Or caves, that works out so much easier for the Sand Cloak

As for the Trash Cloak, Jubilife TV station is probably the best for that.

Is it possible to inbreed pokemon? I hatched a good natured female and a good iv'd male.. They're "siblings" so would I be able to breed them to get offspring with a good nature and ivs or would they not breed?

You could try it, but I don't think they'll be able to breed. I know there are blocks in place to stop 'children' breeding with their 'parents,' so I would assume a similar system is set up to prevent siblings from breeding.

I've done it many times with Maril in gen 3, so I'm pretty sure you can in gen 4 (I'm so cruel).

Why is BoltBeam (Ice Beam/Thunderbolt) the most effective offensive combination in the game if it can only supereffective 5 types compared to Earthquake/Stone Edge, which covers 8 types, or Earthquake/Ice Beam, which also covers 8 types and only Shedinja can practically resist it?

aaaargghhh! (frustration)

What is the best way to catch Uxie? I don't want to use my master ball. I got Uxie down to one HP and put it to sleep. However, I used all 34 of my ultra balls and all 34 of my dusk balls and still did not manage to catch it. What combinations of status ailments/ pokeballs should I use? Or is it just a matter of luck?

Probably the added status conditions and increased accuracy compared to Stone Edge.

Its not the most effective. Why don't you go have a look at some of the top-tier Pokemon and tell me what their weaknesses are. If you can do that, then you've answered your own question.

And you've also answered part of it in your question already. The most common users I see for Boltbeam are those walls which try to get rid of the top-tier Pokemon anyway. Most other sweepers would find them redundant or even a hinderance.

Luck. I managed to nail one with a single Pokeball. Another one cost me around 50 Ultra Balls.

Are IV's purely random?

do you just breed and hope for the best?

IV's guides aren't helping that much...

Use sleep or freeze for status, dusk ball for ball. It's still luck, but that will give you the best chance.

Does anyone remember where the person who trades shards for TMs is in Diamond and Pearl?

whats the best way to catch latias in Sapphire? I have it down to 1hp (I almosed KO'd it with my Kyrogue waterfall) but now what? I have a bellossom that knows sleeppowder, would that work? If so what level would it need to be at, cause it seems that it flees a pokemon under a certian level.

It flees because its faster, not because its under a certain level. If you have Saphire, train yourself a Breloom with Spore, that way, if you actually are faster, your sleep-inducing move is guaranteed.

After that immediately switch into Wobbuffet to prevent it from running incase it wakes up. It will be forced to attack as you switch Wobbuffet out to another sleep inducer (one not weak to Psychic) or to Breloom if you want to risk being killed when it wakes up.

Since it can't run on tha turn, it will be forced to attack. However, once you switch Wobbuffet out and your new Pokemon in, on the next turn it will be able to flee, so make sure you are fast enough to put it to sleep again. Once it is asleep, just repeat the process.

Furthering to the above, if you still can't get it, then do what I did with me trying for Mesprit: Get your sleeper/trapper (Bronzong in my case;P), give it the Quick Claw, and just keep spazzing the sleep move until such a time comes that QC activates and it drops like a bug to sleep.

Which is then your cue to go in for the catch. If that doesn't work, get Hypnosis Crobat, EV it in Special Defense, and make sure he has Mean Look, then find [email protected], ML it, Sleep it and hope for the best.
