually very willing to listen to others, since once again, her job calls for her to be empathetic to other's experiences.

Name: Sylvester Capello

Age: 29

Occupation: Online Video Creator (Tech Vlogger)

Appearance: Sylvester has a very Italian face, with a somewhat protruding chin, and naturally arching, yet still masculine brows. His eyes, a very dark brown, are windows into his emotions, and even a buffoon could figure out exactly how Sylvester feels by looking in his eyes. His black hair is often frazzled, and is wavy around his head, since he doesn't do too much to it, beyond basic washing. He has a tall, thin figure, that he maintains, primarily for his audience, since he would likely lose many subscribers if he didn't. Overall, he's a conventionally attractive guy, with some odd hair. He'll often be found in plain-looking, yet nice clothes. On this day, he wears a white t-shirt with a breast pocket, jeans, and a leather jacket on top.
EDIT: Also, Sylvester stands at a rather short, at least for people like him, 5'5".

Personality: Most of what Sylvester does is extremely viewer-driven. Despite the fact that he recently hit 100,000 subscribers on his tech review/vlog channel, he still live paycheck-to-paycheck, albeit in large paychecks. He has essentially no time to spare on his own interests, he has barely any friends, most of what he does is attempts to get exclusives set up for his viewers to watch. He lives a very lonely life, and, if you were to see him off-camera, he would act very slow and sedated, compared to his on-camera personality. He also has on and off insomnia, so, for example, when he's feeling good, he may schedule something early, then, thanks to insomnia, not wake up until afternoon.
EDIT: Also, Sylvester swears rather often, especially when stressed.

Other: Two other questions: what is the approximate time, as of where the RP is at the moment, and, to be sure, swearing, as long as it's PG-13, is allowed, correct?
