Re: Shiny Pokemon with the Pokeradar
Well, the Trophy Garden is the only place you can find Eevees to chain them. However, by your own words, you waited for the Eevees to be available (saving in front of Mr. Backlot and resetting the DS can help, as it will reset the pokemon available in his garden), but still couldn't find it. I'm afraid that's just bad luck...
But it does bring up another question: how exactly should one go about determining which patch to start the chain on? I've also had experiences where I'm trying to chain something -- Nidorans, Eevees, Gligar, and Cleffa, just to name a few -- and I don't know which patch to start off with. Obviously we can't guarantee a pokemon will be in a specific place or type of patch, but is there some general rule about it? I still can't seem to figure that one out.
For example -- that Larvitar chain of mine a while ago? The first chain I ever got to 39? I had been planning on chaining Gligar, but after many resettings following walking into patches with Geodude and Machop, Larvitar showed up. By that point, I was just happy to see something different, and went with the chain. But was there something I should have looked for in order to ensure a little more that the patch I was walking into had a Gligar in it?
can i just ask where people found Eevee's with the pokeradar?
They are not on the list of 'Exclusive Chain Pokemon' on Bulbapedia... so i waited for them to be present in the mansion's garden, but still had no luck finding any with the pokeradar.
is there somewhere else or did i just not look far enough?
