I assumed Caitlin has psyquic powers because she apparently sleeps a lot, it's probly a strain on her at times.

I did get the impression Grimsley was rich, but I never would've thought he'd be one who had lost everything and what I saw was him trying to make up for what he loss.

And a gambler? Makes perfect sense, and adds more to his depth as a character.

Nice to learn more on Marshall too, his background in martial arts and why he still holds on to a bit of that despite most likely wishing to do otherwise.

Shauntal, um..I really didn't get much from her in this. So some explanation on that ribbon thing. XD And she isn't a novelist yet? I thought otherwise.

There's gotta be more like this out there! Can someone ask Sugimori? Or, atleast on the Agatha and Bertha relation?

Just because they don't show you a casino, doesn't mean there isn't one. They don't show bathrooms either but we can assume they exist.

You also don't need casinos to gamble. For all we know he could be in some underground poker thing, or even more applicable to the games, making bets on Pokemon battles, after all he seems to have great insights in what makes a good trainer.

Surely a roulette is red and black, not red and blue? Or is it different in Japan?

Have you ever noticed how very few "black" clothing in the games are actually a solid black? Team Rocket's uniform is supposed to be black but is close to a dark grey? It's supposed to be black, but they gave it a bluish tint.

Because Shauntal wasn't given a background? All we were told was her scarf was meant to look like a cat, and they took out the only thing she had going for her--she's no longer a novelist, she only wants to be one.

It's not hate for Shauntal, but disappointment of the content of the interview with regards to her

I'm glad Grimsley is supposed to be more than a vampire as most people suspected. One of my friends suggested that Grimsley may be based on a Matador. He speculated that in Japanese pop culture, Matadors seem to be associated with darkness. Perhaps they are seen as "evil" though I doubted that that was the case.

It does seem like Shauntal doesn't have much of a background compared to the others, but it seems like her dream of being a novelist may have driven her to be an Elite, so she might have a chance of being discovered.

One thing I had seen in the E4 and Alder was that they seem to remind me of some kind of fairy tale: A Hero (Marshal), a Princess (Caitlin), a Witch (Shauntal), a Dark Count (Grimsley), and the Dark King (Alder).

That's hardly a good reason, as now, rather than people buying her books because she's a good writer, they'd do it because of her celebrity status with a built-in fanbase.

Oh, yeah. Here's a theory for the "Darach is closer to Caitlin that you think."... He's one of the guard people around the Elite Four place. Or, hey, he might be working at that badge check gate thing.
