Re: What new "kinds" of Pokemon do you predict?

I would like a lot more Normal type combos. Not just flying, water, psychic.
Things such as ghost and dark would be great.

Doesn't Medicham kind of cover that? Same with Ludicolo although its not a fighting type and their not a form of dance but move in a dancing like style. I've been really curious lately about what the third counterpart of Reshiram and Zekrom will be. Maybe its color scheme will be Grey, Scarlet or Brown?

Don't forget about Hitmontop. Hitmontop was based off the martial arts style capoeira, which is the art of dance-fighting that originated in Brazil.

Medicham is a little more yoga/meditation isn't it? I was thinking a boy and girl version. Maybe based on ballroom dancing or ballet. I was thinking more dance themed than Hitmontop.

If we ever get that Light-type, I want a Steel/Light Paladin.

Gallade basically fills that position. Still not understanding why anyone thinks a light type is needed when we have Normal/Psychic/Electric/etc.

Just saying.

And by the way, blade arm Bruce Lee does not equal Holy Knight.

An angler fish should strike fear into the heart of all who encounter it. Lanturn does not do this. It makes me want to laugh at how non ferocious it looks.

Wonderful idea, but why not just alt evolve Chinchou? Lanturn is so large and I feel it would shrink to become that.

Would we go Dark/Water, Electric/Water, or Electric/Dark
I'd say Electric/Water but with awesome physical attack and moves like crunch, the fangs, and hypnosis to split it from Lanturn :D But they've never had alt evos with the same typing have they?

I was thinking, Japanese Macaques...live in snow and stay in hot springs...maybe Fire/Ice? Or Rock/Ice? Seems like they could get an awesome typing if we want another monkey.

Why do we need split evolutions? Those are just annoying and pointless.

Especially Hitmontop. Do you know how hard it is to make sure those EV's are exactly equal? 'Cause I don't. ^_^ (I've never had a Tyrogue when playing Gold. I did end up with a Level 60 Fearow, though. And besides Lugia, he was the highest-level Pokemon in my party.)

I think that would be cool. It just should be a bit smaller and not have the bottom face. Or if it did, it could change forms. One form is it standing on it's hind legs and it's primary face would be the one under the lion, and it's other is in one all four, with it's primary face being the lion's.

Oh my... One of the most creative ideas ever. I would love a Fire/Ice Macaque. Great idea!

EV's? EV's are Effort Values. The EV's don't have to be equal. The actual stats do, but that's not the same thing. The EV's influence the stats, but just because the EV's are equal doesn't mean Tyrogue will have the same Attack and Defense. ^__^'

Dark/Fighting would be nice. Due to its type combination, it could be one of the most resistant pokemon...

That one could be Fire/Poison, because there's a (poisonous) snake and lion looks like it can burst flames out of its mouth...

Re: What new "kinds" of Pokemon do you predict?

I'm diggin the boxing kangaroo idea posted earier in the thread being an aussie but what about other unique Australian animals.

e.g. a grass type based on a koala since they live in trees, a dark/ground type based on a dingo or a normal/flying that they have in every gen (pidgey, hoothoot, taillow, and starly evo lines) based on the laughing kookaburra. Just a few ideas I thought i'd throw out there
