Re: Shiny Pokemon with the Pokeradar

@Dukeburger: I got unlucky with the patch...I'd kept my chain going on a lot riskier patches than that, but this one just felt like a really low blow, and it FELT like it came out of nowhere. That's what I meant.

Well, I may or may not have time to do any chaining this weekend...too much crap to do, mainly for school. Like I said earlier, I tried chaining Cleffa in the Trophy Garden, but I was outside and couldn't see the patches too well. I kept running into Roselia, though...perhaps I should have tried them. Oh well...I got a fairly good Cleffa out of it. Might try and build a UU team with it (I've been wanting to use my Adamant Flareon that's been rotting away in my boxes for ages, too...)

EDIT:
You think?! :) She's my English teacher, you know. Thanks, dukeburger.

0.o wow...small world. You're an English teacher, dukeburger? Or you're just teaching =Dragonite= English?

Re: Shiny Pokemon with the Pokeradar

Aww, you guys are too nice. I'm sure Einstein could reduce fractions and convert decimals though. :p Well I can, but not anything too complicated.

No, I'm not an English teacher, just helping Dragonite. I am majoring in English now though and would maybe like to teach it as a second language eventually. By the way, Dragonite, you haven't asked for help in a while... you can still feel free to PM any time you'd like help or practice. :)

Sorry for being off-topic there... Edo-Kun, I'm really sorry that that happened. At least you're getting better and that must have just been bad luck, which unfortunately is a big part of chaining. You get numb to it after a while, but it's still frustrating. I've just been trying to chain Gligar and I'm giving up for now. He's hard to find and every time I do find him, my chains all break before 10... :/ The game needs to be nice or give me some low chain luck... haven't had that since Fall '07.

Heh, still a small world (I'm a Creative Writing major...if it weren't for the school I'm at now, I would have had to 'settle' for an English major). And Einstien failed his high school math courses ^_~ so don't feel bad.

I think that chain might have been a fluke, to be honest. I've been having trouble with Gligar myself...they're shy little buggers. Still, rest assured I'll keep trying!

YES!!!!!!!!! ^_^ You're majoring in Japanese, too? How awesome -- I'm going to take that as my foreign language (I'm already considering adding a double-major in History)...but yeah! We should TOTALLY write stuff together -- and we can throw in some Japanese, ne?

Yeah, it's tough stuff~! And I'm currently in the process of transferring colleges, so I have a Japanese tutor helping me maintain the language right now. >_< It's mostly the Chinese characters that are the hardest. They're mean. D:

Japanese is a very fun language. ^^ You will enjoy it~! Double-majors are really rewarding if you like both of the subjects, too.

Mmm, Pokemon fanfics.. ;w; Lol.

Yes, we can toss in some Japanese~! Though it will be ちょっと難しい。Unless it's a random word/phrase like that. Then we're good. :O

Heh, I was thinking just a random word/phrase every now and again, actually. ^_^ I'm just sad they're not offering the Japanese 001 (the most basic level, which I'll need to go into) next quarter. I have to wait until next year to start :-(

Ohh, yeah. Japanese classes are strange sometimes. At my old college they only offered the first-year Japanese classes in the Fall semester for a while. It changed in my second year there. It was a really popular class there too, so I don't know why it was only in Fall for so long. c__c

Probably because they figure everyone's going to start in the fall, not in the middle of the year? Anyway...we've hijacked this thread enough. Back on topic!

Shiny Gligars and Gliscors are cool. ^_^ They shall be my next project.

Good point. :O Poor transfer students, though~!

I've been procrastinating on my Sneasels. >-<; Stupid hail... I tried swarming Skitties for a while, too. I think I'll take a break and go chain those for a while. XD

Pretty Skittykins~! <3
