i was doing the pokemon emerald cloning glitch, but i turned my gameboy advanced off at the wrong time. i almost screamed my head off.

I lost my save data on my old Silver cart in which I had a natural shiny Spearow/Fearow and a shiny Celebi I got in a trade. I also had most, if not all, of the Pokemon up to the time.

Who knows when the battery in the cart died...I suppose sometime between Crystal being released and Pearl being released.

Needless to say, I was pissed off.

now, back to the story (I have a hacked shiny celebi)

THe save file gets corrupted on my DS lite so often that I do EVERYTHING on the dsi.

In soulsilver, I was playing it on the lite, and It said save file is corrupted blahblahblah... and I thought that's fine the previous save is loaded. But then it said must be deleted I was like WTF? I quickly turned off the DS lite, popped the game into the Dsi. my old file was still there. I was like Sweet Jesus thank you...

When my save was corrupted yesterday I almost lost my ev trained munclax that was on my pokéwalker! But it ended up back in my pc. I was really freaking out!
And shiny celebi! Why?!?! That really sucks!

Nintendo needs to release a way to back DS files up on the comp, or even a whole new system just for that purpose. I'd pay $100 bucks for that.

My worst nightmare is losing my Diamond save file. I've put 2000+ hours of work into that file. The men in the white coats would have to drag me away.

My 1019 block GC memory card got it's data corrupted though. I figured out a way to salvage some of the data though.

Did you know that the games keep some sort of backup copy since Gen III? Anyway, I had my save file get corrupted because I accidentally ejected the cartridge or turned off the power way too soon.

I got a used Emerald off Amazon since I had never payed Gen III, and it was working fine and I got 1 badge and everything, had saved it and turned it off a few times. But then one time I turned it said my save fie was corrupted, and it sees to say that every time I try to play now. Sometimes it' let me save and shut off once or twice before it corrupts, but it still does and now I can't pay through the game. I don't have the time to pay it all in one sitting when I have work.

well, honestly, most of the time, i just get the save file corruption when i clone pokemon (or try to. ^^') but there was one time where it pissed me off.
