To PUSA, yes. They probably bribe the writers to have Jessie and James hate each other and never hug and so forth

It would be nice to see more of this.

I'm still doing the 117 thing xD I went to bed at 1:17 this morning, my computer has a mere 117MB of space left, the answer to a maths...*blahblahblah*
I dunno, the orange and the frills and those silly glasses and pigtails :/ Ok for a contest (just about - I like the outfit don't get me wrong!) but not for anything else.
Musashi: Wage or loan, if you compare them...
Kojiro: ...you won't be quite sure which one is better.

Then shouldn't, you know, a money symbol be on the scale?
God, my attempted translation failed entirely :p I wonder who's the wage and who's the loan? And yeah, pink heart = just a liiiiitle bit inconsistant with the theme.

As for Bulbapedia, could you say something like:
In DP 133, one image from their motto shows Jessie and James on a set of scales with a pink heart symbol on it, seemingly at balance despite it swinging slightly.

Ya know, just disregard the dialogue altogether? ;-)
That was just a parody scene though...
Of what? Them winning at baseball? xD

Also, I was talking to someone last night and he said that he saw them as having a more bro/sis relationship. What do you guys think of that?

I heard it was a parody of some show/anime. I don't remember anything more than that.

Welcome to the dub. I'm surprised this hasn't come up sooner.

Well yeah, I think that Kojiro sees Musashi as his big sister, and Musashi sees Kojiro as her little brother. The support they never had before. Sort of.

Wow, bizarre.

My only doubt is that, for example, with DP 117 - that line - if me and my sister were about to die, I'd say the same to her. It's maybe different with brothers and sisters, I wouldn't know, nor would I really expect it to be. Although, I don't think the fanservice scene of the hoso fits into sibling :p

I disagree with that. I think they just see each other as best friends.

If you want a real brother/sister relationship, take a look at Satoshi and Hikari. Then compare how they act to Musashi and Kojiro and tell the person you were talking to, ii kanji, to call that a brother/sister relationship again.

I agree with the first bit, but as for the second, surely all different relationships have different dynamics? Not that I've seen any brother/sister with the same relationship as M/K (unlike S/H) so I may just be playing devil's advocate :p

I don't have any siblings so I can't say what I'd do. So maybe I just don't understand enough to say what a brother/sister relationship is like. But hey, neither Musashi nor Kojiro know what it's like either.

What I do understand is what Musashi and Kojiro's relationship is like now. It scarily parallels me and my boyfriend.

You spend your days chasing after a 10 year old boy trying to catch his electric mouse? xD j/k

But yeah, as far as I'm concerned they're definitely on the more romatic route than anything. But I guess I can just about see how you could see it as a brother/sister thing... if you ignored a few more important eps xD

Dude, I know a thing or two about having a very close relationship with your sibling... and Jessie and James' relationship just isn't it. SERIOUSLY. If my sister and I were THAT close, people would start looking at us funny.

Frankly, the writers intentions (as demonstrated by various episodes) don't really match up with the theory at all, on reflection.

Good news, everyone, my brain has fallen into the gutter! And I don't intend to pull it out anytime soon, I'm kind of enjoying this.

So. Time to think of Rocketshippy stuff to draw that fits the criteria. :naughty:

Aww. :-(

I actually can't think of anything at the moment... there also isn't anything worth noting about in the Pokemon Sunday preview. I'm just this bored.
