How does one transfer Pokemon from Colosseum to D/P ?

You can't do it directly. The only way to get Pokemon from Colosseum/XD to Diamond and Pearl is to first trade them to RSE/FRLG then Pal Park them to D/P.

Oh, hm, okay.
Do you have to accomplish anything in particular on Colosseum before being able to trade, or is it available from the start?

You have to beat the story mode before you can trade in Colosseum.

Okay, thanks.
I know I beat that big colosseum match against the bis bosses of the game or whatever (it was a while ago, I don't remember well).. but I think there's still more to it.

at what level happiness does a riolu evolve? , and not just "full" i need the number?

It's not full. It's the same as all the other happiness pokemon that evolve like that, which I think the number is 200. I just go by the poketech and when is shows 2 small hearts, then I battle to evolve it.

Okies, another question.. though this is technically Gen. III.

Is there any sort of reward for completing the Pokedex in Ruby/Sapphire, and if so, what is it? I'm at 297/300.

If you want the ground type burmy fight on the sand or a cave. If you want the steel type fight in the city.

It works that way if you're hatching Burmy eggs, too- Hatch it in a city for the Trash Cloak (Steel), hatch it on a dirt road for the Sand Cloak (Ground), or hatch it in a grass patch for the Grass Cloak (...Grass). That's how I got the different forms, anyway. ^_^;;

I have a question about vitamins, and I'm hoping it hasn't already been asked. Sorry if it was; I couldn't find it.

Anyway, What exactly do vitaminds do? I've heard that they increase the base stats of a Pokemon, and I've also heard that they add EVs. So which one is it?

A vitamin is a type of item from the Pokémon games. They are used to boost the stats of a trainer's Pokémon.

In Generation I and Generation II games, vitamins increased a stat by a single point, with a maximum of ten of each vitamin which could be given to a Pokémon. However, in Generation III and beyond, stats were calculated with the system of effort values, and so instead vitamins give a Pokémon 10 EV points to a stat, and a Pokémon can have vitamins until the EV value reaches 100.

Oh good. So vitamins are a better deal than I thought.

Thanks so much for answering!

Riddle me this, riddle me that, whoever can answer is king of the math:

I have two pokémon: one is a traded Misdreavus from a J!game, one is a regular Cranidos with Lucky Egg.

We fight a regular lv 50 Roselia (apparently my experiments always find ways of having this as an opponent, before they're even experiments) and Cranidos is out first, switched immediately for Misdreavus, and killed it.

Now, if a regular pokémon faints a lv 50 Roselia, they get 1085 exp. If two regular pokémon faint the same Roselia, they get 542 exp, which is 1084 exp, one rounded down.

Cranidos got 813 exp, which is x1.5 of 542 exp. That's normal.

Misdreavus got 921 exp. That's x1.7 of 542.

...Where does the extra 108 exp come from? Or does it have to do with the bit that it's a Japanese pokémon?

Trading also gives Pokémon an advantage in growth. A traded Pokémon gains boosted experience after a Pokémon battle, which allows a traded Pokémon to level up faster. Pokémon traded from outside of one's own country will gain even more experience.

Have you got the 'Dex upgrade that registers Alternate Forms and Gender Differences? You get it from Prof. Rowans aide at the gate to Canalave. Other than that, I dunno.

Okay, so I've just fought and captured Heatran on Stark Mountain, and went back to evolving a few more Sinnoh dex pokemon. Using the vs. seeker on Route 225, I've found that the Psychic now has two Slowbro, and that the girl to the left of her has a Linoone (previously a Zigzagoon) and a level 60 Skarmory (previously...some level lower).

Has this alteration in the battles been triggered by anything, or is it down to how much time has passed in the game?
