How much time/how many steps is/are needed for a Shuckle to turn a Oran Berry into Berry Juice, and how much time/how many steps are needed for a Shuckle to turn Berry Juice into a Rare Candy?

What is the best moveset for Wobbuffet? I have heard Counter, Safeguard, Mirror Coat and Destiny Bond, but I have also heard that Counter, Mirror Coat, Encore and Destiny Bond is bets. Which would you say? I have a baby Wynaut I'm going to raise to take on a friend of mine who ignores competitive battling and insists his Lucario can't be beat, so I want to use the hardest Pokemon known the man cheapest Pokemon to crush him.

For that specific situation, I suggest Encore over Safeguard. Lucario doesn't usually pack any status moves, anyway. However, since you want it to attack (as you can't do any damage unless it does), I wouldn't recommend either move.

Instead, I would run Counter/Mirror Coat/Encore/Tickle or Charm. If Lucario tries to set up, Encore the move, then proceed to use Tickle. I'm going to hazard a guess that your friend's Lucario is mainly physical aside from Aura Sphere, so either Tickle or Charm work massively against it. Tickle lowers defense, while Charm lowers attack. I would imagine Tickle being the more useful choice in this situation, though.

Hope this helped.

Alright thanks. Neither Wynaut nor Wobbuffet learn tickle though, so I'll have to go with Charm instead.

Edit: Any specific nature I should go for, or does it not matter with Wobbuffet? The one I have currently (which hasn't been raised at all yet) is Docile.

...I know it's possible...Smogon lists a set with it...*goes to 'pedia* Oh, it's only through an event...I see...in that case, Charm would probably work.

Docile...COULD work, but I suggest Relaxed or Sassy. Smogon suggests Calm or Bold, I suppose depending on whether or not you want to use Safeguard or Tickle, but really, Wobbuffet doesn't need speed, and a -Speed nature ensures that neither Counter and Mirror Coat are weakened.

Alright thanks, I'll see about breeding for one of those 4 natures, -Speed does make a lot of sense though, to insure it goes last.

Where did you get the idea that Wish and Belly Drum were compatible exactly? I am on the Smogon page and there are no sets that have both Belly Drum and Wish. As far as I know, the combination is impossible. However, you CAN do Belly Drum + Softboiled.

Edit: Ninja'd

Clefable is able to abuse its huge support movepool to end up at +6 Attack with 100% health. By using Wish the turn before belly Drumming, Clefable is able to avoid the crippling HP cut experienced by many other Belly Drummers. It can then use STAB Double-Edge to sweep; the recoil damage Double-Edge inflicts is ignored, thanks to Magic Guard.
-from smogon the belly-drum analysis

jeez, you should've specified that it's a wish-switch-in combo with belly-drum... you really got my hopes up >___<

Clefable with Belly-drum + softboiled is a risky combo... coz you'll be 1HKO'd after you belly-drum... except if you're fast enough to 'soft-boiled'
unlike wish... you heal the -50% HP that was lost on the same turn after you belly-drum... UGHHH

anyways, forget clefable...
can someone give me a good sunnyday-solarbeam team user?
only 3... my other 3 would be another combo team...
like... pokemons who have chlorophyll and such...
My idea
Shiftry - chlorophyll w/ synthesis
Tropius - solar power w/ synthesis
Houndoom - early bird rester
or
Roserade - weather ball, solarbeam, synthesis, sunnyday

any better idea?

A choice specs, Solar power, Solarbeam sunflora under a sunnyroom (trick room + sunny day) could be quite deadly, but difficult to pull off

Sunflora has low HP, and if you use that combo... the set up should take, 2 turns or if it was set up with a partner...
it would take 3 turns... and that's more than enough time to kill sunflora or heavily damage both the partners... or kill both
which is not proportional to the damage output you can make out of the combo...
imo, virtually strong but tactically weak...
need more suggestions...
thanks for the 'share' though :boom:

Banette can set up both Trick Room and Sunny Day, while also taking out the opponent with Destiny Bond to ensure that Sunflora gets in as quickly as possible.

Don't knock it 'till ya try it...

That's one way to do it. If your Pokemon has PKRS and is holding the Power Anklet you will get 10 Speed points per Magikarp so to fully EV train it you can use 10 Carbos + defeat 15 Magikarps while holding the Power Anklet + defeat 1 more magikarp without the Power Anklet = 252

Yes, I believe that the Japanese Secret Key is the only Mystery Gift that had the ability to be transfered to another game. It should work between different language versions.

Wrong: sharing Wonder Cards between versions of different languages is impossible. The same is true for Mystery Gift signals transmitted over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection or via Wireless local (e.g. the NZ Jirachi event in an English game, for example).

OMG YaY... Banette !!! Thx Dude... So i'd have
Sunflora, Banette, and?

Trap the opps main sweeper... switch in to banette do a sunny-room destiny bond combo... kill sweeper... switch to sunflora and 1HKO the rest of the weak HP'd pokemons... Hmmm, i like it...

What stats should i get for Banette? EVs, nature, skills... sunnyday, trick room, destiny bond, and? flamethrower?

What's the best way to spread my Wobbuffet's EVs from where it is at currently? It has 100 EVs in HP, Special Defense and Defense each, all via vitamins. It's still level 1 and has no received any more EVs yet. Currently still a Wynaut, and has a Relaxed nature.

Try this spread perhaps?

52 HP/252 Def/204 SDef

You might have to reduce your HP EVs (done through Pomeg Berries).

Alright. I'll work on it's SDef and Def some first before lowering the HP. How many EVs do Pomeg Berries lower it by?

Edit: Nevermind I found it. It's -10. I'll just go ahead and lower that some now.

Event Pokemon can not be Shiny unless they're Shiny to begin with, correct?

Also, what would be the best way to check IVs on a brand new, unused Pokemon? Regardless of it being a just received Event Pokemon or a just caught Pokemon.
