Contest Salamander Off! Wooper line vs. Charmander line vs. Magby line vs. Salamence!

Design - Magby Line
Worth Using - Varies on the situation.
Most Salamder-ish - Charmander Line

Overall, well it depends what situation, but my favorite would be Charmander.

Most salamander-ish - Charmander

I do love Salamence, but the Charmander line is amazing.

I am going to say Charmander represents by far better the Salamander than anything else. But only Charmader in its line is an actual salamander... still, it's the Salamander fire elemental, so yeah.

... Actually, I think it is the ONLY that actually represents a salamander in general, both animal (ironically) and elemental. Wooper is an Axolotl, which while a kind of salamander it is notable for being considerably different to other salamanders anyway (retaining gills and not metamorphosing, for instance). Magmar is a Karura, which is a humanoid bird-headed being that breathes fire.

I am not sure why Salamence is even named like that, it has little to do with salamanders, and seeing the rest of the line, you'd think "Flygon" would be a more appropiate name for it.

Although I heavily dislike Charizard, my vote goes to Charmander here. It is just too cute and Charmeleon is the most bad ass middle evolution of the earlier generations.

Salamence, it looks simple yet cool, hits hard and has a good movepool. I still like the Charmander and Wooper lines, though.
