With this episode, there only remain the two post-League episodes to go through for the dub (plus the movie), and then, Generation VII is officially over in America too.

I wasn't expecting Type:Wild at all because well, it's the dub. But from what I've heard on Twitter the Z-move sequence just uses the typical Goldfarb produced background OST... not even "The Challenge of Life" was good enough for them apparently.

I was also expecting something a little less underwhelming for the Z-move sequence, especially on such an important battle.

A full version, or at least an instrumental version of The Challenge of Life would've fit perfectly here.

Geez everyone being so hard on Naganedel for losing to Tapu Koko without really acknowledging that it had taken a good team of damage during the battle with Lucario. Yes, far less experienced than the island guardian + being on a field that was boosted to help electric types/electric moves led to its defeat. Still a great battle though!

Meh as expected the background music during the battle of Z moves didn't do much for me...just like years prior in the dub's version of Ash-Greninja vs Mega Sceptile.

Hard to believe in a couple weeks we'll be done with this season in the states :/

I got tingles from this scene all over again.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the acting is on-point, but music is a big part of the show too, and when it's taken away the product as a whole suffers.

Eh, I don't think the acting's on-point at all but I do agree that the music is a big part of the show. Any other modern dubbing company would have put an English cover of the song over this scene, no question.

They really don't seem to fully understand the importance of background music, do they?

To be perfectly fair, though, Mr. Goldfarb's just the artist they hired to actually compose the music. He's just doing what he needs to do to get paid. The ones who don't understand music are the executives who sign his paycheck.
