Re: What new "kinds" of Pokemon do you predict?

chatot is beast!
i gots one that is level 100!

and if they had a chatot evo thaqt ould be awsome!!!
(if they had a absol evo and it was bad, i would Kill game freak for it!)

Well it would be costly to go all the way from Pennsylvania to Japan just to be caught by the security people and be imprisoned for life. Anyways, I think absol is more likely to get a pre-evo. I don't know why everybody hates on pre-evos. I love munclax and wynaut. Yeah chatot is unique and has a good moveset. Just give it an evo with higher stats and he would be amazing.

A lot of the people who hate on them are the people who are just concerned with battling and such, and pre-evos aren't helpful there. They're more just something else you have to get to fill up the pokedex that you would never use. If you look at it from an ecological perspective however, a lot of them make sense. The original babies weren't really, like Pichu and Igglybuff and such. They were just kinda things to be cute to sell the whole breeding thing. More recently babies have been better, being related to pokemon that wouldn't believably come from the eggs and such.

Guess that could work! Don't really have any flying squirrels yet, do we?
Ever since Pachirisu was first revealed people were expecting a flying squirrel evolution. Then there was that video showing that pokedex and that Buizel came right after Pachirisu meaning it wouldn't evolve, and we all just kinda moved our expectations to Gen V.

Barly know what a chatot is so I'm not saying anything on this one ^^
Basing off of its name Perap (Parrot/rap) and Chatot (Chat/Parrot) it's safe to say its based off a parrot or general tropical bird. The musical note on its head always made me think that if it got an evolution it would be a cockatoo.

What about a goat pokemon? Maybe for a early route pokemon. It could evolve into a dark type ram

I feel like we have a lot of Fire/Flying already. I'd rather see Fire paired with other types.

There are only 3, two of them are legendary and the other is a starter. I would love to see another Fire/Flying.

Re: What new "kinds" of Pokemon do you predict?

I guess that this question would best fit in this thread, so...

What do you guys think the Legendary trio for this gen will be based off of? We've had:

Elemental Birds
Elemental Beasts
Mineral Golems
Psychic Pixies

So... what now? I honestly have noooo clue. Do you think the trio will be the same types (like gen IV) or different?

Struggling to decide whether a serious answer should be given or a joke answer. Unfortunately I get warning notifications for adding humor to these threads, so I will simply say: Horses?

I have as well... It's tough toning down the humor and sarcasm you want to put in a post. =P

Ursaring isn't good enough for you? Ursaring practically learns every good Figthing type move. Honest to goodness.

olingos
pottos
kinkajous
coatimundis
jackals
dingoes
bandicoots
pangolins

and dark types:
tasmanian devils
aye-ayes

and oh chatot should evolve into a hoopoe or a peacock.

Maybe something based on Poseidon/Zeus/Hades?

A while ago I designed a set of legendary serpents. I would be thrilled to see that actually happen.
