Hey, I was wondering, does XY have repeated tracks? Like, the same track being used for different routes or locations, etc? Different remixes of the same track would count as different tracks.

Im BW and BW2, are there any duplicate tracks? Like, same track used for two different routes, cities, etc?

Not sure about cities, but like @Ryuutakeshi pointed out for XY, there are routes which share a single theme in the Unova games. As far as I'm aware, no town or city shares a theme in it, even Humilau City has a new song!

I pretty sure Black and White shared music with some of its Routes, if I recall. So does the forest music and cave music.

In XY, however, there are actually shared music in some of the routes. And I remember the annoying song playing in Camphier Town being re-used later on, so there's that one too.

This is something in pokemon soulsilver just to recap/remind

So at the whirl islands' cave where Lugia is, at the top there's a bald man and nearby is a ladder and two items, but they are out of reach. Can anyone explain how to get to them? maybe you know a video that I can follow
I'm sorry. I didn't see this one.

I can come back and edit this a bit later since I'm right there in my current run, but basically you have to enter through one of the entrances (the upper right I think) and go to the large connecting cavern. One of the ladders towards the bottom (I think) leads there.

I'll double check later.

In Pokémon Emerald, I have already used a cheat that has allowed me to have six Exp. Shares at the same time, so that every member of party can be getting trained as we go. Is there a cheat to have them all get an equal amount of experence, just the same as the pokemon in the first slot gets, per battle? Just like in X and Y. I'm wanting to train everything up at a decent rate, without having to switch everybody around after each battle or split the experence six ways. Any ideas on where I could find a code like that? I'm also open to other non-cheat code solutions, if you have any. And please let me know if I'm in the wrong thread. I don't use forums much.

I traded a level 10 Misdreavus into Pokemon Platinum from Pokemon Pearl because I wanted to use him to use mean look on Mesprit later in the game, but after he reached level 12 after I passed the first gym he started to ignoring me most of the time for some reason. My other 4 Pokemon are at levels 13 and 15 and they're doing just fine. How come Misdreavus is the only one who's disobeying me?

Before Generation V, usually the maximum level at which Pokémon will obey the player is increased every second Badge (in Badge case order); since Generation V, this increase now occurs for every Badge instead of every other Badge.
For it to obey you at that level you'll need the second badge. I'll leave an image for future reference in case you need it ^^.

If it's the first time you beat the E4 the episode starts automatically when you load the saved game.
You appear in Litttleroot town and get the tickets from your mom, that's how the Delta Episode starts.

From there you will need to go to the town with the spaceship. My memory escapes me and I can no longer remember the name. I do remember that it is in the upper right corner of the map. Other than that, I remember nothing.

Actually, after Littleroot Town you first have to go to Petalburg City, and some other places after that and then you go to Mossdeep (spaceship town).

You can find the order of towns you need to go to here: link. Beware for spoilers though, if you haven't gone through the Episode before.

If I recall correctly, the GTS for every gen excluding Gen VI, isn't working anymore. Is it still possible for me to trade with someone without using the GTS? Whay kind of connection would you use for Gen IV and V?

Yes, only the internet-based connections are shut down for Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection on Wii and Nintendo DS/DSi (though apparently, the DSiWare shop and Wii Shop Channel remain online). You will still be able to trade locally using the Infrared and regular Wireless (depending on the game, obviously), so don't worry, your games haven't been locked out of double-system single-user tradebacks between two systems, lol

Guys, I have a question. XY has the PokeRadar chaining as the method of increasing the shiny encounter rate. I think at some point, it becomes 1/200, and if multiple shiny patches are seen simultaneously, it's even more. I think the same applies during fish chaining?

So, does ORAS have the same, or a substitute method of increasing shininess, that is just as effective? The DexNav chaining maybe, or something else?

DexNav chains are the Poké Radar equivalent, IIRC. Remember, though, that you must catch or defeat the Pokémon you encounter through DexNav, and you cannot get any encounters in between or scare them off - however, it doesn't need to be the same Pokémon species, any Hidden Pokémon will do fine to keep the chain going. The Bulbapedia article, Serebii and other places (multiple Reddit threads included) should have the full details about how DexNav chaining works and how to maximise your chain for the benefit of shiny hunting.

Hordes should work pretty well, too, but I'm not a shiny hunter so I don't know the specifics. I shouldn't have to tell you at this point that the Shiny Charm should help immensely if you have a full National Pokédex.

I appreciate the help man! I know that the DexNav chaining is the ORAS substitute of Pokeradar chaining, but my question was, do both have the same shiny encounter increase or not? I did look for said info on Reddits, etc, but I found different info, so I don't know who to believe. Some said DexNav chaining doesn't increase shiny encounter rates AT ALL, unlike the XY Pokeradar, and others said that it's the exact same encounter rate increasing as the XY Radar.

I hope somebody can provide a definite/official answer, because I am quite confused.

Hm, you do raise a good point. I don't think I've seen someone datamine that aspect of the game yet.

The only real data analysis I can find about it is this one, which you may already have found. I tend to agree with this research though, that simply using the Dexnav increases your chance of finding a shiny and that it doesn't matter if you chain or not.

I've found multiple shinies when using the Dexnav and most of them without actual chaining (which I'm really bad at). I've been able to hold a chain for more than 100 a few times and all those times haven't resulted in getting a shiny. So I don't think the chance increases while chaining, you have the same chance every time you use the Dexnav (I think).
