walls benefit from impish or calm... those are good natures for physical and special walls respectfully... timid increases speed and is good for special sweepers...

Usually for sweeper natures I find that Jolly (Physical) and Timid (Special) get the most use as the extra speed is usually more important then the extra power from Adamant (Physical) and Modest (Special). Mixed sweepers usually go with Naive or Hasty, both with add speed, but lower one of the defenses.

You can have a stronger lvl. 50 Staravia than a lvl. 50 Staraptor, but if you have a Staravia then it will be stronger if it evolves.

Yes, Staraptor has higher base stats than Staravia, but pokemon have different natures IV and EV which also affects the actual stats.

how can you use a PID to tell if a shiny legendary pokemon is hacked... are any and all shiny legendary pokemon that cannot be obtained using method 1 hacked???

You need a program that makes PRNG correlations to match a given method taking into account what the user inputs (nature, IVs, etc.). This is a partial list of what can follow certain method or not.

-Method 1-
Used for Legendary Pokémon, starters, revived fossils, gift Pokémon (like Beldum and Lapras) and some special cases (Snorlax) in RSEFRLG. Synchronize won't work in Emerald to have better chances of get a Pokémon with the same nature, though. In DPtHGSS, the Pokémon affected by this are those in which Synchronize won't have an effect, like roaming-Legendary Pokémon, gift Pokémon (including the eggs given by Cynthia, hiker in DP, Riley, HGSS Togepi, etc.), Mystery Gift Ranger Manaphy egg, Sinjoh Ruins event in HGSS and fossils.
Subtypes:
-Method J: Used for all instances in DPt in which Synchronize can be applied, i.e. non-roaming Legendary Pokémon and cave/grass/surfing/fishing Pokémon. Non-shiny chained Pokémon are included here as well.
-Method K: Used for all instances in HGSS in which Synchronize can be applied, e.g. Suicune, Mewtwo, Pewter City Eon Pokémon event, wild Pokémon, Lugia, Ho-Oh, etc.

-Method 2-
Used for wild Pokémon (grass/surfing/caves) in RSEFRLG. Again, Synchronize only works in Emerald.

-Method 3-
Used for wild Pokémon and some rare instances (diving and fishing) in RSEFRLG. Yet again, Synchronize only works in Emerald.

-Method 4-
Used for very rare occurrences of wild Pokémon (diving and fishing) in RSE. For the last time, Synchronize only works in Emerald. The different Tanoby Chambers Unown are placed in this class I guess until further confirmation.

-Wonder Card method-
Mystery Gift Pokémon in DPtHGSS have their IVs calculated by method 1 distributions but the nature is completely random at any time in the case that the Pokémon can have any nature (Personality Value in other words). The game has a shininess check to prevent shiny ID-SID|Personality Value correlations to show up, making shiny Pokémon impossible to get in this way unless the species was already included in the Wonder Card with that characteristic by default (WCS Milotic, Pikachu-Colored Pichu, etc.)

-Chained shiny method-
Chained shiny Pokémon (those which appear in sparkling-shiny patches of grass by using the Poké Radar) follow this method, which is just forcing a method 1 Pokémon into becoming a shiny Pokémon by modifying the IVs and the PV. Shiny Gyarados in HGSS (aka Red Gyarados) uses this method as well, I think.

I have a Koffing with Pain Split and another with Will-O-Wisp...why doesn't the offspring have both moves? Is it a issue between the parents gender or what? Or am I supposed to for example take a Koffing with Pain Split and a Shuppet with WoW and then the Koffing will have both?

Idk this shit is tedious and confusing, thanks Nintendo.

Hm I should have looked closer, seeing as WoW is a TM and Koffing can learn it without the whole breeding process.

<_< thanks deuce.

If a pokemon has the Sticky hold ability and uses Fling, do they still lose the item?

it'll disobey. However, since the start of gen 4, you can trade eggs which will hatch with our ID and will obey you.

when you trade the pokemon doesn't matter neither does how much it likes you matters. If you pass the level your badges allow you all traded pokemon will disobey

Let's say there's a Pokemon with the Insomnia ability. Will it work when the pokemon uses Rest?

And if a pokemon holding Focus Sash uses Explosion, does it survive?
