What is it?
ROGUES GALLERY is a Private Roleplay Hub. Essentially, a pool of players with pre-existing characters from which participants can be drawn to join Private Roleplays pertaining to their own self-invented superheroes and supervillains.

How Does it Work?
Members of the "ROGUES GALLERY" network of Roleplays may choose to have one or two characters with which to participate in roleplays - either one Superhero or Supervillain, one Superhero AND one Supervillain, or two of the same. As each game is established, the GM (myself) will perform a random drawing of one Superhero and one Supervillain to be the Primary Characters in the specified Roleplay. The two players will then be notified of their selection and the Registration process will begin. During this time-period, the Supervillain will formulate their "Plot" - after which they will inform the GM, who will then post the opening post of the Private Roleplay. Also during the Registration process, both Primary Characters will have the opportunity to select up to two sidekicks (heroes), or henchmen (villains), respectively out of the pool of currently available characters (those not already participating in a Roleplay). Alternatively, the player may forfeit their right to sidekicks/henchmen in exchange for a "Turnabout" - a single Superhero to side with the Supervillain, or a particular Supervillain to aid the Superhero, respectively. In the event of a Turnabout, the player enacting the ability must explain in detail how their character managed to convince the chosen individual to switch sides. Also, players may opt out of the sidekick system altogether in favor of working alone.

The winner(s) of a particular roleplay should be agreed upon by all participants, but the GM can step in to issue a ruling if an agreement cannot be made. The primary determinant of victory is whether or not the primary villain's Plot was successful.

Furthermore, there will be certain perks associated with winning a certain number of roleplays, achieving a particular winning-streak, etc.

Official Rules
No 'Godmodding'
Don't give your character 'godlike' abilities, such as dodging every attack or 'by chance' stumbling onto whatever item he/she happens to need at that exact moment.
No 'Powerplaying'
Don't control other players' characters or story elements. This includes 'auto-hits' - stating that an attack was successful (Though Auto-Hits are acceptable in the event of a 'Quick-Strike'). Any physical contact during confrontations should be confirmed by the recipient character's controlling-party.
Refrain From Excessive 'OOC' Comment
'OOC' (Out-of-Character) comments should be kept to a minimum, as they tend to clog up the Roleplay. Try to keep these discussions in the Sign-Up Thread or designated OOC Thread for your particular Roleplay. If you feel your roleplay needs an OOC thread, request one.
Respect Your Fellow Roleplayers
This should go without saying, treat others with the same or greater respect as you would hope to gain from them.
Removing a Character
If you wish to remove one of your characters from the character-listing (to replace them with a new character, for instance) it is strongly suggested, for series continuity, that your character's absence be explained in-character (in a roleplay). This is not strictly required, but greatly appreciated.
Inactivity
If a member of a roleplay has the opportunity to post (i.e. is not the most recent poster in their respective roleplay) for a period of ten days or more (without giving express notice to the GM), they are subject to involuntary forfeit at the GM's discretion. Need to notify me of an absence?
Stalemates
In the event that both Hero and Villain in a roleplay incur some level of "victory," the GM may determine that the event ends in a "Stalemate." In such an event, bother participants are deemed Victorious. Note that Stalemates may only be determined by the GM.
Defection
In the event that a Supporting Character abandons the Primary Hero/Villain (whichever character initially recruited them), effectively joining the opposing side in the conflict, said player forfeits their right to take credit in the Victory of either side, though they still run the risk of sharing in their new ally's Defeat.

Chief
Mouthful of Pi
Real Name: Edgar Night
Alias: Chief
Affinity: Superhero
Citizenship: New York
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Appearance: Appearance: Edgar is pretty average as far as height goes, at 5'11, and weighs 160 pounds. While he's fairly thin, he is somewhat muscular as well. He usually wears his father's police uniform. His hair is long and black, and he has green eyes.
Superpowers: After beating Death at Guitar Hero, he gained insight into his powers. Watching him move, staring into the eyes of death, and living to tell of it changed him. He gained the power of death. He can use it to animate corpses, and even summon dead people (Zombie samurai, skeletal policemen, etc.), provided their spirits are willing to serve.
Talents: After being resurrected, he more or less had to dig his way out of the subway tunnel. This made him extremely resistant to pain and suffocation, and digging through the rocks with his bare hands cut his knuckles. Once they healed, he realized they were as hard as rock. With this knowledge, he decided to learn martial arts to take advantage of this, mostly by playing a lot of Wii games that require moving around. He can punch hard enough to break through stone now. After leaving the subway, he taught himself parkour by jumping from roof to roof so he could better command the undead, and as such is very agile. Also, he's great at chess.
Equipment: A kevlar vest he wears under his clothes, a tazer, and a squad of zombie police officers and security guards willing to help him.
Origin/Backstory:
Ed lived in New York City. He was, from the start, a chess player. Both his parents were enthusiasts, and there were boards in every room of the house. When he wasn't playing video games or watching magical girl anime, he was playing chess. His father was also a police officer, and as such, made an enemy of the beastmen he fought. Ed returned home from school to find his parents taken, and saw a pair of cheetahmen fleeing the scene with them in giant birdcages. Enraged, he took his father's tazer and armored police uniform and tried to take the subway to the zoo, too emotional to realize how dumb he was. Sure enough, the subway collapsed on him.
He would have died. However, Death enjoyed chess a lot. He had been playing since it was made. Ed, on the other hand, had played it since birth, and after a chess match that lasted for days, finally beat him. So he came back to life.
However, he was still in a caved in subway tunnel. For three days, he desperately dug, with no food, water, or light, working his skin raw as he tore at the debris for 76 hours straight. While he dug, he had time to think about death, and realize how to take control of it. He raised undead minions to dig from the other side, and managed to escape, swearing to restore his city and take revenge on the people who had ruined it.
The Cleric

Gender: Male
Age: 27

He has a strong athletic frame which is critical for his superheroing. When he is out in the field, he wears a white trenchcoat, white pants, white boots and a pair of dark black sunglasses to cover his eyes. On his wrists inside his jacket are four springloaded cartridges for ultra-fast reloads.
Superpowers: Improbable Aiming Skills, Super reflexes (he can catch bullets with his barehands), the ability to make pretty much everything into a deadly projectile weapon, super speed and agility.

Origin/Backstory:
Ricky Fowler always believed he was special. He also believed that the world was just waiting for him to take advantage of it.

Born in London, he grew up playing soccer (football there) and he could tell that he was different than the other boys. No one could keep up with him running and he could see things far faster than anyone else. It was like he was playing a whole different game.

When Ricky was eleven, his family moved to the United States and they eventually settled down in San Diego. This was when it was clear that Ricky wasn't a normal boy. When he picked up a baseball for the first time, he could make the ball do things that no one thought possible. When he picked up a football, he could make throws that not even professional quarterbacks could make. He was a genetic freak and everyone knew it.

Unfortunately, this attracted the attention of some less than moral people, who wanted to unlock Ricky's genetic code. At the age of seventeen, a group of men attempted to kidnap Ricky. He managed to kill every single one of the men using two playing cards and a baseball as projectiles. Knowing his family would be in danger if he stayed, he ran away and settled down in Las Vegas. He managed to make a small fortune hustling card players and other gamblers with his projectile weapon skills.

He became the Cleric when he realized that the easiest way to advance his own aims was to be a superhero. By catching criminals, he would make himself famous and get himself the ability to stay out of legal trouble if need be.

His Detective Fate persona wears a black fadora and a black body suit with a faceless mask as well as a black trench coat over top of it. The choice of black is to make him difficult to see at night.
Superpowers: He has the Coin of the Fates, a magical coin that can be flipped once a day to alter the fate of it's user. This means if he's falling to he were in a death trap and unable to escape but flipped the coin, the death trap would malfunction and save him or something to that effect. However, this can only be used once a day, so he reserves it for the most important circumstances.
Talents: Jarrett is intelligent and has a nack for piecing together clues. As he lacks any true superpowers, he also has obtained a black belt in Drunken Fist and learned to utilze nerve holds. He's also practiced gymnastics to aid in moving across town at night.
Equipment: He weilds a cane he can use in battle and which contains a grappling hook to use to repeatedly. His utility belt contains everything he needs to carry out investigations, including magnifying glasses, flashlights, blacklights, test tubes to gather DNA evidence and other such things, and finger print kits.

Jarrett was a normal person who grew up in a long line of detectives, dating back to the great Sherlock Holmes. But he didn't want to follow in his family's footsteps and instead became a fire fighter. He met a woman named Mary and wed her, having a daughter named Amy in the process. They lived a happy life together...that is until the night a gang war broke out in New York, where they lived. Amy, despite Jarrett's best efforts, was killed in the crossfire. Mary soon followed, dying of heartbreak. From that point on, Jarrett swore he wouldn't allow anyone to ever be harmed again if he could help it and took up his family career as a detective. While on a case in Greece, he discovered the Coin of the Fates in some ancient ruins and soon discovered it's power. Training himself in martial arts and gymnastics, he became Detective Fate, and swore to end the gangs in New York. He's often cold and doesn't work with others often, as he still carries self hatred for himself for allowing his family to die on his watch, something he still blames himself for.
The Illusion
-Gray-
Real Name: John Drakkio
Alias: "The Illusion"
Affinity: Somehwat neutral, leaning towards superhero.
Citizenship: American, has some British heritage
Gender: Male
Age: 28, although he can change his age at will.
Appearance: John is about six feet tall, and weighs around a hundred and eighty pounds or so. Of course, he can change his appearance at will, so his height and weight don't make much of a difference. John has short, rather unkempt dark brown hair that always seems to fall over his eyes. He has brown eyes and rather pale skin, as well.
When he's not in disguise performing reconnaissance missions, John wears iron chainmail armor. The armor itself accounts for some of his powers, as it is incredibly lightweight and can withstand almost any sort of non-physical attack. However, when John changes his physical appearance the armor goes away, leaving him exposed if you actually figure out that it's him.

Superpowers: John can manipulate illusions, and can change his physical form and age at will. However, he isn't a shapeshifter, as John cannot, under any circumstances, transform in the literal sense. He simply cloaks himself in shadows that simulate different clothing or physical features.

After many years of practice, John can also condense his illusions into physical form and use them to attack his enemies. Sometimes this is in the form of potions, other times in the form of real weapons.

Equipment: His chainmail, that's really all. The armor has started to become his trademark. Of course, John always has a few poisons up his sleeve, just in case.
Origin/Backstory:
John was born in a small town in Ohio, and lived a somewhat normal life. He was always the shy, nervous kid who was constantly reading a book and always aced his tests, and little people took much notice of him. After all, he had only a few real friends, and therefore hardly anyone knew he existed.

It was around age twelve that his shyness and quiet demeanor began to materialize into something more real. He was at the age when bullies got much harsher than they had been, and John was beginning to wish he was invisible. It was then that he discovered his powers, upon placing an illusion on himself to avoid being noticed by the other kids. Of course, he couldn't hide forever, and whenever John came into view he was picked on.

After graduating high school as valedictorian, John went to college to study most things related to his strange abilities. He discovered nothing about his own powers, but honed his skill at other things that would later come in handy. After graduating from college, John began to roam the world, meeting others with powers like his and sometimes thwarting evil he found. He experimented with sciences that would eventually lead to his chainmail, and worked on perfecting his powers until they were as powerful as he could.

...Until his eleventh birthday, at least. As a present from his older sister, he got a laptop, with the intention of him getting introduced to anime. Soon, he got addicted to the point where every word that came out of his mouth was a term from his favorite anime.

One day a bunch of crooks broke into his house, stole his laptop, and killed the rest of his family. Normally he would have been upset and depressed over the loss of his family, but he was so influenced by the anime addiction, he got the powers of his favorite character. Magnumind
Oblivion
Real Name: Jett Animus
Alias: Magnumind
Affinity: Superhero
Citizenship: American (Currently resides in the city of Kingston, New York)
Gender: Male
Age: 31
Appearance: He has a fair skin complexion, and smoothed, short black hair. His most noticeable physical feature is easily his eyes, due to the irises being a bright white color. He normally covers these up using sunglasses. His outfit primarily consists of a dark gray longcoat, black jeans, boots of a dark brown, and black gloves. He also wears a brown fedora.
Superpowers: He's able to emit projectiles made from neuroelectric energy, which is able to send false messages to the opponent's brain. These messages include, but are not limited to, artificial emotions, sending surges of pain throughout the nerves, and giving them temporary amnesia. Due to the nature of these powers, more lethal effects are usable, but he never uses anything that would take someone's life.
Talents: He's proficient in physical combat, having been self-taught.
Weaknesses: His powers are totally dependent on the aforementioned projectiles actually hitting the opponent, and if the opponent has any kind of mental condition, such as insanity, psychopathy, or blunted affect, some of these powers may not work, or even worse, completely backfire. In the event of a neuroelectric backfire, the effect that was intended for the opponent affects him instead.
Equipment: A staff weapon similar in shape and length to a bō staff, which he can infuse with various effects using his powers.
Origin/Backstory:
Jett Animus was always different. He had his unusual eye color since birth. As he grew older, that particular disorder was one of numerous sources of mockery from his peers. Then, in one particular bullying incident around the age of 13, his assailant's eyes quickly widened in fear, and he ran away, shouting and hollering, completely forgetting about Jett.

That was the first usage of his powers. At first, they were involuntary, only happening when he felt a strong emotion, or any other similarly intense feeling, but over time, he learned to control it. No one would go near him, out of fear of being "mind-jacked". Only his family understood, even if it was only partial, what he was going through, and he appreciated it.

However, even though he was untouched by the less savory people, he had quickly become aware of criminals, wanting to put a stop to their heinous acts, but never doing so, because he didn't want all of the attention. This escalated, until someone decided to attempt to rob their house. He was immediately greeted by Jett, who, now that he had the chance, used his powers to apprehend the robber.

After that point, he quickly became a hero, albeit one who, at first, worked in secret. He always tried to keep a low profile, and never really attempted to make his presence widely known. Nevertheless, it happened on its own, but he grew to enjoy being revered and admired for not only who he was, but the things he did. He isn't a glory hog, but it was definitely a nice change from the life he used to have.
Other: He's quite theatrical, and can be a bit sarcastic at times. Also, he enjoys games of chess, as well as the occasional trivia question or three.

She majored in Journalism at South Back University where she had almost top grades, she knew what she wanted to do and that was to be a journalist. However at the age of twenty five, just when she graduated from University her entire family was killed in an explosion while they were having a family party, only Raven survived after being in a coma for a week. She was furious and wanted vengeance, to know who was responsible for her family and had found some people who seemed to have taken a hand in it.

However Raven has been led to believe someone bigger is behind the attack on her family. At the age of twenty nine she met an intern named Scarlett Luthor, and an cop Sable Blackstone. In a bizarre twisted of events the three had fallen for each other and decided to date getting into a threesome. During this relationship Raven never stopped looking into what really happened to her family, occupied by her girlfriends she hoped she would find out.

Raven also came to discover Sable and Scarlett had a power each, Scarlett's was to seduce any straight man, lesbian or bisexual by kissing them lightly, she never used the power on Sable and Raven of course. Sable's powers was to throw fire from her palm and she had an unusual body temperature higher then most humans, it made Raven's power occasionally go out of whack but the two balanced each other out.

Upon reaching thirty two Sable was shot by a criminal and didn't make it leaving Scarlett and Raven to mourn her death, when Raven attempted to find the criminal Scarlett pleaded her not to and let the cops handle it so she let it go. Once she became thirty four Raven lost Scarlett to a mysterious figure who had an ability just like them. Knowing that Sable's and Scarlett's deaths had to be connected to her own family's demise she climbed the ladder of the Journalism career in order to use the paper so she could find out who's responsible. And with a city going to hell Raven finally used her power for good, placing a costume on to stop any criminals and referred to her alias as The Masked Scarlett, due to a inside joke Scarlett had told her days before her untimely death when they spoke of using their powers to be superheroes and having alias.
Mega Neko
Tamaki
Real Name: Eliot Nadel
Alias: Mega Neko
Affinity: Superhero
Citizenship: Pacific islander
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Appearance: At exactly six feet two, Eliot's about average height. He has fairly long blue hair, mostly because he hates the barber's shop (He's worried about getting his ears chopped off.) He usually dresses in formal styles, usually wearing a tuxedo vest, button up shirt, tie, slacks, and dress shoes, and has peach-colored skin. He always wears a pair of pink heart-shaped sunglasses, and has uncommonly large blue eyebrows.
Superpowers: He can summon lots of cats of most any kind from his suitcase: Longat, ceiling cat, nyan cat, monorail cat, siamese, Maine coone, linguine, zucchinni, bikini, any kind. He can also talk to them and give them orders. They feel no pain, and cannot die, instead simply respawning on the moon to be summoned again. To summon them, he draws a smiley face on any surface, at which point he can, at any time, turn it into a portal, out of which he can summon as many cats as he can fit inside a 5X5X5 cube at any time, provided he drew the portal big enough. Also, he is incredibly durable, due to having had his bones replaced with those of the hero Sigfried while he was asleep by Freya and her valkyries.
Talents: Freya trained him night and day for combat, so he is very strong and fast. Not as strong or fast as someone with supernatural strength or speed, but still able to outrun or outlift most people.
Equipment: His magic guitar, Heilløx*, forged from the metal of the sword Gram, wielded by the hero Siegfried. It's well balanced, light, and, despite having a seemingly blunt edge, it's actually very sharp, so he usually uses it like an axe, or so to speak. He also has his pet ferret, Ferret Joe, to help him, though he mostly sleeps in Eliot's pocket. Also, his sunglasses let him and anyone else who wears them communicate with Freya herself.
Origin/Backstory:
Eliot's parents were astronauts who lived on an island in the Pacific, near a volcano. When it erupted, they sent him up in the family spaceship, because with his Aunt Freya and pet ferret, Ferret Joe, there wasn't enough room. They landed on the moon, where his Aunt Freya revealed she wasn't his aunt at all, but had killed his aunt and taken her place because she was bored. She decided that since she didn't have anything better to do, she'd keep Eliot on the moon until he learned to command her army of Valkyries. Since not many people worshipped her, she had to downsize her army, which meant that all her Valkyries had to turn into cats. So for 15 years, Freya trained Eliot, teaching him about how to command armies of magical psychopomp angel kitties. When he mastered it, she sent him back to earth to get her more worshippers. Eliot decided the best way to do this would be to do good in her name. As such, he created his Mega Neko persona. Since he didn't have any loved ones left on earth, he saw no need to hide his identity much, so he only wears a false mustache when fighting crime in case he makes some friends.

*Loosely translates to "Cool axe."

He had been working on an experiment which consisted of crossing two different DNA strands and had been experimenting with it to try and see if he could ever possibly make a cross hybrid human. One day he had done it, he had been testing out different animals that could ever possibly be crossed with a human and he found that birds were easily done. He especially noticed it was easiest in a rare species of black hawk. He was able to take a strand of his own DNA and a strand of the bird's and combine them. It was then time to put it to the test. Using the new DNA and a chemical compound that would copy the new DNA and do the same to all the other DNA in a human's body, he decided to "have a son". He injected the serum into a fetus and had it implanted in his wife, to which they both agreed seeing as they had always wanted a child. They waited, and Devon was born.

At first he looked like a normal baby, which made the project seem like a failure. But soon, after a few months they noticed little wings starting to emerge from his back. They then ran a test and saw Devon could see and hear far better then any other human. The Government got word of this and imidiatly decided to move the project into the Pentagon. So for a while Devon grew up in Washington DC until the government saw no need for the project, seeing as the last tests had come up unsuccessful. Devon and his family moved to Boston, where he grew-up as a normal child, hiding his gifts. Then one day, when he was in highschool, he was walking down the hallway and suddenly his wings emerged from his back. He was then all over the cover of every piece of media there was. His family was getting harassed and was a tabloid victim. One day though, after he had graduated college and moved out, his father went missing and his mother.....murdered. Devon didnt know what to do at first, but then one day it hit him and for some reason he wished he thought of it sooner. He had a lot of money from the government and his parent's will and insurance so he went out and bought the tools he would need to become a hero, to avenge his mother and find his father.

*Pathos
Renewal
Real Name: Lucretia Sinclair
Alias: Pathos
Affinity: Superhero
Citizenship: Manhattan, New York
Gender: Female
Age: 23
Appearance: Lucretia has long, fiery red hair, with plain brown eyes. Tall at 5'10", Lucretia is very pale and skinny from lack of outdoor activity, choosing to remain indoors during the day. Her superhero outfit consists of a light, charcoal grey suit of body armor, a simple, white long coat, a black scarf wrapped around the lower half of her face, and a featureless mask, colored white on the right half and black on the left, that covers her entire face, save her eyes.
Superpowers: Perception of relationships as tangible 'threads' and the power to manipulate them, effectively making Lucretia an empath. Her power manifests as a glow in her irises. Stronger, more obvious relationships are easily seen and easier to manipulate. Passively, she can only see a handful of these strong threads at a time; however, she can actively draw on her power and see more and more relationships of various strengths. Doing so strains her sight, and if pushed too far, might temporarily blind her. Lastly, her manipulations are temporary, and last longer on weaker relationships; thus, she faces a tradeoff between ease of manipulation and the length of her manipulations' effect.
Talents: Intelligent and very well-educated; moderately quick and agile; a solid understanding of basic fighting styles, though nothing outstanding; carefully trained hearing, to compensate for her temporary bouts of blindness; skilled at handling knives
Equipment: Her armor, which is constantly being improved whenever some new flaw is revealed; various knives and daggers, though she never carries more than four on her person at any one time
Origin/Backstory:
Lucretia comes from a wealthy, influential family. Born and bred in privilege, Lucretia always had the sense she was destined for great things; manifesting her powers merely confirmed it. A precocious child, Lucretia used her powers to control everyone around her, bluntly altering the relationships they had with her to utter subservience. Neither her family's servants nor even her parents could refuse a girl who, in their eyes, was sweeter and dearer to them than life itself.

Her childhood and early teenage years passed as such, with her area of control growing wider and wider. In school, classmates and teachers alike became her playthings; when she reached puberty, so did the boys who caught her eye. As she grew older, Lucreetia became more and more arrogant, increasingly feeling as if she were entitled to all the world itself.

All that changed when she turned sixteen, and truly fell in love for the first time, with a boy who had proved resistant to her powers. Though she was initially attracted by his good looks, the challenge he presented intrigued her, and she began trying to earn his affections via more usual methods: scheming, plotting, blackmail, etc. For two years, she worked without her powers to earn that boy's love. And in doing so, Lucretia slowly realized the nature of her actions.

Just before turning eighteen, Lucretia had already relinquished all control over everyone she knew, feeling immense guilt and horror. Along the way, she had finally entered a relationship with that boy. The day after her eighteenth birthday, she learned exactly why he was so unaffected by her powers: he was a true psychopath, with no meaningful emotions or relationships that she could manipulate. On that night, he attempted to rape her. Lucretia saved herself by unleashing all of her power, unusually potent after long disuse, and forcibly joined all the threads the boy lacked to him. The shock and emotional overload killed him, and Lucretia was blinded for the first time.

Her eyesight returned, after much reflection on Lucretia's part. She decided to assume the mantle of hero, and swore to never give up protecting others, to defend them from similar fates, and as an eternal penance for her terrible actions as a child. However, she has sworn off active use of her power after her gross abuse of them, only using them to passively sense others' emotions.

Superpowers: He able to Levitate objects such as roadblocks, cars, bikes, and even trucks(only with great efforts) to smites his enemy.
He also could grow an elegant, white pegasus wings on his back and fly.

Talents: his grades in school was really awesome and his intelligence is above normal, but he terribly bad at sports and other sweaty word, luckily he got the ability to levitate things.
N is also quite manipulative and good with twisting words to hurt people's feelings.
Quite experienced with guns.

Equipments: -. his phone(this is not just an ordinary phone you'll see on the store. This is a custom made phone he made himself. This phone is mainly used for calling help, maps, and blinding his enemies by the intense flash of his camera)
-. a Desert Eagle gun he keep on inside his tuxedo.
-. Rose. (Not an ordinary rose. This rose has a secret small button on the leaf, that if N push it, the rose will shoots a sleeping gas.) He calls this rose as "The Forbidden Rose"

Origin/Backstory:
N is a boy who had a really difficult past. He got a trouble with his cold father, and the rest of his family except his mother.
His grandmother hates him because she think he's not a 'True' Norstein family, since he's half japanese, like his mother. The only person that love him in the family is his mother and his maid, Leann.
He tried his best to stay away from his family, so he goes to Japan to study there. He had studied there for 3 years, and made some really good friends over there.
Until... A bad news came from his family in Austria. His mother had died on a terrible plane crash accident when he's going to visit him in Japan.
Later, he found out that this accident is not an accident. This is caused by a Terrorist that tries to Hijack the Plane.
This, of course threw N into a blinding rage. Because of his rage, he soon discovered his powers about how he could levitate things and grows a pegasus wings.
With this, he vowed to banish all evil from the world.
Personality:
What’s prominent about N’s personality is that he’s a snotty brat. He doesn't like doing heavy legwork unless it’s absolutely necessary; preferably, he enjoys others doing such duties for him. He also loves teasing people by twisting words, but at the same time he can twist words so bad that he can hurt someone quite badly with them. He has an air of arrogance around him, and it isn’t entirely unjustifiable. N is confident in everything he does, and doesn’t normally second-guess himself. He’s powerful even if he neither looks nor acts like it.
However, beneath all of the arrogance is an extremely intelligent and wise character. He’s perceptive and aware of the people around him. Living for as long as he has, N has seen many types of people, from the bad to the good. Yet he has seen more people with bad qualities than he has good qualities, and not many of them change. he has a cynical attitude toward people and their ability.
N is not the most honest person anyone will ever meet. At best, he tells partial truths, but for the most part he lies. He’s convincing as an actor and liar, and it’s hard to tell what he’s thinking. N’s signs are subtle, and the only person who can really read him is his mother, because of the bond they share. He appears to be indifferent to others and their pain. Yet once someone manages to worm their way into his heart, N will care, but he hides it deep within himself. N doesn’t have anything in the way of friendship, other than his tie his mother.
He can be manipulative, and likes to play games with everyone. It doesn’t matter who it is, but N does come off as someone who treats everything like a game. Though true to a certain extent, he has an underlying maturity in him. It’s hard to take N by surprise as despite the laid-back attitude, he’s a cautious individual. He has rarely seen someone express kindness just for the sake of being kind.
N is also unbiased and prefers to be in the shades of grey. He judges people with fairness, and leaves out as much bias as he can. His actions can be questionable at best, and they sometimes make him seem like a selfish character. However, N takes responsibility for all of what he does, even if the motive isn’t quite clear. He doesn’t care what people think of him as he knows exactly what he did, and has calculated the consequences of his actions.
There are times in which he can be a downright jerk, but this is a more calculated side of him. Though normally subtle, he understands that there are times he needs to be blunt and forthright. Sometimes, it’s to push someone to see the bigger picture or to force the truth out from the dark and into the light. N is also calm and patient, perhaps extremely so. He's rarely seen annoyed or angry, and while certainly philosophical, he's also logical.

Citizenship: Alaska
Gender: Male

Superpowers: Sakak is a shapeshifting nature spirit, but any form he assumes retains his red eyes. He's also capable of warping reality, but cannot effect free will or directly effect someone except as a form of karmic retribution for doing bad things. If he's inflicting said karmic retribution, he's capable of turning people into animals and back again, or if someone willingly allows them to do so. As a spirit, he's also immortal, but not invunerable and is as easy to harm as any other being, only he'll be able to recover from wounds that would be fatal to mortals. He's also incapable of killing a mortal on purpose, but that hasn't stoped his pranks from getting out of hand and accidentally doing it.
Talents: He's a trickster with a cunning mind and is difficult to outwhit

Equipment: None
Origin/Backstory:
Sakak is the embodyment of mischief whose existed as long as mischief has. He's traveled the world, playing pranks and generally spredding chaos wherever he goes. While most of his jokes are harmless in the long term, he has been known to get carried away, being personally responsible for accidentally causing the Black Plague (released a rat to scare a human, unknowing it carried the plague) and the Ice Age (pulled a prank on the sun spirit and it went horribly wrong, knocking him out for a few thousand years). For these...accidents, Sakak was sealed away inside an inuit totem for centuries. This has left him rather...furious with the world in general, as in his mind his imprisonment was not warrented. However, sometimes the other spirits set him free to carry out retribution on mortals they view as deserving his...attention, during which he gladly does everything in his power to make said person miserable. If accidentally unleashed, he typically spreads chaos all over the place and is a serious nuicence and freeing him out of the belief he'll serve you is generally a bad idea. When set free, he can be sealed away by creating a wolf totem out of a freshly cut tree and placing it on him or tricking him into putting it on.

Sakak was kind of inspired by the Monkey King from Jackie Chan Adventures. He's a physical god, but is not invincible and there's a way to defeat him that's relatively easy...if you can outwhit him.

Citizenship: Somewhere in Alaska, but resides in NYC.
Gender: Female
Age: 17

Origin/Backstory:
Castelia was born in a small, crowded log cabin in Alaska, surrounded by her four brothers, three sisters, her parents and grandparents. Everyone lived in close quarters. Everyday at noon, someone in the family would have to fetch firewood, as that was when the air was warmest. Sometimes they would never return due to a grizzly bear attack, or falling into an ice-covered river. The winters were the worst. There was hardly any food. Of course, they could go ice fishing, but normally the bears got to the meal first. Castelia was tiny. She was always tiny. Her family knew that she wouldn't live much longer without food. But, Castelia stayed strong. When sumer came, plants and animals were ubondant(?) which meant it was time for gathering and hunting.

One night, a towering pine tree in the Alaskan bush was struck by lightning. It ignited, and the fire spread, all the way to the Alor's log cabin. It went up in flames, and everyone evacuated. Now with no home, they had to trek over the mountains, to Anchorage. Of course, the elders were first to go. Gramma and Granpa were gone. Everyone else had frost bite. Six days later, the state's capital began to appear over the horizon. Castelia's parents both died. Now, it was only her, and two of her siblings. The others starved to death. That night, Castelia cried herself to sleep. A pack of wolves attacked their small camp. Castelia fought them off with her new found powers, after being hit by a lightning strike and was unharmed, as she watched her oldest brother get mauled. Then, she grabbed her youngest siter by the arm, and ran off into the night.

The two were smuggled on to a plane to New York City, by a man known as Alex Jackson once they got to Anchorage, and that's where they now reside.

Supervillains
Alternate
Corruption
Real Name: Invidia Delavado
Alias: Alternate
Affinity: Supervillain
Citizenship: Spanish
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Appearance: Invidia, first and foremost, is average. Average length hair, average colour eyes, average height - she is completely uninteresting, in essence. This also makes her completely unoticeable, when she wants to be. Inficio possess a light-ish brown hair, and dark brown eyes, along with a fairly tanned complexion. She has freckles and a positively inviting air about her - one that is often decieving. She tends to wear fairly normal clothing - a hoodie, t-shirt and jeans make up her normal attire, although when she is doign her less justifiable work she tends to don a trench coat to disguise her appearance somewhat.
Superpowers: Adaptability - Invidia can adapt to her current situation, the landscape around her and the climate through supernatural means. For instance, if she were in an incredibly cold continent her body would likely develop a thicker outer layer of skin as means of keeping her warm. It could also give her the ability to produce fire for a short while, or the ability to change the temperature around her or the weather. If she was in a life-threatening position where her opponent literally had their gun to her head she could develop the ability to teleport, to momentarily possess her opponents body, the ability to pause time for those around her, the ability to produce forcefields or manipulate metal or any number of different abilities. However there is a price for this adaptability; firstly she is not conciously in control of her powers - they are tempermental and activate at random times, secondly because they are changing so often she never learns to what extent she can use these powers, or how to us them to the best of her ability, often resulting her hurting herself in the process of trying to use them and lastly she tends to only be able to use one 'power' at a time, along with the ability to use the power often being only momentary at best.
Talents: Adaptability, a strategic mind, her quick-wittedness, speed and resourcefullness.
Equipment: A modified Avestrucera, with the weights being made of an incredibly durable metal and the 'string' instead very flexible cords of metal. Often uses them as 'clackers' for her own amusement. Usually used as a slunshot or a garrote.
Hard-wearing boots, the tend to muffle her footsteps.
A grappling hook, occasionally used as an improvised weapon.

Origin/Backstory:
Invidia had always been average. Plain and boring, easily overlooked; she was always just there, in the back of the room - not quite involved, not quite ignored. It was probably a side affect of her 'power' (more like a curse, in her eyes) - she adapted to situations like a fish to water, to an extent it felt like she just belonged there - which often translated to hr being ignored. She lingered at the edges for most of her life. When she was 13 she began to tire of it all - she wanted to be recognised, to be someone important. Of course merely wishing for things never did any good. At 14 she changed her name from Sarah to Invidia - Latin for envy - in a silent mockery of herself. From the age of 14 until she was 16 Invidia tried her hardest to become noticeable, but to no apparent avail. As her inward desire to become something other than average grew so did her hatred for those around her. On her 17th birthday she decided that if no-one was going to recognise her then she would have to make them, deciding to pursue a life of sort-of crime. At first it was petty thieveries; but, again, she was never noticed. Eventually, after partaking in criminal acts for about half a year in her efforts to be recognised she began to enjoy it, her crimes becoming slowly more violent, more dangerous. And people began to notice her.

Suffice to say this did nothing to dissuade her from her efforts.
Amarok
Godzillawolf
Real Name: Mako Trenten
Alias: Amarok
Affinity: Supervillain
Citizenship: Nome, Alaska
Gender: Male
Age: Looks around 25, but is actually 111 years old.
Appearance: Mako wears a red shirt with a black leather jacket and blue jeans. He has black hair and red eyes. He looks relatively handsome and calm. His werewolf form is a humanoid, muscular wolf with razor sharp claws and yellow eyes. His fur is black and his pure wolf form is pitch black with red eyes.
Superpowers: Mako is immortal and can regenerate from most wounds faster than a human. He's not invulnerable and can be hurt in human and wolf forms like nearly anyone else, however. His human form is slightly stronger, faster, and has heightened endurence, as well as somewhat more powerful senses. His werewolf form has superstrength, razor sharp claws and teeth, and animalistic agility, as well as animal like senses and heightened durability. The closer to the full moon, the more powerful he becomes and is at his weakest on New Moon, being incapable of transforming. He can only become his pure werewolf form at night, but can turn into his wolf form at any time. His wolf form is escentually a larger wolf, that's it. He can be killed by silver weapons, which neutralize his immortality and will damage him just like a normal person, or beheading him, and is violently allergic to Wolf's Bane and Mountain Ash and cannot come near it. He's incapable of transmitting the werewolf curse except on the full moon when it can be transmitted via his bite, and even then, the victim may cure themselves by putting silver on the wound or killing Mako before the next full moon, after which it's irreversable. In all forms, he can speak to animals.
Talents: Mako is intelligent and careful in his planning. He's also a master with various types of whips and can effectively use them in combat. He's also a master of torture, having "perfected" his craft over his 111 years of life. He also has knowledge of pressure points.
Equipment: A multitude of specialized whips and a torture ceiler in his basement. He also keeps attack dogs on hand at all times. He also has a motorcycle which he takes great care of.
Origin/Backstory:
Born in Nome, Alaska over a century ago, Mako is a sociopath with no concern for human life. He often did dog fighting in his spare time, taking a sadistic joy in torturing them to break their spirits if he couldn't use them for fighting. However, eventually the cops caught up with him and he fled into the Alaskan Wilderness. There, he was attacked and bitten on the full moon by a werewolf, getting the curse. Finding out the truth of it, he decided to use it to take his vengeance on the police who busted his dog fighting ring, killing them all. He then proceeded to move on to various forms of crime, occasionally induldging in serial murder. He's done hundreds of crimes throughout his century of existence, and intends to continue.

Mako has a habit of using his immortality, a fact not everyone knows, to his advantage by faking his death and is intelligent. His most dangerous aspect is the rather low key crimes his favors. As opposed to high profile crimes commited by most criminals, his crimes are relatively mundane. Thus when someone comes to apprehend him, they're often taken offguard by his superhuman abilities. Mako is a dangerous and sadistic psychopath who is cunning and manipulative, normally keeping an aura of calm at most times. However, his sociopathic nature renders him unable to truly understand compassion and other such things, a fact which can cause his downfall and often causes him to overlook the motivations of his opponents. He also does not handle nearing defeat very well and will normally lose his cool completely at these times. He's also cocky and overconfedient at times, due to his long run of success over his life time.

The police found her the next morning, in the alleyway, surrounded by the corpses of the gangmembers, gently sleeping. Her face was covered in the enemies' blood. She was taken away to Juvenile Hall, for want of a better place to put her. 3 hours later, she left the country, concealed on a plane bound for London. Her psychological profile had confirmed she had been driven mad, but Interpol were unable to track her down, even after an anonymous tip-off that she had entered London. One agent found her, after a year of searching. He was found in Interpol Central HQ at his desk, propped to sit normally, with a massive katana wound in his chest. She'd kissed the corpse on the cheek before leaving...
Commander M.

Glitchipedia
Real Name: Miles Witherflame
Alias: Commander M.
Affinity: Supervillain
Citizenship: None
Gender: Technically none, but has a masculine mentality
Age: Uncertain
Appearance: A tall humanoid with a seemingly muscular build and an eerie quality that makes him look as if he is made entirely of shadow or black smoke. He has no ears and no face, apart from a pair of glowing red eyes. Due to lacking certain physical attributes, he sees no need to wear clothing.
Superpowers: Possesses superhuman reflexes; possesses superhuman strength; can duplicate any inanimate object at will from up to sixty feet away; can fly without assistance; if wounded, can heal almost instantly, making him nigh impossible to kill
Talents: Fast learner, able to pick up new techniques as soon as he sees them demonstrated, provided they aren't superpowers
Weaknesses: Can be stunned by firing a common laser pointer into his eyes—a prolonged beam can keep him dormant for extended periods of time, making it possible to imprison him; can be disintegrated by magnified sunlight or Icira's superlaser; rapidly exhausted by near-instant healing; temporarily shrinks in saltwater, neutralizing his powers (except rapid healing) in the process—takes the remainder of the plot to recover
Equipment: The Goon Platoon; anything he happens to find lying around
Origin/Backstory:
Having already done countless genetic experiments with her trademark Faceless Goons in an effort to perfect her cloning techniques, Icira Witherflame was finally prepared to give them a new, strong commander so she could devote more time to scheming. Initially conceiving her idea as a variation on the existing Goon design with the attributes of the glitch Pokémon Missingno., she labored for many months, losing subject after subject, before coming up with her final product.

As her first truly sentient creation, Icira affectionately christened him "Miles Witherflame", as though he were her own son. But in an effort to dehumanize him in the eyes of the general public, thereby making him something to be feared, she never allowed him to refer to himself by that name, always insisting that he go simply by "M.". After training him to understand and control his powers, she bestowed upon him the title of Commander, placing him in charge of the newly organized "Goon Platoon".

Commander M. shows signs of humanity only when alone with Icira, whom he rightly sees as his mother figure. At all other times, he becomes a heartless, soulless creature with only one goal: lead his troops to victory at all costs. He has been taught never to "play with his food" as Icira is known to do, but instead to simply plow through opposition like so much snow. His sole motivation seems to be his unending devotion to Icira and anyone she claims to trust.

Citizenship: American, of French descent. Pretends to speak French to impress women.
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Appearance: http://www.cosplayisland.co.uk/files/costumes/2425/47062/tumblr_ljyb2eWh2d1qee6of.jpg
Usually wears nice suits that he steals when he's not being a villain.
Superpowers: None.
Talents: He's incredibly good at math, and knows lots of sciencey stuff. His skill at physics is so good, that assuming he knows most of the factors, he can predict the exact movement of an object in less than a second. So, provided he knows stuff like wind speed and what kind of bullets the opponent is using, he can dodge bullets fairly easily, and has excellent marksmanship. He specializes in energy based technologies, such as lasers and flamethrowers, though he dabbles in most other fields. He also plays volleyball in his spare time to keep in shape, so while not amazing as far as physical fitness goes, is definitely above average.
Equipment: He has a suit he wears that allows him to turn invisible. He can pull the collar over most of his face to disguise his identity, and it's made of a special material that absorbs force fairly well, and, if he flexes his muscles just right, allows him to adhere to most surfaces. He also carries around grenades, each one translucent and about the size of a ping-pong ball. He has a pair of contacts that make his eyes look like white orbs with red rings instead of pupils, but they also allow him to control when his grenades explode. By winking, he can explode all of them at will. Otherwise, he can set them to explode on impact. He has two types: Plasma grenades which ionize the air around them on detonation, essentially turning it into lightning, or stun grenades, which release a gas, that, when breathed in, paralyzes the subject for about 30 seconds. Both varieties stick to most surfaces unless he sets them to explode on impact.
Origin/Backstory:

This got him addicted to video games, so he dropped out of college to compete in video game tournaments. He won a few, then invested all his money in a hugely successful company, and lived off of the stocks, using his prowess at math to buy and sell them extremely efficiently. This was all changed when the company headquarters were hit with a meteor. His stock values plummeted, and he lost all his money. Depressed, he decided to turn to a life of crime to restore his old fortune.

Origin/Backstory:
Empress Tyrania is an ancient evil that predates civilization. In ancient times she was worshipped as a deity by ancient peoples, but reigned over them as a tyrant with an iron fist. That is until a brave group managed to trick her into swollowing a powerful explosive, killing her. They then hacked her body into pieces and hid the pieces all over.

However, Tyrania's evil spirit remained, and eventually found a host. For centuries, she's moved from body to body, her ultimate goal being to locate the pieces of her body and reconstruct it or simply trick others into crafting a new one so she can be reborn in the modern day. However, he short term goals usually resolve around gaining power and control, as well as stating her very long sadistic streek. She's not above enslaving others to do her bidding, and throughtout history has done so numorious times.

Tyrania is a coldblooded sadist and loves to torture others as cruely as she can. She's also incredibly vain, and loves being worshiped as a god. Despite her cunning, her vanity and love of "playing with her food" can be to her detrament. She has a perpetually cheery personality, which makes her love of sadistic acts all the more disturbing. At her current state, she's a powerful force, but if she ever managed to reassemble her true form, she'd become nigh-invunerable. As such, while other villains may be willing to aid her in short term plans, only the most disturbed would dare help her ressurect her true form.

Idea with Tyrania is kind of like Him from the Powerpuff Girls, a powerful and sadistic foe representing pure, unrelenting evil. She is a complete monster with no remorse, who if she truly succeeded could spell disaster for all.

Icira Witherflame
Glitchipedia
Real Name: Icira Witherflame
Alias: N/A
Affinity: Supervillain....usually.
Citizenship: A fictional country somewhere between Japan and California
Gender: Female
Age: 41
Appearance:
  • True Body: Old and worn-out. Her skin is pale and wrinkled, and what little hair she has left is white. The entire left side of her body is made up of cybernetic enhancements with no unusual functions.
  • Type-1 Avatars: These resemble Icira at age 29. When inhabiting these bodies, she's actually fairly attractive—she is tall, lean, pale and slightly muscular with shoulder-length ginger hair and green eyes. She has a thing for tight leather bodysuits.
  • Type-2 Avatars: Can literally look like anyone, provided she has the person's DNA on file.
Superpowers: Technically none.
Talents: Scientifically gifted; dangerously genre savvy
Equipment: Secret laboratory hidden deep beneath the earth, where she can actively develop new equipment as the plot requires; any number of science fiction films from which to steal ideas; a number of false bodies (affectionately nicknamed "avatars" after the James Cameron film); substantial wealth.
Origin/Backstory:
Icira Witherflame, designation HCX001, was the result of a human cloning experiment and the immediate predecessor of Knight Pokémon University's Colin Sonan. Seeing herself as an abomination, she came to a bizarre decision: if she was going to Hell, she wanted to have as much fun as she could on the way.

Believed by her creator to be dead after she apparently went berserk and destroyed his laboratory, she was on the run for many years, steadily taking down the rest of the Sinnoh Inquisition and stealing whatever technology she could get her hands on. She wasn't always successful—her missing left side can attest to that.

She kept one hidden lab for herself in order to have a base of operations. She started doing research on classic villain clichés, and dedicated the rest of her "career", if you will, to mocking them. To protect herself from dying out in the field, she started cloning false bodies, or "avatars" to take damage for her. When an avatar dies, Icira herself lives and can simply inhabit another false body. Furthermore, by collecting another individual's DNA and mixing it with just enough of her own so that the neural pathways align, she can assume the appearance of just about anybody, making it very difficult to find her.

The remote controlled nature of the devices has one severe drawback, however: the necessary intensity of the radio waves is so great that it caused Icira to develop a form of cancer. So while she effectively cannot die on the battlefield, she will eventually succumb to her illness, and should her laboratory be discovered and her true body found, she will be unable to defend herself against an attacker.

Having sold a number of her stolen technologies on the black market, she has accumulated a substantial amount of money. What she cannot create or steal, she is likely to buy. What she cannot use, she is likely to sell. She always deals in cold hard cash—checks and credit cards are a big no-no with her.

Appearance: Michael is tall, intense looking, and rather plain look. He has blue eyes and short, brown hair. He wears a much bulkier, black version of the New Alcatraz prison guard uniform with a golden visor and wears chains over top of it.
Superpowers: None
Talents: Master strategist, very skilled at creating traps and other snares. Military trained and combat capable. He’s a very intelligent and dangerous man.

He also comes with net guns loaded into the armor of his wrists. He’s got several scattered underground basis he’s filled with traps and other such challenges for his “prey”.
Origin/Backstory:
Michael was formally a soldier from a very successful family working at New Alcatraz and was generally just a normal human being who wanted to do his part helping contain super criminals, that is until the escapes began. He was obsessive in his work ethic, and a frequent reminder to those on duty of the rules, and took those rules being broken very harshly. He was badly wounded in Fever’s escape and the mass outbreak it caused, taking a bullet to the head but recovered. However, many of his friends on the guard weren’t so lucky, and learning that some of those on guard‘s failure to follow proper procedure resulted in the mass outbreak, along with some actively helping the class 3 inmate Empress Tyrania escape drove him further over the edge. Seeing the destruction that resulted from the failure of the prison’s staff combined with his obsession with the rules of the prison, which made him already mentally unstable, and the brain damage resulting from his head wound drove Michael insane. Michael is gone and where once was a normal, everyday human is now a vicious maniac. Michael spent a large deal of his inheritance building his suit of armor and various “hunting grounds”, preparing to do what New Alcatraz failed to do, contain and put and end to the super criminals wondering the city, permanently. He does this by capturing other criminals and placing them in his booby-trap filled lairs to hunt down like animals.

Michael is cunning, skilled, and vicious, no longer knowing no mercy. He’s meticulous in every aspect and often taunts his “prey” as he hunts them. He feels criminals are beasts, animals with no rights any longer, and thus treats this murderous campaign of his like a hunt. He’s already killed off quite a few of the low level 1 inmates who escaped along with Fever along with general criminals, and is itching to try his hand at hunting some real prey.

Weaknesses: While he isn't harmed by light, they do severely limit his powers. Holy objects and artifacts, however, are the one thing that can kill him quite easily.
Equipment: He has a londsword that he enchanted himself, an ebony blade with a skull at the very base of the hilt, and he almost always travels with his companion, a bat named Azazel that he gave human-level intelligence. While Azazel isn't helpful in the way of combat, Lucifer normally uses him for surveillance and reconnaissance purposes.
Origin/Backstory:
Gerald Amsel was born into a family that strongly believed in the Christian faith. Early in his childhood, during one particular sermon, the priest was telling of the story of Lucifer, an angel who had fallen from Heaven, because he had sided with the Devil. Gerald took particular interest in that story.

After the sermon, he spoke with his parents. "Why do you think Lucifer decided to join the Devil?" Gerald asked as innocently as he could.

"Because, even though he was an angel, he had an evil heart," his father answered simply.

But that simple response wasn't enough for Gerald. The stories of demons had intrigued him for years. He wanted, no, he needed to know more. He began researching as many stories telling of their tales. Soon, it was all he did. He stopped attending school, he stopped attending the sermons, he rarely even left his room.

His parents understandably became concerned. One day, they decided to confront him. They went into his room, only to be absolutely horrified by what they saw. Various facsimiles of unholy artifacts adorned the room, pentagrams were all over, some furniture had been burnt, and Gerald was found sitting on the ground, chanting what seemed to be gibberish. His eyes were blank. He sat rigid. It took him a couple of minutes to notice his parent's presence.

"What is the meaning of this?" his father shouted, absolutely stunned. "This...this is a disgrace!"

Gerald stood, facing his parents. "It is no disgrace. It is truth," he said in a horridly ragged voice. "Who you consider to be God, the holy savior of mankind, is nothing more than a hypocritical tyrant."

His parents were speechless. How could this have happened?

"I have spoken with him. I have spoken with who you consider to be the Devil, but who I consider to be my savior." As Gerald spoke, he began to change. His voice became deeper, even more scratchy. His pupils and irises slowly began shrinking, until they disappeared entirely. And the pentagrams that covered the room began glowing.

"Gerald..." his mother started, but Gerald cut her off.

"I am not Gerald. That child is dead. My name is Lucifer."

No one knows what exactly happened next, but investigators found the horribly charred bodies of Gerald's parents, and some witnesses reported a winged figure bursting out of the window. No matter how hard they looked, no one could find any trace of Gerald Amsel.

Origin/Backstory:
Through a long series of tragic personal events, including the betrayal of his childhood friend, loss of his lover, and the failure of the court system to avenge the untimely murder of his parents, Troy Foster learned the only person in this world he could trust was himself; and even that may be suspect. Overcome by grief and depression, Troy attempted to commit suicide at the age of 19, in the most spectacular way he could imagine - climbing over the fencing at the Saint Louis Zoo and hurling himself down into the Black Panther enclosure. Before zoo officials could retrieve him, the panthers mauled him and, apparently, drug his corpse away to consume. His body was never recovered, and Troy was presumed dead.

Troy survived this event, through a mysterious series of circumstances even he can't fully recall, but one thing was certain: Troy Foster was forever changed. Bitter with a self-centered, treachorous world, Troy turned to an ever-escalating life of crime, eventually taking on the masked identity of the Prowler, giving homage to the event which remade him into the man he is today.

Prowler is primarily a high-profile thief, targeting corrupt banks and financial institutions at his own discretion, and in a particularly unique twist, always destroys his ill-gotten goods, leaving police and investigators at a loss as to his true motives.

As a living testament to the corruption and treachory of mankind, Prowler trusts no one, not even himself, and his ultimate goal is to expose the utter depravity of mankind to the world. As a result, the apparent self-righteousness of superheroes makes such masked crusaders natural targets for the Prowler. He will not rest until the whole world can see that we are all alone, and no one is incorruptible.

Origin/Backstory:
Raven came from a relatively privileged background, and grew up with his mother, and twin sister, Robin in the suburbs of L.A. Both he and his sister developed a love for the courts, and from the age of ten quickly began pursuing their dream of becoming lawyers; robin would defend the innocent, raven would send down the guilty. They both passed the bar exam the same day, which was to them the happiest day of their lives. While they had both taken separate paths in the field of law, they still respected one another, and both knew that the other would succeed in their chosen path, and fight for justice to be served. At the time, Robin decided that it wouldn't be right if they faced one another in court for fear personal feelings could cloud their judgment, but Raven dismissed her concerns, and just hugged her. They also decided to try not end up involved in a case the other was working on. It was.. Unfortunate how fate decided otherwise, as he later caught wind of how his sister was secretly investigating the case known as the "DL6 incident" a few months later.

She had believed that there was far more to that case than met the eye, and had a hunch that the legendary prosecutor Manfred Von Karma was the guilty party, and sought to find evidence to back up her claim, so she began making "visits" to her little brother at the Prosecutors Office, and trying to have "chats" with a few detectives who went in and out of the evidence room. That could have slipped under the radar, but there was a problem, and the problem was this; Manfred Von Karma was a legend… for all the wrong reasons. For many years, rumours of Manfred's "dealings" were circulating around prosecutors and defence attorneys, these same rumours he himself heard after a month of joining the prosecutor's office, but nobody in either the prosecutor or defence attorney's offices would ever voice them loud enough for Manfred Von Karma to hear, let alone set out on a personal quest to expose the man for what he was: a murderer.

As soon as Raven heard the news of her sister's "mission" he tried everything in his power to dissuade her otherwise. Granted, after reading much on the case, he too had thought that Manfred Von Karma was guilty, but there was no way he would ever risk trying to take on a man like that alone.

Not in a million years. She however tried to reason that too many innocent people were hurt during that case, especially that man, Miles Edgeworth, the son of the victim in that case. He had lost his only family during that case, and had ended up being taken in by Manfred Von Karma, who had raised him to become a man that his father would have hated, a prosecutor who only cared about his "guilty verdict". Even though he feared for his sister's life, it seemed alright… till that fateful November day. He had heard two days before that Manfred was back in town, and would be heading to the prosecutor's office within the next couple of days.

That day, Robin had called him to ask if he would meet with her, so she could show her the evidence at his office. On the phone, she sounded so determined, so sure of herself, so he agreed to meet with her that evening. She arrived at his office at around 9:25pm, but without any evidence, and was clearly frightened. Frightened for her very life, she had begged him to help, but all he said to her was: "He's back tonight; all you can do is lay low for a while, just to make sure that she was safe. She had told him that night that she was going to steer clear of the case once and for all, but that had been a lie. As Raven had later found out, she had arranged a meeting with Manfred to confront him with the evidence, and hopefully get a recorded confession out of him. However, she had since changed her mind, and panicked. She tried to tell her brother the truth, but couldn't find the words, and had instead scribbled a note which read: "Gone to meet him, it is time the truth of the case is revealed to everyone" and slipped it onto his desk where he would find it after she had made a hasty exit.

After promising him that she would lay off the case, she left and began walking home down that alleyway. It was there that she had her life tragically cut short and was left to bleed to death by the infamous serial killer Markus Skylar. And later on, the man "responsible" was put on trial and executed. But something didn't seem right to Raven. Why would a serial killer, known for his swift escape from crime scenes, suddenly hang around a crime scene with his victim?... and also, how could the witnesses that were produced during that trial could have seen the moment so clearly when it was nearly pitch black?.. To him, it didn't make any sense at the time, and surely it had to occur to Miles Edgeworth too, the man prosecuting the case. Clearly, it didn't, as Markus was then executed. Driven by his search for the truth, he later discovered that Markus had received a rather "large sum" in a hidden bank account the morning after the murder.

While he was unable to trace the source, he was personally sure that Manfred had her silenced for good, and had gotten rid of an assassin at the same time. He could only conclude that he had made a deal with Skylar, but had ratted him out and had him sent down by his "apprentice" and adopted son Miles Edgeworth.

Raven was so sure that Miles had to know the truth, and was so angry that he didn't even bother to give Robin the courtesy of looking for the real truth. It was from there he began looking for an opportunity to avenge his sister and take down the two he felt were really responsible; he had intended to have Manfred die somehow, and had planned to go after Miles. Unfortunately, the chance to go after Manfred was stolen from him when he was found guilty the day the DL6 case was resolved, and was executed shortly after that. While yes, he was dead, it wasn't enough, he had to die by his actions.

Later on, he found that Manfred had a daughter whom of which was equally as corrupt prosecutor as him. So he then decided that she would take his place, and die by his hand. Little did he realize, was how by having her murdered, he became exactly like the man he despised.

Smoke
Character Suspended by RP'r
Metabee
Real Name: Dr. Fynn Schmidt
Alias: Smoke
Affinity: Supervillian
Citizenship: Washington, USA
Gender: Male
Age: 32
Appearance: When he's Smoke, he wears a long black leather trenchcoat that reaches his heels, and wears a pinstripe plack suit underneath, with a red tie. He has thick leather gloves, and large boots. He wears a belt that has all his equipment clipped to it. His most distinctive feature, however, is the gas mask on his face. Two chambers on each cheek allow him to breath when in his gases, and he has a visor that makes him look almost angry, due to the shape of it.

When he's plain old Fynn, he has a shaven, handsome face, with a straight nose and bespectacled, blue eyes. He stands at about 6'3", but his build is quite frail for his size.

Superpowers: None
Talents: Smoke is a skilled engineer, and has created all of his equipment by himself from scratch. Due to his profession as a surgeon, he can also heal many wounds that he and others sustain. He is also rather manipulative and a good actor - the differences between Fynn Schmidt and his alter-ego are massive, and he always hopes an injured enemy will stumble into his surgery, unaware of Schmidt's identity, so he can be finished off. He sometimes says "of all the weapons I possess, my true identity is my greatest".
Equipment: Smoke possesses wristbands, which he can implant one of his many different toxins into and then release the gas through a tube concealed up his sleeve. He also has bombs than contain the gases in bags on his belt. His gloves each have small flames beneath their respective gas tubes that can be turned on to set the gases alight. He also has a tracking device, electronic code breaker, grappling hook gun, a bloodied bonesaw, and finally, a laser pistol.
Stock of Gases;
Paralysis Gas - Shuts down the enemy's muscles and sensory neurones, rendering the enemy completely paralysed. However, it wears off within a minute.
Poison Gas - Can kill if the victim breathes enough in, but given that they can escape the area quickly enough, they'll be safe.
Flame Gas - Easily ignited. The gas that Smoke uses when he needs to use his flamethrowers. Bomb version explodes.
Smoke Gas - Very thick and difficult to see through. Purely used for escapes and distractions.

Origin/Backstory:
Fynn was born in Munich, Germany, into a relatively poor family. From a very early age, he was deeply interested in mechanics and other sciences; he spent almost every waking hour buried in a book. By the time he arrived at school, he had already surpassed even the children in the top year with his knowledge about the world. Due to this, Fynn was to be sent to a school in Washington for genius children; and, being as Fynn could make a lot of money due to his gift, as long as he was given the right encouragement, his parents had to accept.

Fynn's life continued normally until he was 16 - when his parents, his sister and his brother were all taken in a huge gas explosion. Fynn managed to struggle through school, despite the trauma that had befallen him. He had no relatives in this foreign country, and it was unlikely a 16-year-old would get picked at an orphanage. Still, he managed to get his science qualifications, and passed through a few job jobs - chemist, computer programmer, nanotechnology engineer, before finally settling as a surgeon.

After the explosion, Fynn did have to live on the street, which allowed him to see the world through different eyes. Finally, he could see how much suffering people had to endure in this world, and how many didn't bat an eyelid at it. Truly, the world was a wreck, and was beyond repair. Fynn deduced that the human race could only start again.

With this as his goal, Fynn spent as much time as he could salvage developing the equipment he would eventually need to carry it out; he decided to find himself a wife, Lisa, and made a child, Mia, to avoid there being any real suspicion of him being the terrible supervillian Smoke, who aimed to purge the world through the same means that snatched his family from him when he was young.

Superpowers: Teleportation
Talents: Smart
Equipment: A pair of glasses that actually have a rangefinder in them.
Origin/Backstory:
Growing up in Riverdale, life was not hard and was fairly normal for a kid in that neighborhood. He was average in school, upper middle class family, not to many problems, at least his parents told or showed him, and a little spoiled.

When he was 15 his parents lost there jobs and they had to move to a less expensive part of the Bronx. For the rest of his High School experience he was a reclusive person preferring to read or study then to talk to his classmates. This is where he started to be really interested in science. It quickly became his best subject and he quickly grasped concepts others his age couldn’t. As a result he started reading about Quantum Mechanics. This is where he first started to dream of doing great things for humanity.

He was a basement physicist, he did not have a degree but he tinkered with the same problems as real physicists would. After he heard about Quantum Teleportation he quickly experimented on how to improve it to take it out of the quantum world. After five years of failure he eventually devised a way to make humans have the ability to teleport. It involved some mutation. At first his trials on rats did nothing but kill them. After several more years of research and development he successfully had the first trial have a rat lived. After a few more tweaks to the process to make it work on humans, he tested it on himself. It worked, but with consequences. The process messed up the part of his brain the associates with morality. After this he began committing higher profile crimes, robbing banks, arson, etc. Now he is intent on creating more chaos for little reason.

His powers he found out has limits such as only being able to teleport within a mile radius safely and must either know the area or be in sight line. If need be he can teleport further then the mile but at a cost of burning calories, body fat, muscles and if long enough away, his internal organs killing him if not careful.

Mercenaries
Mercenaries are essentially "neutral" characters, often motivated to do either good or evil depending entirely upon the context - and which will most likely serve to benefit them personally. A Mercenary may be "hired" in lieu of a Sidekick/Henchman, but you can only hire one - and hiring a Mercenary counts as having partnered with two characters of the same affinity as your own. However, Mercenaries may participate in as many Plots as they wish simultaneously. Their Victories and Losses count toward the Scoreboard, but do not count as specific 'Hero' or 'Villain' Victories/Losses in regards to Unlockables.

Alpha Omega
(A.K.A. "Ghost")
-Gray-
Real Name: Allan Ocarus
Alias: Ghost / Alpha Omega, depending on whether he's acting good or evil for the day.
Affinity: Mercenary
Citizenship: The U.S. of A.
Gender: Male
Age: 28 years old, going on 29.
Appearance: Allan is about 6 feet tall, with short raven-black hair that changes color and length as needed for his work. He has a pale complexion, is thin yet well-muscled, and has blackish-brown eyes that, like his hair, changes as he needs it to. Pretty much every part of his appearance is subject to change at any moment, although Allan does enjoy getting back to the basics when possible.

As for his clothing, he had usually been described by witnesses or shown by security cameras as wearing a plain suit and tie, and seems to pull out various weapons from completely unimaginable hiding places.

Superpowers: N/A
Talents: He's an amazing hacker, has several billion dollars in the bank under various aliases, and is a master of hand-to-hand combat, among being extremely intelligent and strategic.
Equipment: Let's see...

Two knives, one in each shoe;
Two pistols, each on a different holster hidden under his suit;
One submachine gun, concealed in a pocket on the inside of his suit;
Several flashbangs and various grenades, usually attached to his belt;
His laptop, with various pieces of hacking equpment;
His phone, capable of tracking anyone's location and phone calls or texts at any time;
Various other weapons and items, as well as whatever makeshift weapons he might find at the moment.

Origin/Backstory:
Well, that depends on who you view him as, to be honest.

If you care about Allan Ocarus, here's his story:

Allan was born into a wealthy family, orphaned at thirteen years old, and started a successful company at fifteen, under the fake identity of a thirty-year-old businessman. He dropped out of school shortly afterwards, with his records showing that he was already performing at a level far greater than most above-average college students. He inherited several million dollars from his parents and easily matched it himself, soon amassing an amount of cash similar to the worth of most important businesses by the time he was twenty. He ran multiple multi-million dollar businesses at once with ease, and it seemed that he would be remembered for many generations to come...

But then, one day, he left. Disappeared without a trace, never to be found again. Some say he was murdered, some say he committed suicide, most just agree that he probably moved to some unmarked island to live out the rest of his life in luxury. Regardless, he was soon forgotten completely.

Now, if you want to know Ghost's backstory, that's a bit more complicated. He was first recorded by security footage during a bank robbery, and taken in for questioning. He disappeared within hours of being first recorded, and the security tabe was found to be missing from the evidence locker the next day.

Then the true confusion began. Various crimes and heroic actions, all a few days apart. It seemed that 'Ghost,' as the police had dubbed him, enjoyed switching between hero and villain whenever it suited him. The one time he was actually questioned, he was forever immortalized with this quote:

"I'm going to truly make a difference in this world, whether you're going to help me or not."

The interrogator was found shortly afterwards, dead from one clean bullet wound to the temple. The recording tabe had been cut cleanly in half with a knife, the security cameras' wires cut and the tapes gone. Ever since then, Ghost has been captured many times, but always seemed to escape before interrogation, no matter how maximum security the place.

And now he's going to make a difference.

His mouth is visible, covered by a clear visor, but it rarely moves, only switching between a line and gritting of teeth in order to show aggression.

The ‘gauntlets’ of the armour hold a blade in the right arm and a gun in the left, thus protrude from the smooth appearance of the armour. His hands are covered in the same segmented armour, thus are able to take the punishment of beating a wall through with little damage to his person. There is no actually bear skin anywhere on his person, only visible skin around his mouth.
Superpowers: None.
Talents: Highly intelligent and manipulative. He is also a capable fighter.
Equipment:
His Power Armour. He has built the armour with everything in mind: the armour is able to match that of Super Strength, though will eventually give to the stronger opponent. This rarely occurs, as by that point he’s shot or stabbed the opponent with the gun or sword he has on hand.

Upon the back of the armour are two jet ports: when activated, they allow him to fly from place to place with ease, his armour taking the pressure of the flight and such. The armour is even able to allow him to enter the vacuum of space, though he requires extensions in order to move around properly thus doesn’t do it.

On the thigh of the armour, a gun sits on the left side: this is his primary ranged weapon, the gauntlet gun is used in the chance he loses his primary. Same applies for the blade, of which sits on his back, atop the jet ports and in a position to allow his right hand to grab it with ease.

His armour is fully bullet proof, and beneath it is lead lining in order to prevent a super with X-ray vision discerning his identity.

His greatest weapon, however, would be his brain: he is quite manipulative, bringing two gangs into one spot and using a large electromagnet to remove their weapons before the prealerted police arrested each. He has a constant mental block on him, preventing psychics peering into his mind, because of the level of intellect he posses. He has no moral compass, however, and will side with heroes or villains on his own whim: he often sides with the heroes, however, as they rarely interfere with and usually benefit his plans.
Origin/Backstory:
No one really knows where he comes from, even though several detectives have attempted to figure out his identity. Rumours have also spread about him, such as him being a secret government project, or a nearby rich kid who lost his parents to a mugging, but all have been proven false. His name also comes from the media, rather than of his own choosing, as he rarely, if ever, speaks.

He first appeared a few months back, and has promptly scared many criminals, both because of his inability to be harmed and the constant defeats they suffered. He operates mostly at night, but has opted for dark red due to the primal instinct of fear it instils, indicating knowledge of the human psyche, but is able to catch a criminal after observing a crime scene, suggesting a good knowledge of forensic sciences. Even with these two bits of knowledge, his identity has remained elusive to the most dedicated of detectives.

Originally of Slavic descent, Natalia Drakul moved to the United States with her family at the age of nine - she has since lost her Slavic accent, though she often slips back into it under her alias.

At the age of 20, not long after a painful separation from her boyfriend Troy Foster, Natalie learned of the death of Troy's parents. Devastated, she tried to contact him to comfort him, but received no response. In the next morning's paper, she found out why. Troy had committed suicide.

Convinced that the disputes between them had added to Troy's stress - effectively blaming herself for his death, Natalie descended into a deep depression over the next two years. Desperate to understand as she slipped deeper and deeper beyond sanity, she rationalized that Troy's death was an act of fate, and she was the agent of fate. Turning to a life of moral ambiguity, she empowers herself every night as an Agent of Fate: Fatalia.

Origin/Backstory:
Tye lost his father at the age of 9 and was abandoned by his mother at the age of 12. He grew up alone wandering from place to place, with some money that was left for him before his mother left. It was one of the few decent things she did for him. On one of Tye's stops something special happened though...
It was an ordinary day, Tye stopped in a small town in Ohio for some rest and food. After casually strolling into a diner and ordering a meal his dinner was rudely interupted. A man with a gun came into the diner to rob the place, he was a rather mentally unstable lad. Tye stood casually despite the gun being pointed in his direction as he moved. He spoke in a calm tone: "Just walk out, it is for your own good". The "talking down" wasn't working. The man yelled and went to pull the trigger, but before he could the weirdest thing happened: Tye raised his hand as if he was going to stop the bullet with his hand(just reflexively) and the gun fell into pieces. The man's face turned to shock and he screamed and went to run. The thug made it just barley around a shallow corner. Tye instinctively picked up a fork off the table and threw it into the corner, it banked and caught the man in the leg. He was stopped and soon seized by the police. When they came to thank Tye he was already gone. He continued to hone his skills until he grew to his current age of 19.
Panik
Oblivion
Real Name: Julias Reynolds
Alias: Panik
Affinity: He will essentially work for whoever will pay him the best. Read the Other section for details.
Citizenship: He was born an Eastern American. His residence tends to change a lot.
Gender: Male
Age: 30
Appearance: Panik has a fair complexion, eyes of a dark blue, and black hair that tends to stick out and curl in a few places. However, you wouldn't be able to tell any of this just by looking at him, due to his outfit. He wears a dark red longcoat, black, studded gloves, dark red pants, and black combat boots. He also wears a black undershirt beneath the coat, which has a utility belt-like vest with numerous pockets. Most noticeably, he wears a black, shroud-like mask in combination with his hood, in order to completely obscure his face. The mask is made of a fabric that allows the wearer to see out, but no one to see in.
Superpowers: The only superpower he really has is a supernatural carrying capacity, allowing him to carry loads and loads of gear without hindering his agility.
Talents: He knows how to use his weapons, and he uses them well. He's also proficient in physical combat, as well as stealth, espionage, reconnaissance, and infiltration.
Equipment: Oh, boy. Let's see here...he's got a pistol strapped to a holster on his right waist, another pistol stored in a pocket on his coat, as well as a combat knife in a different coat pocket. There's a submachine gun strapped to his left waist. He stores some frag grenades, a couple of smoke grenades, one or two clusters of C4, and various poisons, all on his vest. He keeps numerous lockpicks in his right pocket. He uses Bluetooth-esque headsets for communication purposes. And to top it all off, a shotgun strapped to his back.
Origin/Backstory:
Julias lived a relatively quiet life in the suburban area of New Jersey. He lived with his aunt and uncle, due to an incident that had left his parents in the hospital. It was all fine and well, until sixteen years later, where Julias overheard an idle conversation at a local store that would irrevocably change his life.

"You hear about Mark and Madilyn Reynolds?" The names of Julias's parents. Pretty much the only thing he knew about them.

"Sure did. I hear they're doing life sentences this time around. They must've done something really bad. 'Course, not that I expected anything different."

Julias couldn't believe his ears. His parents? A life sentence? For what? Once the day was just about done, he confronted his aunt and uncle, demanding answers. And he got them. The truth was that his parents had been high-ranking members of a large crime syndicate. Other than that, they said nothing more. But that wasn't good enough for Julias. He needed to know more. After some serious digging for information over the span of years, he had finally managed to locate Bryan Marduk, a dangerous former hitman, and the current leader of the very same syndicate.

Marduk saw something special, almost unnatural, about Julias. He had learned a lot about the underground during his search, and Marduk offered him more. Julias accepted, and was taught in the methods of assassination. However, he didn't like Marduk's system. The crime boss mainly used Julias as a guinea pig, sending him on ludicrously difficult assignments, from which he came back beaten and bruised. Eventually, he walked out on Marduk, offering his services to others under the alias of Panik.

Other: As stated before, Panik will work for whoever will pay him the best, regardless of morality or goals. Note that it does not necessarily have to be a monetary payment. Such ambiguous alliances allow for numerous betrayals and faction switches. Panik will also have a blacklist of sorts. He will outright refuse to work for those who haven't held up their end of the bargain in the past, as well as those who have manipulated and/or deceived him in prior events.

-Shuriken: Small throwing stars
-Kunai: Small multipurpose knives
-Demon Wind Shuriken: A large shuriken that folds up into a single blade for easy carriage
-Smoke/Paper Bombs: Release smoke/explode

Origin/Backstory: Astor grew up in New York, his father owns a large company and holds many stocks. He was raised by his parents, they were wealthy and supplied him with anything he needed. Astor however, refused unnecessary gifts as he only liked simple things in life. For example he grew very close to training as his parents paid for him to work privately in the martial arts. His Sage Mode emerged in response to the training and he was now able to be something that his parents could never control: unique. Astor was disowned by his parents after abusing his ability to brutally beat a kid that attacked him at school. He was sent away and left with a "Handler" in a penthouse in Brooklyn. Astor now lives alone, at the age of 23 he has mastered his abilities. Everyone knows Astor's name and face in New York, thus he's become a very respected and loved vigilante. He has ties to the Police, and they have issued him a badge...though he is sometimes a little corrupt.

Jutsu List/Descriptions (Chakra Uses):

-Wind Rasengan: Hand based attack. A spiraling ball that digs into the target's body; rips clothes and burrows into flesh. Sends target flying back when released.
-Wind Resenshuriken: Hand based, but thrown at enemy. When it contacts target, it forms a "ball" around the enemy. The ball makes cuts all over the enemy with the use of wind.
-Sage Rasengan: A giant Rasengan that reaches 5 feet in diameter. Same effect as "Wind Rasengan" but much stronger.
-Substitution: User is hit with attack, user is replaced with a log....thus taking no damage. User can use the oppurtunity to flee but usually appears behind enemy for an attack.
-Pheonix Flower Jutsu: A volley of fireballs released from the mouth.
-Fireball Justu: Launches a giant fireball that reaches diameter of around 10 ft (forms from a jet of fire from mouth)
-Fire Style: Flamethrower: Shoot's a jet of fire from the mouth.
-Shadow Clone: Creates multiple clones of himself that appear real in every aspect.
-Running up Walls/Walking on Water

Weakness: Chakra has a limited amount if no chance for rest is given. (Chakra can be charged, but it leaves Astor vunerable)
Shift
Corruption
Real Name: Semper Act Blackwell
Alias: Shift
Affinity:Semi-reluctant anti-hero, but a superhero nonetheless. That being said he will easily shift to the side of villainy when it suits him - such a time being whenever he's being bribed.
Citizenship: British (originates from London, England).
Gender:Male
Age: 20
Appearance:
Sempre is fairly tall, and rather pale-skinned. He's rather thin and quite frankly frail, but he's incredibly agile even if he isn't gifted with incredible strength. Semper has a lithe figure, and his bones are rather prominent - mostly his cheekbones - and it gives him an almost aristocratic appearance.

His hair is a light blonde colour that's just a bit shorter than shoulder-length, and fairly neat, although it has a habit of becoming quite ruffled when he has to move quickly or he becomes stressed. He doesn't have a visible fringe, though his hair doesn't fall in his eyes or some other such nonsense.

Said eyes are a cool grey, and are probably his most memorable feature. They're fairly large, but he often prefers to keep them lidded so as not to draw unwanted attention to himself.

His body is all sharp edges - he doesn't have any visible fat nor muscles. If one were to draw him it's unlikely there'd be any curved lines used whatsoever. It reflects his personality, to an extent.

He literally cannot stoop - his head is always held high, and he looks down on people no matter who they are. His back is always straight, and his posture always has to be perfect.

His mouth is nearly always curved down slightly in a grimace, a flat line on his face or a slight smirk - Semper doesn't show emotions easily, and even when he does they're still hard to distinguish.

He is a rather good actor, after all. He knows how to wear a mask and act the part.

Whenever he walks each step seems to be precise, each of his actions planned before time. Every time his feet hit the floor there will be a pronounced click as his (rather posh) shoes fall against the ground below him.

He has a penchant for the dramatics.

Semper can normally be found wearing a suit, if you stumble across him whenhe's not being a supposed 'superhero' - he will more often than not don a plain white Tuxedo, with a pale green shirt underneath. He will use a plain black belt to secure his trousers (plain white, again), and will wear a pair of formal black shoes, more suited for a wedding than anything else. He will also normally wear a matching green tie, but it's not unusual for him to end up taking it off because it irritates him so.

When he is parading about saving people (somewhat reluctantly) Semper tends to go for a more inconspicuous ensemble. While many superheroes busy themselves with designing extravagant costumes Semper goes out of his way to appear semi-normal. He doesn't want to be well-known; he prides himself in being one of those people that looks completely normal until he does something incredible.

So when Semper is out doing super-hero business he will swap his suit for plain, black trousers and a t-shit, covered by a thick, hard-wearing khaki green jacket. Said jacket will normally be dotted with various pockets and buckles and so forth, but to an extent Semper appears semi-normal. He doesn't actually tend to use his pockets, though - he stores all of his items in his pocket-dimension. Semper's jacket appears fairly thin to the naked eye, so people tend to under-estimate how much stuff he has with him. Semper relies on the shadows created by his top-hat to obscure his features.

To be honest, if anything Semper looks almost homeless when he wears his superhero outfit, but if it keeps his identity a secret he's all for it.
Superpowers:
The ability to create portals leading into and out of a pocket-dimension.

This pocket-dimension can be altered, to an extent, when Semper feels any particularly strong emotion, but the changes are often random and uncontrollable. Semper can use this pocket-dimension to seemingly disappear and the reappear to and from any place he has visited before almost instantaneously. He can open and close these portals at will, but becoming distracted or, again, suffering from any particularly strong emotion can impede this ability. Others can follow Semper into this pocket-dimension, but will often become trapped inside. If one were to be half-way through a portal and Semper were to close said portal the person would be literally torn in half - although the same could easily happen to Semper if he were to be distracted.

Semper cannot force people into one of his portals by any means - they must enter of their own free will. While he can supposedly only transport himself to somewhere he has visited before he can attempt to go somewhere new, but this will, undoubtably, result in Semper being spat out into an alternate dimension of some description. Semper can only create portals on solid surfaces or in the air - if he attempts to create one on a liquid they will, again, spit him out into an alternate dimension instead. If Semper creates portals in the air they only last for a short amount of time before they seal themselves.
Talents: Proficient at parkour.
Fairly stealthy.
Intellectually gifted.
Finds people easy to manipulate.

Equipment; Twin daggers, with intricate patterns engraved on the hilts.
Boots specifically designed to make no sound whilst walking.
Hard-wearing gloves, as creating portals often causes his hands to burn - wearing gloves helps prevent this.

Origin/Backstory:
Semper's parents had always been brilliant politicians. With a knack for lying and an innate ability to manipulate people Semper had grown up with the knowledge of how easy people could be convinced to do things firmly imprinted in his mind. His family had a vast history, and a rich heritage, so it was unsurprising that he lived a rich and lavish lifestyle for most of his life.

He attended a private academy for most of his years, before he was kicked out for ungentlemanly conduct (namely blackmailing the other students to the extent it became a serious hindrance to the school to have such a student lurking within their ranks). His parents didn't care too much for their misbehaving child, and while Semper was not neglected he wasn't greatly involved in his parents' lives either way. Nonetheless this didn't bother him in the slightest.

Semper had always been quick, but his powers weren't developed until he reached the age of 16. Semper had a habit of stealing things - small things, nothing of any consequence - solely because he liked showing the upper-class people his family associated themselves with that they were never completely free from evil. He had been attempting to pickpocket one of the more prominent politicians his parents liked to mingle with. He had been caught, for perhaps one of the first times ever.

Semper was fully aware of exactly how badly in trouble he'd be, especially with the man's wallet still grasped firmly in his hand even as he let out a yell of outrage. Semper had literally wanted to disappear. Of course such wishes rarely, if ever, come true, and so instead Semper's brain seemed to activate it's own defense mechanism - namely forcing Semper to faint.

When he awoke Semper found himself inside of the pocket-dimension he would later come to know and love, confusion his only prominent emotion at the time. It would take him three days before he was able to create a portal out of the dimension, and six more before he was able to create one back in again, but when he was 18 Semper had finally developed enough control over his powers to be considered safe.

Whether Semper's powers manifested themselves due to the adrenaline rush or the rush just unlocked some latent abilities not even Semper himself is sure. How he was set on the path of sort-of-good, however, is less difficult to explain completely.

There is often a turning point in someone's life, where they realise with utter certainty exactly what they want to do with their life. Semper never had one. His skills at pickpocketing led him onto become a small-time thief, funnily enough, as opposed to a hero at first, and while it was not an often occurence Semper did enjoy the thrill of stealing with such ease.

The transition from villain to hero was a gradual one, triggered through a variety of unsual circumstances which led to Semper unknowingly saving a bus full of people just by being there at the right time. The praise he recieved from performing such a feat was more than enough to convince Semper that perhaps he could live with being considered a hero, especially if the monetary rewards he occasionally recieved were anything to go by.

Semper, even now, will occasionally spend some time pickpocketing, or go waltzing into people's homes uninvited just for the hell of it, but more often than not his focus is still on preserving the well-being of others (so long as he'll get something out of it).

He then remembered he had it and sent it into space. Meanwhile, Bellephron held off Black Mist at the Thames, as Eliot returned, and battled her atop the dam. He had almost given up when Shift appeared, and teleported Miko and the bomb into a pocket dimension, where Eliot dressed in a cheerleader uniform and cheered Semper on as he fought with Miko. While they were occupied, Mega Neko summoned a bomb squad kitty and disabled the bomb, finding it was full of poison gas, which suggested that Black Mist's employer wanted her dead as well. At the height of the drama, Prowler forces Fate's hand in a sadistic choice in which one of three people will die, and Fate must choose who it will be. Ultimately, Fate chose Prowler, and Prowler died with a satisfied smile on his face. In their increasing desperation, both Hero and Villain crossed new lines in this dramatic storyline, and it seems inevitable that this dramatic faceoff has not yet seen its true, well-deserved climax.

Picking up the laser, they returned to Icira's lair, where Disarray had an idea: To turn Icira's avatar in to the police, and make it look like she had died in prison. Then, use the funeral procession as an excuse to go to D.C. with a police escort. With the laser disguised as a statue of Icira, they proceeded to D.C., only to be stopped by Jeremy. Jeremy was defeated by Disarray and his mad surfing skillz, but not before Jeremy disabled the police escort.
Calling the army, Icira and Disarray made their way to D.C., where they set up the laser on a hill overlooking the capital. Meanwhile, having made 15,000$ doing random odd jobs, Jeremy came to the funeral to stop them. There, Disarray and him fought it out while Icira activated the beam, only for Jeremy to reveal he had purchased a device which absorbed lasers. Absorbing the energy, he fired it at the machine. Using his own laser to weaken the beam somewhat, and his suit's light-bending properties, he attempted to block the attack, melting his face off in the process.
Though the attack was blocked, at some point during the fight, the machines power source had broken. Their plan foiled, Disarray turned invisible and escaped, getting his face rebuilt by Icira, who had abandoned her avatar to escape. Quick-Strike
In each roleplay, all participating characters may use one "Quick-Strike" (additional Quick-Strikes may be acquired through winning games). A Quick-Strike is essentially a single attack or other action which can be performed with the assumption of success (i.e. "powerplay"). For instance, you can say your character punched your opponent in the jaw, rather than saying he "attempted" to do so and waiting for your opponents response. Quick-Strikes adhere to a strict "3-Second-Rule" - i.e. the maneuver is limited to what is physically possible for your character to complete withing a three-second period of time.

Quick-Strikes can never be used with the intent of fatal consequences or severe injury, nor are they acceptable as "plot-finishers" (i.e. your Quick-Strike cannot be the sole cause of your victory in the roleplay).

Re: Rogues Gallery (Superhero RP) (Non-Pokémon RP)

Dossiers

This is a list of opinions on various characters others have. Just PM me if you want your's included.

Bellephron
Mist: Miko thinks he's spoilt.
Mega Neko: "He's a pretty cool guy too. He is kind of a pervert, which is bad. But he tried to help me, so that is good."
OP: "An idiot. Needs to die."

Black Mist:
Mega Neko: "Mist..." *Sobs*
OP: "Can hold her own against three superheroes. Would be very useful. Has a good attitude."
Bellephron: "she's cool. If she's not my enemy, I'd totally made a fanclub dedicated for her. "
Pegasus: "a woman with voluptuous beauty who could drive guys go crazy... So sad she killed me. I'm single, you know."

The Cleric:
Fever: "The man who ended my reign of terror and what not. I made it easy for him, and he certainly did not make it easy for me. Shot my arms and my legs and left me to die. And he denied that everyone had a monster in themselves. Right before he shot me. Point. Proven."

Demon Hand:
Sol: "A nuisance, and little but."
Haze: "Very persistent; has contacts with police and numerous other higher-ups...HE CAN ALSO SEE ME :/
Weakness: N/A"

Detective Fate:
Fever: "Busy man, busy man, knows his business but he doesn't know what he's looking for yet...Needs to take a break, dye his hair and get himself some self respect. Man left a lotta people to die. Heroes need to get their priorities straight."

Disarray:
Haze: "Ah, Disarray...a seemingly old friend yet still a somewhat new face. I love working with the likes of him, he is a mastermind. Despite this he seems to show signs of mental instability in the form of child-like behavior. Having fought against and with him, he is a formidable adversary for even me.
Weakness: Technopathy over his suit."
Icira Witherflame: "Slightly dimwitted, but very knowledgeable when it comes to weapons and combat. Capable of coming up with decent schemes. Worth a second look."

Fatalia:
Fever: "She had a weak mind, a weak faith, different responsibilities...she had to go. Kaboom."

Haze:
Mega Neko: "He sometimes does bad things, but I think he's good at heart."
Sol: "A valuable ally. Note to self: I owe him for looking for some blueprints so I could have time to go to my niece's birthday party."
Vanishing Act: "Haze: That bastard who betrayed me. Also shot my wrist, going to make him pay for that..."

Icira Witherflame:
Sol: "A smart woman. Also very attractive. It was very nice of her to rebuild my face after the incident where it was melted off.

The Illusion:
Icira Witherflame: "Fast learner. Fairly tricky. Cannot be fooled by holography. Probably genre savvy now—I'm sure that's my fault. Oh, and he's got three pieces of equipment from my fortress. Best be careful with him."

Jeremiah Darius
Mega Neko:"I do not know him well, but he helped me with Vanishing Act, so he is a pretty cool guy."
Sol: "Ugh. The fool does not deserve to call himself a hero. He acts like he's so much better than everyone else, when really, he's no better than any of the people he faces."
Vanishing Act: "Seems eager to please but need more information"
Icira Witherflame: "Arrogant and gung-ho. I spent the whole skirmish trying to figure out which one of us was the real villain."

Liberty:
Fever: "The girl stopped my game early...sent me to that prison place. I let her take me. Coulda gone out with a bang there and then, but no, I knew it would be worth the wait. She spoke with authority, and that was basically asking for it."

Mega Neko
Mist: Miko thinks MN has a stupid superhero name, and his powers are kinda weird, but he's cute.
Bellephron: "he's okay. He saved london with me and err.. That Shift guy."
Vanishing Act: "Possibly on drugs, seems a little like he's not all there. Does not seems to play by my rules either."
Haze: "LSD Hero, seems very free spirited. Though his methods are sometimes unorthodox he obviously does think before he acts. He is able to use cats both effectively and sometimes just frankly annoying. (I mean really, he flew in on a Nyan Cat?) Seems slightly mentally unstable, possibly prone to personal attack?
Weakness: Limited to the physical abilities of his cats...stop the cats, stop him"

Midna:
Sol: "A sexy, sexy beast."
Haze: "Not much known...
Weakness: N/A"

Nighthawk:
OP: "An idiot with a bird obsession. Needs to die."
Pegasus: "we don't talk much. But he's a fellow winged hero, so yeah."

OP
Bellephron: "I think even an idiot could tell that he's a total sword wielding moron "
Pegasus: "he and Miko sent me to heaven early. Bad guy, needs to die."

Parasite:
Fever: "Fell for the bait, ran out of time, sent me over a roof, let the hospital go poof. Tell ya the truth, this guy was new in the business, so he lasted a while in my game. He played it too, fair and square. Thought he'd killed me when he tucked that grenade down my coat and kicked me off the building. Lucky there was a window cleaner a floor below..."

Pathos:
OP: "Tried to hurt me and Splice's friendship. Needs to die."
Bellephron: "she doesn't talk much.... So yeah."

Pegasus:
OP: "I killed him. I didn't even mean to. Not that I mind. Should give me plenty of street cred."

Shift:
Mist: The one hero she's fought against that she respects, but doesn't find sexy.
Mega Neko: "The coolest guy ever. He never worries about anything, and nothing even fazes him ever!"
Bellephron: "Mr Pocket Dimension. If I had his powers, I could always hid my unfinished paperwork in my pocket dimension..."
Haze: "Very crafty, his portals are very annoying to face.
Weakness: Can be followed into portals...
OOC: Weakness: Black Walls XP"

Shockwave:
OP: "A lightning guy. Needs to die."
Pegasus: "my short tempered and hot headed ally."

Splice:
[Spolier]: OP: "A genius, and my master. His word is law."
Bellephron: "can't he think of a better alias than 'Splice'? I hate that guy"

Vanishing Act:
Mega Neko: "I do not want to talk about it. Please, do not make me talk about it.
Haze: "Disorganized in planning and carrying out crime, near average intelligence...Ha Ha *Knows location of V.A.s area of operation*
Weakness: Must see destination of teleportation

Voltina:
Vanishing Act: "Need more information..."
Haze: "Not much known...
Weakness: N/A"

Re: Rogues Gallery (Superhero RP) (Non-Pokémon RP)

Name: Lars Alexanderson
Alias: Bellerophon
Affinity: SuperHero
Citizenship: Swedish, half japanese (Hometown: Stockholm, Sweden.)
Age: 23
Appearance:
KHIVLarsAlexandersson.png

Superpower: super strength and speed.

Talents: he masters all kinds of martial arts technique.
He's an Ex navy seals
Very good with motorbike
And he's one of the Alexanderson family means he is a billionaire.

Equipment: a golden clawed brass knuckle, tough armor made from titanium with a lion head symbol on it that is actually alexanderson family symbol.
Boots and a cool looking scarf.

Backstory: Lars had a quite long history.
Being an Alexanderson family means he is a son of a powerful billionaire that is well known because of its military reputation.
However, it didn't help him having a happy childhood.
His father, Logan Alexanderson, Train him hard everyday so that he won't disgrace the Alexanderson family name. And sometimes, his dad even beat him up if he failed to do the task his father had given him
Lars had a French girlfriend, named Emili "Lili" De Rochefort. A beautiful, sweet, kind and caring young woman.
Lili's father is a scientist. He has developed some sort of substance (he call it amplifytron) that could amplify the powers of a normal human to 10 times stronger, but he hadn't tested it out yet.
Interested in this new substance, Lars volunteered so that the substance can be tested on him.
It worked, he could even run faster than a ferrari, and he can even lift a car.
Soon enough, he realized that if this substance used in military, there will be world war 3, or even worse.
He wanted to stop Lili's father from producing more amplifytron, but he still care about Lili, since she really love his dad.
And Lars love Lili more than anything in this world. so now he's trapped between Lili and saving the world.
One night, he got a brilliant idea, he mixed all kind of stuff into a tank full of amplifytron, making it can only be used for healing, not making a human strength rise 10 times.

Re: Rogues Gallery (Superhero RP) (Non-Pokémon RP)

Username;
Corruption

Character

Real Name;
Semper Act Blackwell

Alias;
Shift

Affinity;
Semi-reluctant anti-hero, but a superhero nonetheless. That being said he will easily shift to the side of villainy when it suits him - such a time being whenever he's being bribed.

Citizenship;
British (originates from London, England).

Gender;
Male

Age;
20

Appearance;

Superpowers;

Talents;
Proficient at parkour.
Fairly stealthy.
Intellectually gifted.
Finds people easy to manipulate.

Equipment;
Twin daggers, with intricate patterns engraved on the hilts.
Boots specifically designed to make no sound whilst walking.
Hard-wearing gloves, as creating portals often causes his hands to burn - wearing gloves helps prevent this.

Origin/Backstory;

Re: Rogues Gallery (Superhero RP) (Non-Pokémon RP)

Username: JakkuEbansu

Character

Real Name: Miko Miyazaki
Alias: The Black Mist
Affinity: Supervillain
Citizenship: Half Japanese, Half Russian- Currently residing in London
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Appearance: Long black hair, with a blacked-out pair of goggles around her neck. She wears a dark set of combat clothing, for stealth, along with a dark grey trenchcoat above it. Her eyes are yellow-green, so are usually the only thing you see in the darkness before she kills you. She has grey gloves around her hands, and climbing boots to enable swift movement over most terrain. She carries two sheathed katana strapped to her back.
Superpowers: She can blend into shadows, hiding from enemies (rarely), or using the darkness to her advantage to sneak up on opponents to give a killing blow.
Talents: Miko is extremely intelligent and agile. However, she is also very bloodthirsty. She has a large amount of training in various sword skills and martial arts.
Equipment: Aside from twin katana, not really. She finds it easier to travel light.
Origin/Backstory: Aged 13, Miko's entire family was the victim of a drive-by shooting. She fled from the gang who had killed her parents, who quickly gave pursuit. Until this point, Miko had no idea of her powers, but, hiding down a side alley, she leant against a shadow and fell into the inky blackness. Blinded with rage and sadness, she used her newfound skill to dispose of the first gangster who chased her. He happened to be using a katana, as he was Yakuza. Unfortunately for the man's gangmates, this was also the night Miko found out she could use a katana naturally too...

In each roleplay, all participating characters may use one "Quick-Strike" (additional Quick-Strikes may be acquired through winning games). A Quick-Strike is essentially a single attack or other action which can be performed with the assumption of success (i.e. "powerplay"). Re: Rogues Gallery (Superhero RP) (Non-Pokémon RP)

Can a quick strike be used to neutralize someone else's quick strike? Like, if Laurie used a quick strike to shoot Adrian's character, could Adrian use his own to catch the bullet in mid-air?

Origin/Backstory: Eliot's parents were astronauts who lived on an island in the Pacific, near a volcano.

Re: Rogues Gallery (Superhero RP) (Non-Pokémon RP)

Tamaki: Pending

I like the character, but I think some tweaking is needed to lend him some credibility - I fear Mega Neko may turn into more of a parody of a superhero if his powers aren't given some discernible limits, and the character isn't given at least one discernible weakness. In other words, I'm slightly concerned that your character can summon an infinite number of immortal cats and wields an indestructible battle-axe.

If you are willing to apply limits to two of the three underlined points, I'll accept.

EDIT: Yes, you can use your Quick-Strike to invalidate your opponent's; though catching a bullet seems a little extreme.

Re: Rogues Gallery (Superhero RP) (Non-Pokémon RP)

Can I make it so instead of "dying" the cats just go away, and come back after a day? It's just that I don't like dead cats, and I don't think Valkyries could die. I'll change everything else right now, though.

Re: Rogues Gallery (Superhero RP) (Non-Pokémon RP)

Works for me. Accepted. :-D

Any idea on a date? =3

Re: Rogues Gallery (Superhero RP) (Non-Pokémon RP)

Well, I was hoping to have all of the current Reserved spots filled before I initiated the first Plot, but we do have three heroes and two villains at the moment, which I suppose is more than enough to get a Plot started...

I'm organizing the first Plot now.

Re: Rogues Gallery (Superhero RP) (Non-Pokémon RP)

Real Name: Sol Glissant

Alias: Disarray

Affinity: Supervillain

Origin/Backstory: Sol was a math prodigy in his youth, and even got to skip second grade, for which his parents were immensely pleased. He soared through high-school, joining the swim team, chess club, bowling team, and Dungeons and Dragons club. This left him kind of tired, so he slept through college, and got through his first year only by winning a bet with the dean that he could beat him in Pokemon.
