Did anybody ever calculate the base stats of the starters' final evolutions?
The huge gourgeist might be a pink butterfree-esque thing you know.
I knew the fairy type would cause a metagame armageddon! MUAHAHAHA!
@Robo-Floatzel; IKR, and what's worse is that they have no creativity when it comes to ev's and movesets. It is also obvious they have brain damage because farfetch'd is in OU. How the hell did that happen?

I agree with you, Smogon's only goal is to essentially take away the fun of battling with a person's friends, and replacing it what whatever insane rules they can come up with to take away people's fun in battling, a lot of the time they will ban Pokemon that have a base stat over 500 or so, and I bet they are willing to ban a Pokemon just for having a pink shiny coloring when the regular coloring is blue and black.
I can only imagine how many older Pokemon, even fan-favorites, let alone new ones, are going to be banned this generation, for whatever new moves or abilities they have, and most especially Mega Evolutions, will put entire species off the map for years to come...
Have you read their assessments at all? That isn't true in the slightest.I knew the fairy type would cause a metagame armageddon! MUAHAHAHA!

Yeah, the best comp advice i've ever got was from the Pokedit boards, 'cos i'm currently trying comp but i'm too busy to ev train and iv farm. I use smogon for guidance but don't rely completely on it.
Sooooooooo. Did we ever figure out who the 70th Pokemon was?
There's a 70th one? As far as I recall we're up to Zygarde as the 69th (pffft)
And is it me, or do we have a lot of tanks this generation?
Now that i think about it, there were lots of offensive pokemon in gen 5. I prefer sweepers over tanks, but that's just me.It might have been me but Gen 5 felt like there was too many sweepers and glass cannons introduced. If that was the case, then I think a more defensive gen complements it well.
I found these over at Serebii:
-Josh just stated that if your affection is high enough, you can blow away burns.
-I need verification on this, but according to this, Kanpachi confirmed that truly the E4 each have Mega evolutions like before (same Pokémon as well, Druddigon, Chandelure, Scizor and Gyarados). Again, I'm not sure on this one though.
