Review S23 EP48: A Close Call... Practically!

Definitely one of the weakest episodes so far, even not taking the "Two-In-One" episodes into account.

Virtually nothing happened and the overreliance of unfunny slapstick humour didn't make up for that. Cinderace and Lucario being at odds feels forced since it didn't really come across in any prior episode from memory. Not to mention that episodes with little human presence and Pokemon just saying their names doesn't do it for me.

Side note, Greedant not being here despite being the catalyst for the plot strikes me as really weird. Kinda feels like the writer for this episode wasn't told the specifics of the previous episode and so they end up feeling disjointed from each other, but don't quote me on that.
