I'd know this famous position anywhere. Are we returning to the classic walking mascot pokemon formula? Even Lilie is began to carry her pokemon in her arms for some reason. Goodbye Tsareena and Brionne, you're not cute enough anymore to appear in most of the episodes yet to air.

Every main girl had a pokemon they kept out of its ball except May and Serena. Misty had Togepi, Dawn had Piplup, Iris had Axew, and now Lillie has Vulpix, with Lana having her starter or Eevee out in most episodes, and now we have Mallow with Shaymin. The Alola girls don't have them out in every episode, but it's mostly the same thing.

I find it odd the writers couldn't market any of May's pokemon like that, she really was lacking that one iconic pokemon all the other girls are known for. As for Serena the three she had wouldn't make sense to be out all the time. This is one of the things that felt so strange about the way the writers handled May's pokemon, none of them got much promotion at all and it felt like the writers didn't really know how to advertise them at all.

Lillie's been carrying Snowy in her arms from the beginning, and Lana and Mallow used to do the same with Popplio and Bounsweet/Steenee.

But Brionne and Tsareena are too big now, so Eevee and Shaymin replaced them.
