You'd probably have to catch it over and over.

Tell me about it. I got so sick of waiting 10 minutes to catch him only to find he has a Rash nature or something that I ended up just using my masterball instead. Even then it took me about half an hour before I finally got a bold one.

Thanks for the link =)

Does the Klutz ability effect items that have no use in battles (ie. the Soothe Bell), or does it stop the pokemon from getting the effect of ANY held item in or out of battle?

It are me again.

Say I've caught Uxie, and he's Bold. How do I know whether or not his IVs are any good, and if they aren't, would it be worth recatching him?

Can I get a second opinion? Not to discredit Korn Cakes by any means, but I'd still like some more advice on this matter.

Thanks in advance and sorry for being a pain. =)

EDIT: Ah, didn't see L's post. *takes a gander at the posted link*

Or you can go with an actual fighting move since it gets STAB and better coverage. Normal moves on it do nothing.

Novice sinnoh trainer here
(I haven't even started!)

Hopefully I will be getting my own DS lite in a few days
and I WILL buy a pokemon game!! haha
I'm planning to buy the game opposite from the game my bestfriend owns.

anyways here's my question...
Is trading allowed at the start of a D/P game?
the only reason I ask this is because I don't particularly want any of the Sinnoh starter pokemons...
I would like to start with a totodile...
My very first pokemon :D

More or less. I THINK you can trade (with someone physically near you) as soon as you get to your first Pokemon Center, but Wi-Fi trading and the GTS come a little later.

At night, I'd use dusk balls on Uxie and Azelf considering the fact that their in caves. I used my masterball on Mesprit, but you can use quick balls or a pokemon with mean look and then paralyze or put it to sleep and use a dusk/ultra on it.

What types would need to be in my party to be able to beat the champion? and in the process all of the gym leaders, trainers, elite four and more importantly the rival...

When I was chasing down Cresselia, I encountered it like 50+ times and I was wondering if I shoulda used quick balls or timer balls.

EDIT: Sorry for the double post. These forums are just so damned slow sometimes.

Quick Balls.

The Timer Balls work for a single long battle, not many short ones.

In the same window that you edit your posts, you can delete them as well (you may have to click the "Go Advanced" button, but it's been a while since I've deleted one of my own posts. I just know it CAN be done).

You can't. RBY and GSC are compatible with each other. RSE and DP are compatible with each other. There is no compatibility between DP or RSE and earlier versions.

Can't I trade them to someone with FireRed or LeafGreen?
