I'm not interpreting anything. The big theme is right there, life and death, and coordination. I'm just saying that people shouldn't get their hype up by expecting ice wolf and squirrel then disappoint themselves. Some fans even goes as far as fitting random common mons like Trevenant into their Norse scheme, which are self fantasy.

So I can't say my opinion without it being delusion? If there's a tree involved in the myth and there's a tree Pokémon, I'm gonna make the connection. There's a difference from saying that and saying Trevenant is part of some insane legendary Pokémon plot, which I never did. Obiously it's a fan fantasy.

Don't you really feel that although we have dicovered somehow the entire game, GameFreak does...nothing!?!
Maybe the giveaway copies were an exlusive version, like the demo. While in the real X and Y the game feauters even more new Pokemon and other stuff.
All what we have got so far may be beautiful but is undeveloped.

Absolutely this. I think I disliked Pokemon Black so much because you basically had a bunch of sub par Pokemon shoved in your face with none of your favourites. BW2 introduces Pokemon from old gens much quicker which I really liked. I think I only have one gen five Pokemon on my team and that's Hydreigon haha
So i'm guessing Haxourus, Reshiram, Mienshao, Serperior, Bisharp, Scolipede, Samurott, Gothitelle, Krookodile, Eelektross, Cobalion, Cofagrigus, Reuniclus, Accelgor, Chandelure, Archeops, Keldeo, Bouffalant, Terrakion, Virizion, Emboar, Volcarona, Braviary, Beartic, Heatmor, Zekrom, Seismitoad and Escavaliar all counts as "subpar" right?

Please don't take this as me trying to shoot down your opinion but, i'd rather have a bunch new Pokemon shoved in my face than a bunch of old ones that i've used for years, that what's i like about Black and White forced you to adopt a new strategy.

"HOW DARE YOU NOT LIKE A THING I LIKE HERE ALLOW ME TO GROSSLY EXAGGERATE THE POINT YOU WERE TRYING TO MAKE TO TRY AND MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE A HYSTERICAL STRAWMAN NOW WHO'S THE TWAT, EH?"

And yes, actually, I do consider most of those Pokemon to be subpar and uninteresting, both designwise and moveset wise.

Nidhoggr destroy the tree. Jörmungandr is Zygarde. The Eagle is related to transporting deceived warriors and the stags represent the seasons, and do relate to life.
Oh whoops, I mistook what Yveltal was.

Still, my point is that Zygarde may as well be inspired from both Jörmungandr and Nidhoggr.
Not exactly either of them lifted as-is, specially considering the little we know about Zygarde itself is that it "watches the enviroment", and that it's the "Order Pokémon". (Which implies a balance between Life and Death.)
Although it definitely matches better Jörmungandr indeed.

You do realize that there is no Big Tree that represent Yggdrasil in tbe game, right?
There is no Original Dragon representing Taiji in Gen V either, yet the main trio is ALL about the concept of Taiji.

That's kind of what we all talking about Yggdrasil are talking about.

Although, on that note... Do we have Zygarde's Japanese pokédex entry? It might shed a bit more of light on it if it's any different.

Continue, continue. I'm still plenty of popcorn.

About the 4chan message...

what if someone from nintendo posted it so people starts to distrust all the info that has been leaking all this time? Yo dawg, I herd you liek conspirations...

But OD was mentioned and referenced a LOT in the games, and many people (including me) still believe it will appear eventually.

How some people even consider the 4chan post might be real is beyond me....

But enough of that, let's move on >_> I hope the leakers will still keep on going with leaking, even if there's just post-game content left...

From Wikipedia

In Norse mythology, Jörmungandr (Old Norse: Jǫrmungandr, pronounced [ˈjɔrmuŋɡandr]), often written Jormungand, or Jörmungand and also known as the Midgard Serpent (Old Norse: Midgarðsormr), or World Serpent, is a sea serpent, the middle child of the giantess Angrboða and the Loki. According to the Prose Edda, Odin took Loki's three children by Angrboða, the wolf Fenrir, Hel and Jörmungandr, and tossed Jörmungandr into the great ocean that encircles Midgard.[1] The serpent grew so large that he was able to surround the earth and grasp his own tail.[1] As a result, he received the name of the Midgard Serpent or World Serpent. When he lets go, the world will end. Jörmungandr's arch-enemy is the god Thor. It comes from the ouroboros. The Ouroboros is symbolized by a snake biting its own tail. It comes from the Greek word "Ouron" which means "To make water", explaining the references of Jormungandr to the sea. It symbolizes balance in nature, hence, when he "lets go", it would be similar to Atlas letting go, which means there would be chaos and no order.

The description fits well Zygarde Pokedex Entry. It is hard to believe that, if they do make Pokemon Z, they won't make it equal the Creation Trio with Arceus on top. Considering Nidhoggr represents the Caos it would be the 3 Pokemons against him, even Yveltal as there nothing to destroy in Chaos.

Hoenn's Legendaries represented Earth, Sea, and Sky - but they were also based on the Biblical Leviathan, Behemoth, and Xiz despite not being set in the middle east.

The XYZ legendaries are the beasts of Yggdrassil. The only thing different is that they swapped the role of the eagle (neutral observer) with the snake (destroyer).

The Serpent is not the destroyer. Jormungandr, the creature it was based from, symbolizes balance in nature.
Stop afirming the Wyrm and the Snake are the same, it annoys me alot lol

In ancient languages Wyrm, Dragon, and Snake were the exact same word. I know Jormung and Nidogg are different characters, I think they just combined them to simplify the legend for XY, like how Rayquazza is the Xiz combined with a dragon and Lugia is Ryujin crossed with a bird.

Considering we still have around a tenth of the regional Pokédex unaccounted for, they better get back to work!

All of the G6 Pokemon are really well designed, there's just not enough of them to make it feel like a new game rather than a Pokemon Colosseum/XD - at least in my opinion. Even the Megas are starting to remind me a bit of the Shadow Pokemon mechanic - just reversed so that it's a good thing instead of a bad thing.

And let's not forget that city down in the south of Kalos where the battle facilities are supposed to be. No pics of that yet if I'm not mistaken. Maybe there are still Frontier Brains or something similar to be discovered...
