Pacifidlog is good for is telling you if Mirage Island is there (unless I'm forgetting something...but I don't really think I am).

There's a man in a house that gives you a Return TM every week. :p Or Frustration, it depends on the front Pokemon's happiness.

Dang it. I KNEW if I said it was "only" something, I'd be forgetting something.

What's the difference between Porygon2 and Porygon-Z? Where is Porygon2 on the Teir list? Is Porygon-Z strictly better becasue of the higher spead and higher SP.A?

Porygon 2 has higher stats in Def. and Sp. Def. Porygon Z has higher stats in Sp. Att and Speed. as for the tier list
http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Tier_List
bulba pedionly mentions porygon 2 at the very end but does not list it in the tiers
Porygon Z might be considered Better for sweeping once you overcome its speed stat maybe with a choice scarf.

What's the application of Lucky Egg experience and traded pokemon experience?
Answered my own question (I seem to always need to take matters into my own hands):

100 + 50 = 150 / 2 = 75 + 150 = 225
EXP + 1/2 trade; sum divided by 1/2 LE; divided total + original sum = TOTAL

Apparently adding the Lucky Egg to a traded pokemon will give you an extra 1/8 of EXP; more bang for the buck.

If I fight Socialite Reina's lv 60 Roselia with two pokémon, the split difference for two normal pokémon is 976 EXP. If one of the pokémon is a trade, the traded one receives 1464 EXP, which is 488 more than 976, making 1.5.

HOWEVER, if the traded pokémon is holding the LE, the EXP becomes 2196. The formula follows like so:

976 + 488 = 1464 / 2 = 732 + 1464 = 2196 EXP

If it were simply 1 + .5 + .5, the EXP would be 1952. 2196 - 1952 = 244 x 2 = 488 (the half of the original EXP). But it's not, so the boost of LE on traded pokémon is x2.25 and the application of EXP goes as follows:

regular experience > traded .5 experience > Lucky Egg .5 of reg+traded EXP

976 + 488 + 732 (488+244 OR 1464/2) = 2196

1 + .5 + .75 = 2.25

I hate math, but I'm good.

Hidden Power is a move that, depending on your IVs, will have a different elemental type when it does damage (the type USUALLY doesn't change...though I've heard a few instances of people saying it has). So, when you see HP Fire, that means it's Hidden Power, doing Fire damage. Most IV calculators will allow you to see what type your Hidden Power would be for the Pokemon with the IVs you entered.

That's alright, I don't think the majority of people do. But, luckily, there are still plenty of people who do, and are usually willing to share. And I'm sure one will pop in here.

I don't get IV breeding much either. Just one thing I did not understand, unless maybe double battles... why does a geodude know mud sport? It can't be affected by electric attacks anyway.

you have to keep track of what pokemon they have beaten. If you can't remember there is no way to find out, you can start over by using the EV reducing berries.
