it would be 210 for a poisoned staraptor.

However, please note that unless the pokemon has Guts as an ability, burn halves the damage of physical attacks, so it would be 105 for a burned staraptor.

Thank you for this info, I think paralysis is the solution: you loose 25% of speed but doesn't loose HP. ^^
BTW, is there a item to paralysis the holder?

Nope. Only Toxic Orb and Flame Orb are self-inflicting status hold items for badly poisoned and burned respectively.

Nice try, but a Paralyzed Staraptor is worthless. It can get killed by almost anything. If you are going to bother with Facade (should be using Swellow instead for that) just use Toxic Orb.

Yes.

of course you can.
ps: I'm not sure, I think the parents can't be traded pokémon.

It doesn't matter if the Pokemon are traded or not.

Both are dual normal/flying types pokémon, don't they both would be killed by almost anything if we are considering this? Why would be Swellow a better choice?

If it's a foreign pokémon the game mechanics change (Masuda), I think RNG will fail since you can't input that data into the count.

also, when rng abusing, for the coin toss taps, do i tap the coin or a spot on the screen? And do i have to catch the pokemon that will serve as the parent, or is that only to determine the values?

tap the coin. wait it's result. tap again, ...

the pokémon you have to catch is just to determine the values. please note that this pokémon must be L:50

you can use foreign traded pokemon as the parents... you just need to set the method to international parents... its right in the drop down menu...

edit... you can use pokemon as low as level 47 to calculate your taps needed

tap the coin... and let the coin flip... do not just tap all the taps in a row... you can use any poke as the parent... even if it is in a box... accesing your box will not change the RNG

Because Swellow has Guts, Staraptor don't.

exactly 50 or 50+: don't know either.
you doesn't needs a specifc result with the coin, if so that would be frustrating after 800 double clicks! lol

one other thing is confusing me
when it says 313 taps for the happiness apps, does that mean actually tap it 313 times or make the pokemon jump 313 times

That essentially means the same thing, tapping makes them jump.

Smogon's guide that you should be using said:
At this point you should begin tapping both applications as many times as you were told to do so. A tap on the happiness checker is a double click that makes the Pokémon jump. It is recommended that you do the Happiness Checker Application taps first, as you will want to flip away from this Application when you are done to avoid automatically tripping it. Once you have completed this task advance to the next step.

It is important to remember to switch away from the Happiness Checker before proceeding to the next step!

sorry
the guide's a little confusing
also, the conditions say no weather, which I know includes Stark mountain, but does it work if the pokemon is caught in a cave

I saw that someone else pointed it out, but Guts is the main reason.

If it's a foreign pokémon the game mechanics change (Masuda), I think RNG will fail since you can't input that data into the count.

The mechanics do change, that's why you tell the RNG program that you are using international parents. Instead of DPPt Egg PID, use DPPt Egg PID (International). And by the way, if you neglect that detail all that will happen will be that you miss some of the shiny frames that are shiny with international parents but not without.

Anything ~50 or higher will work. I recommend catching something in the resort area, where they have all those Grass/Bug types that are around L50.

And no, the coin toss results don't matter if you are just trying to RNG an eggs Nature/Ability/etc. Just make sure you do the right NUMBER of flips.

Pika Pal, you are seriously overthinking this...

*double tapping
