Thanks for the clarification, PDL.

Also, as for statuses, sleep and freeze are better for capturing than the others.

I've also read that when you throw a ball, as soon as it touched the pokemon, saying "GOTCHA!!" to the mic would help cathing the pokemon. I dont know wether it is true, but I do it anyway, startling my brother a lot when I yelled "GOTCHA" out loud. Lol.

I have a question about the technicalities of a certain move.

Ok - I have a realllly slow pokemon with Destiny Bond. It's basically ALWAYS the last to go. Now, say I'm in a double battle, and because I'm the slowest, I'm the last to go. I use destiny bond after everyone else has used a move. Will the effect of Destiny Bond stretch until my next turn (hence, protecting me from the next few moves) or will the effects stop at the end of the round of moves (after I go, and there is nobody who moves after me, the effect stops).

Thanks a lot - I hope my question makes sense.

Another quick question. I'm looking for the action replay code where the number of masterballs you have equals the number of thepokemon you run into in the wild. (ex: if you have 25 masterballs, you will run into all pikachus). I see great potential in EV training....

Thanks again!!!

From GameFAQs:
Here is the code to allow you to get any Pokemon at any lvl. PRESS L+R to ACTIVATE(pretty simple), TOSS the amount of Heart Scales that equal to the Pokemon Number (Toss: 0 Total: 493 = Arceus) and run around in grass, surf, etc while HOLDING L. You can also combine with the SHINY code to get the Pokemon to be shiny. Press R+A to Activate, L+A to DeActivate. It’s your choice.

Here is the code:(I advise you to put the code in as shown, not seperately...)

I think I worked this out the other week, but have forgotten since.

Why does Medicham's Bulbapedia entry list moves like Fire, Thunder and Ice Punch at the 'Start'? They're not under Meditite's list of moves, so I was confused Does it 'want' to learn them upon evolution or something?

You know in Soloceon Town in that one house with the little kid who goes in the Ruins? Can you get seals from him? How?

Catch Unown. Have them at the top of your party. Talk to the kid and he'll give you 10 stickers corresponding to the Unown.

What do you have to breed with to get Wish and/or Fake Tears on an Eevee, and Agility on a Torchic?

Thank you, Penny and Outrage!

(argh...so many questions from me...I'm sorry) How do you determine your pokemon's actual IVs? I know the phrase on the trainer memo gives what stat it's in, but when I looked at the Guide to Natures and Traits thread on this site, it just confused me even more. For example, if I had a pokemon that "Likes to Thrash About", the IV spread looked like this: 1 6 11 16 21 26 31. How do I know if my pokemon's IV is 1 or 31, I guess is my question. Also, how do you figure out the values of stats besides the one which is the highest? If anyone could explain the whole process to me a little more clearly, it would be a great help!

I'm just learning about EV training, and such. But what i don't understand are effort points, the things that max out at 255. If anyone could give me a good explanation of this would be much loved xD.

Cheesus Is Lord: Thank you SO much! This is exactly what I needed -- something to do all the work for me ^_^;; hey, but at least I know it's right. Thank you again!

Jimbo: http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/showthread.php?t=26953 I've seen you post here, I don't know why you felt the need to ask here...I'm new at EV training too, but this gave all the info I needed.

I haven't played since Gen II, but recently jumped back in with Pearl. I did a lot of looking around to figure out what I've missed, but there's still some simple questions that I just can't find answers to.

1. I figured the Battle Tower would be my friend when it came time to filling out the Nat'l Dex, since I don't own ANY of the GBA games. HAH...yeah. I didn't see any notes before hand about it not registering those battles, and here I was hunting down the trainers/partners with the other starters & rares to unlock their entries. Question is.. are there any trainers in the normal D/P game that fight with the older gen starters outside of the Tower? I do have a Charizard thanks to a friend, but I don't want to keep resorting to trading just to unlock those entries if I can help it.

2. If I've already traded over the GTS and received non-English pokemon, but haven't unlocked the ability to see language-specific entries, will I be able to see the ones I already got once I do unlock the option, or does it have to be new trades from then on? And I hear that only certain pokemon get this option?

3. Last, what's the point behind "Groups"?

I also have a question. Sorry if it is kinda stupid. I went to a hotspot (first time!!) earlier today, knowing that that hotspot do have Internet connection. But when I tried to connect, it says "You need a WEP key to get connected with this watever.. I forgot". What is the WEP key? Where can I get it? Thanx.
