^Correctemundo!
Is this a good move set for a competitive team meganium?
held:leftovers
Synthesis
Aromatherapy
Leech seed
Energy ball

Ive tried it and it works well enough. But I feel there may be room for improvement

This one works with teams that has complete counters...
ones with grass,water,fire...
Meganium - heat rock
→ Sunny Day →Synthesis
→ Solar Beam → Aroma Therapy

this one lets Meganium survive long enough to shoot 3x
or switch to a fire Pokemon that can dish out decent damage
on sunny day if needed...
this Offensive-Tank really makes Aroma Therapy a hell of a pain
and makes Meganium worth putting in the front lines

anyways i was wondering if when a baby hatched...
does it have 0 EVs?
and oh, what's with iv's... i mean... does it grow overtime?
it seems like it's affecting the stats but i don't see changes...
anyways i always get... "proud of it's power" adamant pokemon, just to make sure i've got ATTACK maxed out...

Yes, the Pokemon starts out with no EVs at all.

The "proud of its power" phrase you were referring to means that the Pokemon's Attack stat is its highest IV. (anything divisible by 5 up to 30)

Thanks, but about the iv, i still don't get it...
They say, good trainers would want to breed pokemons just to have those extra 3 iv's... but what about those pokèmons caught in the wild?
do iv's grow overtime or are they just there?

Normal Moves → 6.25%
Moves w/ crit → 12.50%
Moves w/ crit + Super Luck → 25%
Moves w/ crit + Scope Lesn/Razor Claw → 25%%
Moves w/ crit + Super Luck + Scope Lens/Razor Claw → 50%

6.25 X2[Crit moves] = 12.50% X2[super luck] = 25% X2[scope lens/razor claw] = 50%

thanks I appreciate it

You can't calculate a pokemon EV unless it's freshly caught/breed.. In that case, it doesn't has any EV.. You can calculate EV using AR though..

It says in the rules to post an RMT that you need to put the : "Pokémon's EVs (Effort Values)"
how can you know what they are?

The RMT is for competitive teams. If you've built a competitive team, you should be keeping track of your Pokémon's EVs.

Well, if your pokemon has 0 Evs to begin with, when you invest Ev, you can tell how much it has.. If it's from someone, i suggest you to use EV-reducing berries, reduce the Evs to 0.. Then you can calculate yourself from there.. :)

But how to calculate? I can explain that.

Each Pokemon gives 1, 2, or 3 EVs in a stat (example: Bidoof, 1 HP / Staraptor, 3 Attack). In some cases, these EVs are split into different stats (example: Beedrill, 2 Attack, 1 Sp. Defense).

There are items that augment these boosts. The Macho Brace (which is now outclassed by the Power Accessories) doubles any EVs you get when defeating a Pokemon. Let's say you took out a Roselia.

2SA x 2 = 4SA

After defeating Roselia, with the Brace, you get 4 EVs in Special Attack, where you would normally get 2. Similar cases apply to all other Pokemon.

Now for the Power Accessories (Power Bracer, Power Weight, etc.). I'll demonstrate with the Speed item, Power Anklet. This adds 4 EVs in Speed when you defeat a Pokemon. When you defeat a Floatzel...

2Sp + 4Sp = 6Sp

That means 6 EVs in Speed. The Anklet still gives a boost even when the Pokemon doesn't give Speed EVs, but the boost still goes to Speed. This applies to the other Accessories and their corresponding stats. With a Kricketune defeated, you get...

2A + 4Sp

...2 Attack EVs and 4 Speed EVs at the same time.

If you're lucky enough to get Pokerus, this also doubles any EVs you get. This affects the boosts from items, too! Say you're wearing a Power Belt and you defeat a Machop.

(1A + 4D) x 2 = 2A + 8D

With Pokerus, and the aforementioned conditions, you get 2 Attack and 8 Defense EVs!

Final note. At Level 100, 4 EVs equal 1 additional point in a stat. With 252 EVs in a stat (255 is the max, but you're wasting 3 EVs at the max), a stat gets a whopping 63-point boost!

In generations 2 and 3, a non-shiny would Transform into a shiny if the target was shiny but a shiny Transforming into a non-shiny would be non-shiny. In generation 4, a Transformer would retain it's own shininess instead of being affected by the target's shininess.

If I use Explosion or Selfdestruct, the opponent's defence counts as half, right?

That's correct. With SelfDestruct and Explosion, the victim's Defense is cut in half during damage calculation.
