PYRAMIDS! PYRAMIDS! I've never played a Metroid game, but I have played Metroid Blast in Nintendo Land, (which, by the way, is lacking a Pokemon attraction) and that might be the closest I'll ever get to the Metroid series. Of course, I'll be closer to Samus in SSB4.

a lot of the brawl matchups don't make sense, the game is kind of forced to make its own canon
otherwise pikachu would have one hell of a time trying to defeat ganandorf

Actually, me and a friend have thought of this
The strongest character in Smash, if going by canon and logic, would probably be Samus.
But then Zelda and Ganon ignore technology and natural laws with their magic.
