Why will we get Z-forms when we already got Alola forms? Doesn't Sun and Moon have enough already?
What does this mean?I would just like to point out that according to Serebii, Detective Pikachu is apart of Gen VI.
Maybe Z-Forms on the 4th? If so, then that would help with leaks.
OK, I'm doing this from my phone, so bear with me. I found two symbols. One is the letter "Z", the other meaning human in clerkly, running, and standard script. This is as close as I can get to the Riddler's image. Now, I interpret it as Complete Zygarde, "Human Z". If this is true, that means it has an exclusive Z-move or Z-form, the latter I'm doubting myself, but I wouldn't put it past GF with everything already in SM. It's only a theory, but could definitely be a viable idea IMO. Anyone else consider this?
Ash-Greninja (and I mean the transformation in this case) is not anime-exclusive. I never believed that. They wouldn't make something this mysterious (we still don't fully know what it is, other than a official name) and only put it in the anime. Impossible.Or maybe, "Human Z" = Z-Forms/"Synchro", where the human and Pokémon are fully synchronized
I swear I'm not doing this on purpose
Its a stretch, but at this point any deciphering of the riddles is. Considering my earlier idea, its always shown that your Pokemon needs to hold a crystal, which I assume slots into the Z Ring, correct? But if it also doubles as a Mega Ring, it would hold something that is a permanent fixture, as megas require a pair of stones, and not a single, like the Z Crystaliums. So I wonder, if there is a Z Mechanic that is basically Mega Evo+, I wonder if the Z Ring has an option to slot in a Z Crystalium automatically so that the Pokemon can hold its Meganite.
It certainly does. Maybe the two Z-Crystals combine to form one temporarily and thus grant the holder a Z-Form?It's an interesting idea, although the wording about Z-Crystals on the official site is a bit unclear:
> "The Z-Ring fits on a Trainer’s arm, and Z-Crystals are set into it. If a Pokémon holds the same variety of Z-Crystal, the two will be able to resonate with one another. Crystals that correspond to each Pokémon type have been found in the Alola region."
Doesn't that sound like there already need to be two Z-Crystals, one to be set in the Trainer's Z-Ring and one for the Pokémon to hold?
That is what I am basing it on actually. Its weird that there has to be a pair, when it looks to be so far that beyond the dance, its all on the Pokemon for the energy needed. Read my example above on how it could work.
Why would we get a form that causes us to lose a battle instantly if the pokemon faints? That makes Ash-Greninja useless as it would only hinder our teams rather than help us. Also Ash doesn't exist in the games and neither does his Greninja. Also they can't go out with SM because there be another pair of main series game after it that would have to be better. If Sun and Moon really serve as 20th anniversary celebration (remember the first announcement said ''it all comes together in Sun and Moon'') why wouldn't they go all out and give us Z-Forms as well? I still believe Ash-Greninja wasn't just created to give Ash his own unique Pokemon, they did it for a reason.
Kinda does actuallyDoes it look like the character 全 which can mean perfect?
Of course not all Pokemon with a Z Crystal gain a mega, much like not all Pokemon with a Mega gain a Z Crystal. Pikachu and Eevee for example. I think what we are missing exactly, is just what Z Crystals are, and we can't really say. I just think that if Pokemon specific Z crystals can exist, there must be a property beyond being moves behind them that works much like mega evolution, and that same energy in extreme cases can be dual wielded for something more. Resembling the Kanji for perfect is actually a big eye opener. Perfect Zygarde, Z Moves, Mega Evolution, I wonder if it all adds up to my theory, and ends up being Perfect Mega Evolution.Well, I do like your idea as far as the suggested mechanics go. It does make sense. But it also implies, by virtue of the existence of a proposed "Greninjite," that any Pokémon with Z-Forms would also be receiving a Mega Evolution, which just feels sort of weird to me. Granted, it's probably because I've kind of already committed to the thought that there won't be any new Mega Evolutions in these games, but I guess I could still end up being surprised.
Or perhaps it's the inverse - Z-Forms could be triggered by having the Pokémon hold a specialized Z-Crystal, while the human invokes a Key Stone in their Z-Ring? Clearly there are Z-Crystals that are, for whatever reason, calibrated toward specific Pokémon, just like Mega Stones. Maybe what we can infer from that is that the signature Z-Crystals contain the same kind of individualized energy as Mega Stones, and are therefore able to sync with Key Stones (which convert and transmit human energy) as well? And it's the combination of human energy and specialized elemental energy that results in a transformation that is different from Mega Evolution, where the ingredients involved are human energy and specialized life energy.
