Unless it is the pseudo of this gen, there's a high chance it could not evolve. I remember in a trailer, it was shown at level 50.

I wouldn't put much stock in that. It's been shown already that they level Pokemon up to 50 sometimes in the trailers. (presumably when they show off a Pokemon that isn't found in the wild in that location)

In which case even if it evolves before 50 it won't matter since the Pyukumuku was probably just set at level 50 through some kind of developer command.

I think you're referring to riddle N3, which has been confirmed by Riddler himself to indeed be Oranguru. To quote Pokesan's explanation:

Knowing this makes me like Oranguru a lot more than I originally did. Well, if that purple fur didn't look hideous to me.

The faded Pokemon are simply old Pokemon seen in pre-release material other than battle footage, as well as any Pokemon related to those. For instance, Meganium was seen on a t-shirt in an artwork, which is why all the Johto starters are faded. I personally doubt they will be included in the Alola Pokedex, though.

I know eevolutions becoming legendary beasts is fannon, but it would be fun if some fannon stuf turned to be real.

I hope the Riddler gives us some juicy riddles

Mostly they seem to riddle about pokemon that are about to be revealed, but wasn't Oranguru teased way back?

Personally, I don't mind the evolutionary disconnect between Manaphy/Phione or Carbink/Diancie. The former is just a nice, unique quirk that keeps things diverse, and the latter makes sense - natural diamonds are formed from carbon under very specific circumstances, and that wouldn't be translated as well if any old Carbink could just up and become a Diancie with enough tranining.

I appreciate Phione not evolving into Manaphy too, actually, because it seems to make sense to me.

Re: Carbink though; that user (on mobile, too tired to check) said Carbink would evolve via rare item, not 'training'.

Not that though

I was just thinking how funny it was that I rarely ever see Poketubers talking about the Riddler leaks.

Considering that it's one of only two or three credible leaks it seems like a major oversight on their part. I mean the riddler leaks have been around for long enough now you'd think they'd have noticed them.

Yeah I've been wondering about this for a while now. I wonder if this riddler guy only has access to Pokemon that are planned to be announced before release. Like he has a contact in the promotional department.

Though in that case it would mean they plan to reveal Marshadow before release so I'm not sure. (assuming Aristotle relates to Marshadow)

Even though Marshadow is listed separately from Aristotle, after Magearna?

Really? Sorry, I was assuming that Aristotle was related to Marshadow because I saw a lot of speculation about that connection a while ago...

That's true but I also feel like the riddler leaks are not easy to understand and for the most part I don't understand most of it until the actual info comes out. It seems like a puzzle with only a few pieces, so I can see why they don't. I feel like it would be unfair to call it an oversight. The riddler doesn't just come out and say hey these Pokemon are coming these get Alolan forms, and I think it's much easier to cover leaks that do just give direct info. That's my opinion anyways.

The main thing I hope about Marshadow is that it's at least part Poison-type. Bout time we got a Poison legendary and iirc at least one leak has pointed to it being Poison.

Do we have any speculation on what the Pokemon represented by the Japanese actress + the anime character could be? I'm honestly not into anime nor do I take interest in Japanese celebrities, so I have no ideas about it myself.

I've watched the show that the character comes from, which could suggest some things (the character, Yin, was blind, and was essentially an odd mutation of human who could, in very broad terms, project her consciousness through any existing samples of water; these mutants were referred to as "dolls" so that's another possible angle - there's a lot to work with there; maybe a Water type doll-themed Pokémon?), but I don't know anything about the actor so it's a hint that I'm only halfway in on.

Googling "water dolls" only brings up various baby dolls so it's probably not that literal. :p

Maybe it's the dolphin? Taking what I said about Yin being connected to water and being able to project her consciousness = Water/Psychic, and dolphins are pretty intelligent, so a Psychic type would make sense. Plus "doll"-phin haha

Did some digging; apparently the actor is Yukie Nakama.

Which could mean... anything, really. Although, if I were to run with the dolphin theory, she is a singer - isn't there something about dolphins and singing? I really don't know enough about dolphins, so we're stepping outside my field of knowledge here. :p

A Psychic/Poison type would be really interesting for a legendary I think...

and it would fit in with Solgaleo being Psychic/Steel and Lunala being Psychic/Ghost.

Here's what I know about her- She was born into a Fisherman family, She has a talent for Comedy , and she made her big break in a show called "Trick", which is about a failed Magician that tries to prove that Magic is real.

@Desdar300 I have a quick question to ask: You translated the quote about the Rockruff and the starters before, did you see anything mentioning evolution? Serebii said on twitter that the quote asked about the starter evolutions, but I don't remember that being mentioned at all either in your quote or other translations. So I'm wondering where he got that from, if it's even in the quote at all.

Fisherman = Water type
Magic = Psychic type

So basically a Water/Psychic Pokemon, maybe a dolphin?

IIRC, Kirsi was also associated with Water, so I definitely could see water being a type for whatever it is. Dolphins also makes sense with the fisherman bit as they are hunted.
